Adrian squinted, his voice icy, “Is that a problem?” Melina was momentarily speechless. She had no choice but to help Adrian up from the bed, her face flushed as she avoided looking at him. “Get up,” she murmured softly. As Adrian got out of bed, Melina warned, “Be careful. If you fall, I don’t have the strength to pull you up.” They walked side by side, with Adrian leaning more and more against her. Unable to hold back, Melina complained, “Hey, can’t you put in some effort?
