The Happiest Day of My Life
Kaia
Marcus couldn’t have been more handsome, nor I more blissful. He was the ideal man, the heartthrob of the pack, the envy of all the young girls who competed for his attention—and among all of them, I was the one chosen by the Goddess to become his mate.
“Where had you been all this time, mate?” he asked me as soon as we saw each other.
“I landed from my flight just a few hours ago,” I replied, my cheeks flushed. “I just came back from university, graduated in Business Administration.”
“And how is it that, all this time, being the daughter of our Beta, I had never seen you?”
The question made me blush even more, because I had been seeing Marcus ever since we were teenagers at the pack’s high school, and it hurt to watch him charm all the popular girls, who melted for him because he was the Alpha’s son.
“I’m sure we crossed paths at some party or ceremony, but since we hadn’t received our wolves…”
“That doesn’t matter anymore,” he said with a wide smile that melted me instantly. “Because you’re right. Our wolves have recognized each other, and that’s what matters now.”
I still couldn’t believe it. I had just returned home, greeted my parents, showed them my degree, the gown, the photos and videos from graduation, we made a toast—and two seconds later, I felt Ceres, my wolf, begin to stir strongly, as if she had just foreseen the arrival of someone very important.
“Alpha Damian honors us with his visit,” my father said as he looked out the window at the luxury car that had just parked in front of our house. “Daughter, Kaia, please take care of young Marcus.”
My heart nearly leapt out of my chest upon hearing that the most popular boy in the entire pack—the most handsome, athletic, and charming of all—would be in my house, and just to celebrate my return and graduation. But if I thought that would be the greatest happiness I’d receive that day, it was because I hadn’t seen him yet.
We recognized each other at first sight.
“Marcus…” I exclaimed as I opened the door, not even noticing that his father, Alpha Damian, was standing in front of me, waiting for the courtesy of my bow.
“Mate…” he answered immediately. “But how…?”
The Alpha faded into the background for both of us. We only had eyes for each other.
“Is it you? Is this real?” Marcus said as he nearly bumped into his father to get closer to me.
“It’s me,” I said with a smile that barely fit on my face.
After that, I remembered the presence of our Alpha, offered my apologies, and counted the seconds to finish the formalities and go out to the garden to talk with my mate.
“This is incredible. I still can’t believe it,” he said, taking my hand when we finally sat alone in the garden.
“I’m still in shock,” I admitted. “Did you know I liked you when we were in high school?”
That confession was known only to my diary. Not even my mother knew. Not even Evelyn, my cousin and lifelong best friend. But now that it was real—that I had the crush of my life in front of me and knew he was my mate—I wanted to shout it to the whole world.
“Really? Well, I’m not surprised—I had many admirers.”
“But I swear I was the one who admired you the most, even though you… well, it doesn’t matter now, because now it’s just you and me.”
“Just you and me, Kaia, my mate.”
“Just you and me, Marcus, my mate.”
We didn’t hold back anymore and kissed. We devoured each other, tasted each other’s lips, and before I knew it, we were sneaking upstairs to my room—the one I hadn’t entered in more than five years, but that my mother had kept just as it was the day I left, still a teenager.
“I’m sorry,” I said when I saw the boy band posters and stuffed animals on my bed. “I hadn’t been in here since I left.”
“It’s adorable,” Marcus said. “It’s almost like going back to high school.”
I blushed, but he took my hand and gently led me to the bed, where we sat to keep kissing. Ceres howled with excitement, joyful, filled with the same jubilation that shattered my heart and filled my stomach with butterflies.
“Are we going to do it?” I asked when I caught my breath and noticed he was already rushing to lift my blouse.
“Why not? We’re mates. We’ve already recognized each other, and I assume you’re not going to reject me.”
I smiled.
Of course I wasn’t going to reject him. How could I?
I also took his shirt and began unbuttoning it. He was exactly as I had imagined—tanned, broad chest, strong, muscular arms—the best athlete in high school, the quarterback I had sighed for so long, my impossible made real, in my room, surrounded by all the posters and stuffed toys that had witnessed the long sighs Marcus had pulled from my chest and the heavy tears I shed every time I learned he had a new girlfriend.
By the time he removed my bra, my n*****s were so hard they hurt, and I knew I was as wet as his tongue, which began to trail along my neck. My hands held his head, running through that rebelliously styled hair no other guy could match. And now he was mine—not just as a boyfriend or a fleeting romance, but as my mate, my destined partner, my companion, my soon-to-be husband and Alpha.
The man who would be with me for the rest of my life.
“I guess you met several guys at university,” he whispered as he pulled down my panties.
I blushed so deeply that he noticed.
“No, none. I was so focused on my studies… you’re going to be the first, mate. You’re going to be the first.”
He answered with a smile that made me want to kiss him, and he raised my arms to gently lay me back on the bed. After the kiss, he began to explore my whole body with his tongue, stopping at my breasts, then at my navel, and finally at my c**t, which he began to lick like the experienced Alpha he was, making my hands grip the sheets to keep from screaming in pure pleasure and drawing the attention of my parents, who must have been downstairs on the first floor, attending my future father-in-law.
“I want to as well,” I whispered in his ear as I pulled him toward me after he had given me the best pleasure of my life… up to that moment.
“There’s nothing I want more, mate.”
His member was enormous and as firm as an iron rod, as well as hot and glistening. I took it into my mouth with a restrained longing that I began to release as my tongue moved along it, drawing from him sighs of genuine pleasure.
“Now I want to take you, mate,” he whispered against my ear.
I was so wet that no further preparation was needed, and his member entered with a smoothness that even surprised me. I had desired him so much that when I felt him inside me, I had to cling to his neck to keep from crying out in pleasure. We looked at each other with so much tenderness and passion that I released two orgasms, one after the other, while he came inside me.
“Mate, I love you,” he exclaimed when he finished releasing all his seed inside me.
I embraced him and remained joined to his body, naked and warm, until I heard my mother calling us.
“Will we tell them?” I asked.
“Of course we’ll tell them.”
He kissed me, and in that moment, I was the luckiest woman in the world, especially when I received a personal message from Alpha Damian:
"Kaia Kent, I'd like to meet with you in my office. We need to talk."
It was a done deal. Marcus had spoken with his father.
Very soon I would become the Moon of Green Moon.
