" Well if you've forgotten your place in this house,let me give you a quick reminder.I'm his lawfully wedded wife so I'm in charge. You're just his s*x doll he uses to satisfy his desires whenever he needs it" I said and everybody gasped in shock. Hailey opened her mouth to say something but the words were not coming out. She turned and saw everyone looking at her.
"Brian will hear about it" she took her bag and walked away in shame.
" Are you going to stare the whole day" I said and they all smiled and bowed, continuing their work.
I succeeded in driving her away and she stopped coming. It really hurt her ego. I was expecting Brian to say something about it but he never mentioned it so I just shrugged it off.
Brian was the annoying type. He would find ways to annoy me and tease me. I'd always wished he'd just leave me alone. On days that he'll be busy at work too I find myself missing him. I was getting bored with no one to talk to with Brian gone . Jenny would always come visit to keep me company. I had grown fond of her and she loved my place
Gasper would sometimes come visit to see if I was okay.He and Jenny always frequent me with their visits. I would sometimes visit the Jades at times too. Brian was so sweet and loving. I sometimes wondered if this was the Brian I met or a new Brian. But I had locked my heart for a long time. I didn't know how to fall in love.
"Get dressed, I'm taking you with me" he button his shirt, looking at himself in the mirror
" Where are we going"
" To a business party"
"Ohh" was the only thing I could say. I dressed in a silver satin dress. It had sparkles on it and the back was laced. I did a little magic on my face and that was it. I looked like a fairy. I wore a silver heel to match. I took my silver purse and went to meet Brian who was waiting for me outside. He opened the door for me and I sat. He drove off after making sure I was comfortable.
At the party
The party was buzzing with a lot of people and it smelt of wealth. A lot of people with connections and fame were there. Drinks and meats were served and people sat at a table to enjoy.
We became the centre of attention as Brian held my hand to a VIP table he had reserved for us and a few of his friends. Brian pulled the chair for me to sit before he sat down. He ordered drinks for us and for his friends. Then they started to discuss business deals and projects. I felt awkward as I wasn't able to contribute and was starting to get bored. I got up to leave but he held my hand.
I found one of his friends staring at me and I kinda felt awkward. I left them and walked to the last floor of the building. I admired the city and its dazzling lights which made it look beautiful.
"Hello there" I turned and I found the man who was staring at me at the table
" Hi" I said simply and he took my hand and kissed the back of it. Gosh....!! What does he want?
" Do you know you're the star of the night" he stared at my face. Trynna flirt huh? I thought and smiled. I saw Brian looking at us from a corner .
