Leon's Pov.

I woke up and felt someone cuddling me. I don't cuddle with my s*x buddies ever. I just do the did, find my pleasure and leave them. Since its Monalisa i guess i will try to learn to cuddle because im planning on making her my mate. Our kind can forge a mate bond by simply biting each other on the neck to create the mark. Its different from the original one thou. Real mates only the man needs to bite the woman while having s*x to create the mark and complete the bond.I don't remember bringing Mona up here thou. I remember getting distracted when my little human mate entered the basement. She looked hot but what she had been wearing had made me so turned on and furious because the guys were ogling her badly as if they wanted to eat her up. Suddenly i caught that amaizing scent again chocolate and vanilla, my mate's scent. I jerked up quickly and looked beside me and that's when i saw her sleeping next to me. The memories also came back in a flash. I remember throwing Lewis at the wall, dragging Skye in the room, kissing her forcefully and telling her that i wanted her. And worse that she was my mate. s**t what have i done?

Looking at her more closely i noticed that i had bitten her with my fangs and drank from her and now that i remember, her blood was the sweetest type i have ever tasted. There is no one with quite like hers. Just thinking about it is making my fangs grow long just to have a taste again. I also noticed that she had marks of my canines too. Did i mark her? f**k. This wasn't good at all. So i had unleashed all my beasts on her and clearly i had my wicked way with her. She had bruises on her neck and arms because of my strength i guess.

I remembered that she was a virgin or had been one. I can even feel how satisfied i am rightnow. I have never felt this satisfied after s*x. Even when i had cummed twice with my s*x buddies or Mona for that matter. Either way i could not keep her. I still hated her and she was still a weak human and a mortal. I quickly got up, took a shower, got dressed and asked Jake to deliver a dress to the room. I could see hers was torn and i needed her to get out immediately. Jake sent someone with the dress a few minutes later. I drew a few notes from my wallet, placed them on the pillow next to her and sat on the chair waiting for her to wake up.

A few minutes later she stirred in her sleep and opened her eyes. She was beautiful when she was still half asleep. Cant we keep her? my wolf growled in my head. Ofcourse not i quickly told him. Her eyes landed on me and i could see that she wanted to say something but i beat her to it.

"Your money is on the pillow next to you, get dressed and get out!" I snarled.

I saw pain and shock flash in her eyes. "Did i do something wrong?" She asked.

"How dare a w***e like you touch me? I hate you so much but since the deed is already been done. Take your money and leave." I growl.

"But you said i was your mate." She murmurs.

"I don't care, im planning on rejecting you anyway. How can someone as weak and pathetic as you become my mate. You cannot be my Luna." I growled at her.

"Okay" She mumbled.

I don't know why but her response infuriates me. I guess i was expecting her to put up a fight some more or at least get clingy or even cry her eyes out. She started getting up and i quickly went to her and jerked up her head with my hand and smashed my lips on her roughly. Why do i keep doing this? I questioned myself while still devouring her lips and she was fighting me badly but i was not letting her go. I was going to have my fill and enjoy her one last time. For some reason i could not help myself. I left her lips and went for her neck kissing it too.

"Leon let me go, you cant keep doing this to me" She says. I heard her, i swear i did but i suddenly remembered the taste of her blood. And i wanted it again. I didn't hesitate, i sank my fangs into her again and she screamed. Ofcourse it hurt her because i had sank my fangs on the exact spot i had marked and bitten her yesterday. The screaming didn't last thou because i know an orgasm hit her immediately. My fangs has always been able to give pleasure to women.

Her blood was so addicting. I left her neck and kissed her on the lips some more and pushed her towards the shower. She didn't fight or argue. Its like she got the message that i was done with her. After a few minutes she came back wearing the dress and quickly went to the door.

"Don't tell anyone about what happened here." I snarl.

"Yes alpha." And she was gone.

After she left i went out too. Luckily the place was empty. My phone suddenly ringed and i noticed that it was my father.

"Hi Dad."

"Hey son, i know you found your mate, so at daybreak there will be a ceremony to bind you together."

Being bind together was something like marriage.

"Who told you that?" I asked him.

"Son i have my ways."

"No Dad, im not going to complete the bond with that human girl. I hate her so im planning on rejecting her."

"Im glad to hear that son. She is too weak for you." He agreed shocking me.

"Then why did you suggest the ceremony?" I ask.

"I just wanted to know how you felt about the situation first, but your mother wont be happy with your decision at all."

I sighed, of course she wont be happy. She wanted me to have a real mate not forge the bond and she also disliked Mona a lot. After my father gave me the details of the ceremony we hung up. Yeah the ceremony was going to be held. And i was going to reject her in front of the whole pack and then forge a bond with Mona on her watch too.

Skye's Pov.

After i got out of the room. I was glad that the basement was mostly empty. I made my way towards the exit and saw that Sofia was still parked and she was sleeping on the seat, clearly waiting for me. Oh my beautiful cousin, i love you so much. I knocked on the window to let her know that i was here and she should unlock the doors for me. She jerked up and when she saw it was me she quickly unlocked the doors.

"Skye, where have you been? I was so worried." She said hugging me tightly. I felt bad instantly because i had simply vanished from her sight, to be fair that jerk had pulled me away.

"Im sorry Sof, i was in one of the rooms."

"With who?"

"Leon." I murmur.

"The Alpha?" She asked in a shocked voice.

"Yes." I replied quietly.

"Okay, tell me everything." She demanded.

I quickly told her the events, starting from yesterday when i had bumped into him and then at the party and how he was my mate, and of course the part were we had s*x and him drinking from me thrice and lastly to the moment when he paid me money, called me a w***e and told me to get out. By the time i was done i was crying badly. Sofia quickly hugged me. I could tell she was furious with what Leon had done to me.

"I was born like this Sof, i don't get why everyone hates me because im human." I sobbed.

"Alpha or not, he has no right to treat you like that. I think i will cast a spell on him."

"No Sof, you cant." I said panicking because i knew she would do it too.

"Why not?, i can make him impotent for a few months or years."

"No you cant Sofia." I was now really panicking. "If he finds out he will behead you. Promise me that you will do no such thing." I begged her softly.

Sofia seeing my panicking mode, she quickly agreed. We went home. Upon entering the house we were instantly hugged by Aunt Maggie.

"Girls, i missed you so much." She said still hugging us tightly. You would think that she lastly saw us last year. We both smiled at her, knowing that she always does this whenever we sleep out or when she doesn't see us for a few hours. "Okay, have some food and get some rest. At day break the Alpha is holding a ceremony for himself and his mate." She continued.

Sofia and i exchanged confused glances and quickly did what she asked. And just as quickly day break arrived and all four us got into the car and went to the compound. We arrived and saw that most people had arrived and The Alpha and his family were sitting on the stage were everyone would be able to see. We took our seats. After a few minutes The Alpha got up and addressed us all.

"Hello everyone. Thank you for coming. Something big has happened to me, i have finally found my mate." He says.

At that everyone cheered and started clapping hands in excitement.

"Who is she Alpha?" someone in the crowd asked.

"Unfortunately its the little human." He replied.

To say i was shocked was an under statement. I didn't think he would say that to everyone. Apparently i was not the only one who was shocked, everyone fell silent and all eyes were on me. I felt the bitterness, judgement, resentment coming from everyone, well except for my family. My Uncle, Aunt and Sofia were looking at me with pain in their eyes.

"She cant be our Luna, Alpha. She is weak and human." Someone yelled in the crowd and sounds of approval were heard too. As if i was not already hurting, Leon's response hurt me the more.

"Yes i know that, Skye get over here." He demanded. I had no choice but to get up to the stage. When i was next to him he faced the people and continued, "She is weak, pathetic and human. I also don't like that she is my mate, so im going to reject her infront of all of you today and forge a new bond with Monalisa." At that everyone cheered and i felt like i was being stabbed in my chest.

He faced me and said, "I Alpha of the Crescent Moon pack reject you Skye James, you are not fit to be my mate."

The pain in my chest increased to the point of making my vision blur. Sofia ran to the stage and hugged me to her. I could not walk away because the pain was too much. If it was not for Sofia i would have fallen. Everyone cheered when The Alpha rejected me.

Leon continued to call the Pack's priest and asked him to perform his ceremony with Monalisa. He didn't even check if i was okay. After all the one who was rejected is the one who feels immense pain because the bond will be breaking from their side. And the one who rejected is left with an empty feeling. Like a code without connecting to the other half. Or at least thats how it was explained to me. Thou i have to say it probably wasn't true because Leon looked happy and content. He held Monalisa's hands and he bit her on her neck. And her vise versa to him to forge the bond. Monalisa was smirking because she knew she had won. Everyone cheered for them. And that's when i gathered up my courage and went up to them. The pain was now bearable but my heart was still breaking.

"I Skye James reject you Leon." Everyone gasped at my announcement, apparently they were expecting me to agree to everything silently, well not anymore. "Actually you are the one who does not deserve me, you are just not worth it." I continued and the compound was now silent. Only crickets were heard. Suddenly Sofia gasped and i looked at her in confusion. She of all people should be happy that i stood up for myself.

"What is it Sof?" I ask.

"Your eyes." She answers in an awed and shocked voice. What the hell was going on?

"What about them?"

"They were glowing purple." She says. I looked back at Leon and his family, they had shocked faces too. I think they had seen the purple glow that Sofia was talking about. Thou i didn't understand what it meant. I started walking away, just when i was about to get of the stage, i turned around and bowed in respect to Leon.

"Congrats Alpha. I hope your Luna makes you and everyone happy, after all she isn't human." With that i got off the stage and went straight to the car. My family followed soon after.

I had made a decision when Leon rejected me infront of everyone.

"Uncle, Aunt and Sofia, thank you so much for being the best family i could ever ask for but i need to leave this pack now. I want to find my own way." I could tell they were shocked with my decision but no one interfered with my plan because they knew what i have gone through. After we arrived Sof helped me to pack my things and i was given some money, it was enough to book me a flight and take care of me for a few months until i get on my two feet. We arrived at the airport and i told them that i would call as soon as i know where im going. They agreed, we hugged and sobbed.

After they went away, i went and bought a ticket to New York. Luckily the last flight had a few more minutes left before take off, i quickly made my way to the plane. Towards my new life.
