“Llona?”
I sat up straight and glanced to the open door, groaning in frustration. Kiera stood in the doorway, her face reddening. “Sophie’s asking for you.”
“I’ll be right there.” I waited until Kiera was gone before I said to Liam, “I’d better go.”
The moment I’d hoped for had past.
He came to his feet and took me with him, but he didn’t let me go. Instead, he slid his arms around me and pulled me to his chest. “We need some serious alone time.”
“I agree.”
He sighed and let me go. “I should go see Aaron. Meet up with me later?”
