One Month Later

Its been a month. And to say my life has changed dramatically would be an understatement. I had managed to get to New york safely, i only got a place to rent and luckily i also found a roommate. Her name is Nicole Adams. She is also twenty and a vampire. She was honest with me from the start, she had figured that if i had freaked out, she would just compel me to forget about ever meeting her but since i had lived with supernatural beings my whole life. It was not a big deal for me, i had only asked her not to bite me or kill anyone and she had agreed. We got jobs serving as waitresses in a small restaurant.

The weirdness started the second week, i was in a bus in the morning heading to work. As you know busses are usually full in the mornings so i was a standing passenger. I noticed this weird guy a few feet away from me groping a girl who was in front him. Why do guys do this? I was so mad that i wished to break his arm and suddenly there was a snap sound and the guy started to scream in pain. His right arm was broken, the same arm he was groping the girl with. I was so shocked by what had happened cause if i was the one who did that, that would mean i had magic.

I quickly got to work and looked for Nicky, she had started a bit earlier than me. I quickly told her what happened, and she said we would test the theory of me being a witch when we got home. The day went by quickly, and we went home.

"C'mon Skye, try to concentrate on lighting up the candle." Nicole had said.

"Im scared Nicky, what happens if i have magic? I don't want to go back home."

"I will help you girl but first we need to know."

So i had concentrated on the candle she had put on the coffee table. I kept thinking light up, light up and to my astonishment, the candle lit. Yep i had magic and that was just the first day of the second week.

On the third day, i started having cravings as in blood cravings. When Nicky would drink her blood bag before sleep i would literally tie my legs and hands because all i wanted was that blood. At last Nicky had noticed and asked me why i had not told her that i was new vamp. I quickly denied that, because to be a vampire i would have to die first and that too with vampire blood in my system. Neither of that had happened. Nicole had proceeded to give me one of her human blood bags to try and see if it tasted good. The minute the blood got on my tongue, i attacked the blood bag, wanting more and just like that i had fangs. That's when i discovered that i was a vampire too, i guess when Leon bit me thrice, some of his venom went into my system, thou i didn't die. I somehow changed into a vampire. Nicole was a great support to me, she helped me with my cravings because i was now a vamp-witch, one of the most powerful hybrids. The myth hybrid.

On the sixth day, i started to get irritable, having mood swings, barely managing my magic and my vamp side, i guess being a rookie too didn't help. When i started throwing up continuously, Nicky finally suggested for me to take a pregnancy test and to my horror i was pregnant. The only thing good about supernatural pregnancy was that a full term pregnancy would be in four months, instead of nine.

So here is my story, im a month pregnant and im now a vamp-witch. I talked to my family everyday and i had recently told them that i was pregnant with Leon's baby. They were supportive as usual. I then asked Sofia to get me Leon's number, he deserved to know about his child. Sof texted me his number and i quickly made the call.

"Hello." A female voice answered his phone. I knew that voice it was Monalisa.

"Is this Alpha Leon's phone?" I asked.

"Yes, he is in the shower. Who is this?"

Before i could answer i heard Leon talking to her.

"Is that my phone, what have i told you about answering my calls?" He growled at her.

"Im sorry Alpha, it was a mistake." She answered him in a teary voice. What was going on? Why would she refer to her own mate as Alpha? Why did she sound afraid of him? A million questions popped in my head but they were soon cut off when a deep voice said, "Leon here, who is this?"

I had missed that deep voice. Eventually i said, "Hi Alpha, Its Skye."

"What the f**k do you want?" He growled. Okay what was his problem? I would think by now that he was a less douche bag.

"I want to tell you something."

"Speak, you have thirty-seconds."

"Im pregnant." I say getting straight to the point

"So?"

"What do you mean, so? Its yours."

He started laughing so hard that i thought my ears would start to bleed.

"That's a good one Skye, you went away and whored your way through different men and now you wanna blame me for your pregnancy." He snarls.I was so hurt by his words. This is the third time he has managed to hurt me again. Why did i even think that it was a good idea to tell him about the baby? "Don't call me again. If you keep up this s**t, i will send my men to tear you limp by limp little human." He threatened.

"Fine, your loss." And then i hang up. It was indeed his loss. He will never get the chance to know his child.

Im not a human anymore and this i***t has hurt me enough. I wont put up with him anymore. In the evening i told Nicky what Leon had said and i also told her that i would go to a supernatural academy to learn how to use my abilities and i would also keep my baby. Nicky said she would support me through it all.

Things were going well. I had enrolled into the supernatural academy two months back and i was being taught how to use my magic, earth spells, dark spells, expressions and i was getting the hang of it. I had enrolled as a witch, no one knew of my vampirism only Nicky. If anyone knew they would target me since i was now one of the most powerful high breeds, who was also pregnant. Nicky, my family and i had researched about it and it turned out that my baby was going to be a tri-breed. Vampire, witch and a werewolf. We believe that she will be born with magic and a werewolf and she will be a vampire too. Her vampire side would need to be triggered as time goes by.

Nicky and i are walking home and its now a bit dark, suddenly i felt a prick on my neck,and the last thing i remember was falling in someone's arms.

I jerked up awake. Where was i? Where was Nicky? I felt disoriented.

"Well well well the doll is awake. Im impressed, i gave you the strongest drug that we have here. That should have knocked you out for at a least a day not two hours." A deep voice says.

I quickly snap my eyes towards the way the voice was coming from and i was met with grey like eyes. I have to admit this guy was hot and sexy as hell. I wouldn't mind jumping his bones but unfortunately i didn't feel any s****l attraction towards him.

"Who are you? Where am i? Where is my friend?"

"One question at a time doll."

"My name is Skye not doll." I snapped at him.

"But you look like a doll. Those amaizing eyes of yours. The red hair and that sexy body of yours. Even thou you are pregnant you are still beautiful." He replied in a sexy voice. My n*****s tightened at that. f**k hormones. I cant believe i responded to this guy even thou it was a little gesture. I didn't know this guy. Rolling my eyes in return to his comment. He just chuckles and raises his arms in surrender.

"Okay to answer your questions. You are in the Hive. Your friend is on the bed next to yours. And my name is Matthew but you can call me Matt. Im the boss around here." He said in a serious voice. All the teasing vanishing from his face. Yeah i didn't doubt that he was the boss around here. He looked lethal when he isnt flirting or teasing.

I quickly looked to see if Nicky was there and she was. She was sleeping soundly, clearly the effects of the drug.

"Why did you kidnap us?" I asked.

"I know you are a vamp-witch and i want you to work for me for five years. Killing and eliminating anyone i want you to."

"You want me to be an assassin?" I ask in shock and he nods in confirmation.

"And if i refuse?" I asked. And just as quickly the lethal expression was back on his face. I swear his eyes glowed silver. His face was now stone cold. This guy was dangerous. I needed to trade carefully. He can easily hurt Nicky or worse, my baby.

"If you refuse, i will kill you and your friend and take your baby to raise as mine." He replied calmly but i could see he was anything but calm. His answer also freaked me out. I wanted to raise my baby with love and in a safe environment but it seemed like fate had turned its back on me again. Otherwise why would it bring someone like Matt into my life. Hadn't i suffered enough?

"Okay i will do it. Just please don't hurt my baby and my friend." I pleaded with him. And he nodded in agreement. The way he was looking at me, it felt like he found me attractive. But i might be wrong. I didn't have enough experience.

He quickly opened the door for an elderly woman to enter and he asked me to refer to her as Madam Faith. He said she would help me give birth and take care of my child when i will be on missions. Further more Nicky and i will be staying with her. After a month of giving birth, Nicky and i were to start karate lessons, we will be taught tai chi and other things too. He brought a contract and we both signed it. Nicky was awake now too. He had given her another injection to wake her up. As soon as five years were up we would be allowed to leave. I was not looking forward to killing supernatural beings but i would do anything to save my child.

I was allowed to make one call per day and i used the opportunity to talk to Uncle, Aunt and Sofia. I told them of my situation and asked them not to tell anyone. Matt had told me that he was a wolf and The Hive was his pack.

Four months passed by and i gave birth to a healthy baby girl. I named her Isabella Margaret Valdes. My baby was so beautiful, her eyes blue just like her father. She even had a birth mark of a star on her shoulder blades just like Leon. After a month of breast-feeding her. Our training started. I could trust Madam Faith with Isabella, she was smitten with her and she was also a good woman.

Matt supervised our training and sometimes he would be my spur partner. I was tortured with almost everything for my body to build-in resistance. Nicky and i were taught to use swords, guns and blades. Matt started giving us a hit list and we would kill the target without mercy, some were rogues and some were his enemies. My magic was strong now i could do anything i put mind to it, as for my vampirism it was also going great. I could manage my hunger just fine now.

FIVE YEARS LATER

My Isabella is a big girl now. She is smart and intelligent. Her magic had started to manifest when she was three, so she knows a few earth spells and expressions. She turned five last week. Our five year contract was almost up and we were preparing to leave The Hive.

Thou i never made any real friends here, im still sad to leave Madam Faith behind. As for Matt, it was clear to everyone that he was madly in love with me. I could see that he did not want to let me go. Once he had cornered me in one of his karaoke rooms. See i had developed a habit of singing and dancing. I had an amaizing voice. Usually i would sing and dance with Isabella but that day i was alone. He had forcefully kissed and devoured my mouth that i my legs had turned weak. Damn the guy could kiss. And if i had to be honest i was a bit attracted to him. He was hot. But it was on physical level. And i only felt it that much when he kissed me that day, saying that he would do anything for me if only i just agreed to be his. Too bad i had not been interested in being tied to another man. Even one who was madly in love with me. When i had shaked my head no, he had gotten that crazy look in his eyes and slammed his lips on mine again. Kissing me so roughly that i thought my lips were going to fall off. I had to kick him in his nuts for him to let me go. That day he had sworn that he would make me his. And i had done everything to stay out of his way. Which had proved to be difficult since he eyes were mostly on me. Creeping me out.

He is around Leon's age. Leon i cant believe i have not thought about him for all these years. Last i heard was that he had divorced Monalisa and by that i mean, beheaded her because he had caught her in bed with another wolf. He was also pestering my family wanting to know where i was but i had told my family not to tell him ever.

I will be going home to the Crescent Moon Pack with Nicky and Isabella. I cant wait to see my family. Even thou i wont admit it out loud, some part of me cant wait to see Leon too.
