Nikali POV

I woke all the guys up early so we could move all the furniture into the nursery before rose woke I wanted it to be surprise I want to take as much stress as possible. Where just putting the finishing touches to the nursery the cribs in the middle off the room it’s perfect it all matches. The guys did a good job the curtains and blinds are being put up we decided on a grey blind and blue curtains with elephants on them.

“Good job guys it looks perfect rose will love it”

“Rose will love what” that sweet voice. The guys all look at each other we were so busy we didn’t hear her wake.

“The nursery” she comes through the door and stops in the door say her mouth open.

“You finished it” she looks around the room the guys are just staring waiting for her reaction.

“It’s perfect” her voice breaks and she wipes the few tears that have fallen. I pull her closer to me and wrap my arms around her. I no she’s not upset she’s happy she loves the nursery.

The guys have left us alone to get the girls and start making breakfast. Rose is looking around the room she stops by the window and looks out at the woods that surrounds the pack lands. I walk to stand behind her I place my arms around her waist she leans into my touch.

“How much danger am I in?” She turns in my arms looking straight me. I look into her eyes not wanting to lie to her but also not wanting to cause her stress.

“I don’t know the answer to that. We don’t know the Alfa that is after you how far away or how close he is we just keep getting threatening messages Jordan worked to track where it came from but came back with nothing” she doesn’t say anything she turns back to the window looking out into the woods.

Rose’s POV

The nursery is amazing they did a good job but I can’t stop thinking off the threat lingering in the background am I safe here am I safe anywhere? I no Nikali will do his best in protecting me but what happens if they find away to get around it to get to me. If I’m gone what will happen to my baby? What will happen to Nikali? Will he move on without me? Will he look for me?

‘It’s not going to happen!’ My wolf spits

‘How do you know?’

‘Nik will protect us!’ She moves back to the back. I like how’s she’s so confident. If this Alfa want me he could easily get me.

We haven’t even discussed baby names it’s the only thing left to decide before our baby is born I’ve been thinking off baby names. I’ve chosen a few that I really like.

“Come lets get you fed” Nikali says pulling me towards the door.

“Can we discuss baby names?”

“Yes over breakfast” his smile grows he excited. I hope he likes the few names I’ve chosen.

I sit at the island while Nikali makes breakfast I can hear for steps coming down the hall I wonder if it’s the guys. I don’t have to wonder for long as Jordan and Micheal walk through the door and take seats next to me.

“I thought you guys had already eaten?” I ask

“We did but I’m starving and Nikali’s cooking” Jordan shrugs. Micheal just laughs. Nikali just rolls his eyes and starts making more batter.

“Rose eats first!” He says pouring batter into the pan.

“Of course” Jordan states.

Nikali finishes making breakfast and we all start to eat it’s quiet for awhile so I decide to break the silence.

“What baby names have you thought about?”

“Ohh are we throwing names?” Jordan asks a smile on his face.

“No!” Me and Nikali say at the same time, Jordan pouts but goes back to his food.

“What names are you thinking off baby?”

“I would like to use my fathers name? Either his first or maybe his second name?” The hall stare at me I know what their thinking cause I’ve got two there unsure off which one I’m referring too.

“Tobias?” Micheal asks

“Yes”

“I like it. What about the middle name?”

“I thought you could pick that one” he thinks for a few moments his suggestion surprises me.

“Ryan” I sit and stare at him that’s my adoptive dads name. I can feel the tears threatening I try to push them back but it’s no use. Micheal pulls me into a hug while Jordan squeezes my hand both earning a growl from Nikali.

“Wow dude calm down she’s our Luna” Jordan says

“Sorry Niks abit protective now she’s carry our pup” he walks around the island and pulls me into his arms.

“I’m sorry baby i didn’t mean to upset you” he whispers into my ear. I shake my head wiping my tears away.

“You didn’t. That was my dads name Im shocked I didn’t think you knew” he wipes my tears away and pulls my chin so I’m looking into his eyes.

“You told me on our first date. I think the name is a good name our baby deserves to be named after both off your fathers one sacrificed his life to save you and the other one brought you up”

“Sounds perfect” he pecks my cheek and we all go back to our food.

The next few days go by calmly Nikali had some pack business to take care off I barely saw him he would come home late and get up early he’s been on edge since he got that email. I spent sometime with Taylor maya and niaya we watch some films and talked about baby things Maya was excited for the baby’s arrival.

Nikali and the boys are staying at the pack house tonight ready for the wedding all the girls are staying with me. Leo and Luca arrived today Nikali requested to have a meeting with them but after we caught up he asked if I’d settled in alright and how I was liking it. I’m currently sat in my pjs in the living area listening to maya and Taylor argue over what movie to watch Taylor and maya had planned a girly night why the boys did their thing.

“What about after?” Taylor asked

“Ok I’ll settle it’s a good film” maya replies.

Taylor puts the film on and we all snuggle on the couch with junk food and blankets.

Nikali POV

It was nice seeing the smile on roses face when Leo and Luca arrived she missed them although I still don’t understand the relationship between her and Luca but I try not to think to much into it they’ve been through so much together they are just friends she’s going to become my wife tomorrow and she’s carrying my pup.

I had a meeting with my head tracker fighter Leo Luca Kyle Jordan Micheal and Dylan to fill in Leo and Luca about what was happening. Leo was not impressed about the email had received I upped my security to ensure nobody could get past the border and we will be informed straight away.

I’m currently sat in the games room in the pack house with the guys wolfs don’t usually do human wedding traditions but I wanted to make tomorrow special. The guys were arguing about what games we should play when we all got together no one ever agrees so I decide to make the decision.

“why don’t we play poker?”

“That the best idea yet” Jordan says

“Not really money though” Kyle replies

“Scared you’d lose gamma” Micheal teases he’s good at poker he has a good poker face.

“No!” Kyle scoffs

We set up and start to play we are currently on our third game Kyle’s won one Michael’s won and I have won we decided on face money as it’s just for fun. We play way into the night when I start to feel uneasy nik has been pacing for about an hour.

‘Check on mate!’ I start to get anxious when a wave off panic curses through me only it’s not from me. I stand from the table all the guys a look at me Jordan and Micheal rush to me.

“Nikali what’s wrong?” Jordan asks

“Nik senses something wrong he’s been nagging me to check on rose for an hour but I just felt rose panic through the bond I think Somethings wrong”

“Let’s go”

I dash out the room all the guys following behind me it’s only a twenty five minute walk back home Nik still pacing in my mind.

Rose POV

After three films we all decide to head to bed I say good night to the girls and head to bed I’m exhausted I make it to the bedroom I climbed into bed it’s not late just past ten soon as my head hits the pillow it doesn’t take me long to fall to sleep. I’m suddenly woken by a nice in the room I sit up in bed and look around the room but don’t see anything I notice the window is open but I don’t remember opening it.

I climb out off bed to s**t the window once closed I make my way back to the bed when suddenly I’m pulled into someone’s hard chest one hand around my waist the other around my mouth I can feel their hot breath in my neck.

“Hello rose” the mysterious person whispers into my ear.

“Don’t scream or I’ll kill your pup got it” I nod tears forming he removes his hand from around my mouth but not the one around my waist.

“Who are you?” I ask i look over at the clock it’s just past midnight. Nikali’s not coming back tonight I start to panic.

“That doesn’t matter your coming with me” he leads us to the window picks me up bridal style and jumps he lands on his feet and starts to run, tears falling down my face I hope Nikali feels something wrong,

‘He does he’s on his way’ Rae my wolf says

‘How do you know?’

‘Nik told me he felt you panic’ I hope he makes it before it’s too late.

We reach the border and a black suv waiting a man waiting beside one. He’s the man from my parents house of course it’s his father who wants me!

“Dad she’s pregnant still”

“Son don’t question me. Get in the car”

The younger man opens the door and Im shoved into the back the man who kidn*pped me gets in and the his son gets in the front, I open my link to Nikali hoping he’s not far.

“Nikali help!”

“Rose where are you? What’s happening?”

“At the border. Their k********g me hurry” I aloud growl comes from behind us in the trees i know it’s Nikali I can feel him close but he’s not going to make it.

“Step on it” the older man says and the car speeds off. I can feel Nikali getting further away and I can’t help the tears from falling.

Nikali POV

I make it to the house it’s quiet the girls must all be in bed I decide to go straight to my wing to check on rose I tell the others to check their mates. I reach my room the doors closed Joey and James still outside.

“Rose in there?”

“Yes Alfa”

I open the door it’s dark and the windows open rose must of gotten hot and opened it I walk over and close it when the link between me and rose opens.

“Nikali help!”

“Rose where are you? What’s happening?” I didn’t even see she wasn’t in the bed. s**t!!

“At the border. Their k********g me hurry” I open the window jump out and shift running toward the border I link Jordan and Micheal and they meet me at the border I can see three black suvs I growl loudly they speed off we take to running after them but it’s too late.

“Rose I will find you my love. I love you” I say through the link before the suvs disappear. I can feel rose getting further away. I feel empty. I shift back and fall to the ground I lost my mate and pup.

“Nikali we will get them back” Jordan says from behind me.

“Get everyone at the pack house I want to know how they got in and out with out being seen!”

“Yes Alfa”

I shift back into my wolf and make my way to the pack house. Taking the shirts that Jordan hands me once I’m dressed I make my way to the dining hall where my pack is waiting the room is quiet. I’m not sure how to tell my pack that their queen has been kidn*pped. Sensing that I’m struggling Jordan starts.

“Royal pack I would like to thank you all for attending. King Nikali called this meeting because we have disappointing news our queen has been kidn*pped” their are a series of gasps and growls. Roses old pack mates are here Maya is crying Luca is angry and so is Leo and all I can think about is getting rose home and safe.

“We need the patrol and warriors that are stationed out side my house tonight! They got in and out without alerting us” I addressed my pack my patrol and warriors step forward.

“Thank you all for attending please if their are any updates we will let you all know. Meeting dismissed” everyone said their goodbyes and left. Leaving me Micheal Jordan roses pack mates and my fighters and patrols.

“Can someone please tell me how they managed to get access to my house without being seen?”

“Alfa we had our best stationed outside we are not sure how they managed to breach the borders” my head patrol says.

“Figure it out and don’t let it happen again!” I growl. He bows his head and leaves with his men. I pace backs and forth I need a plan I need to find out who that Alfa is. I need to call and Alfa meeting.

“Jordan call and Alfa meeting I want every Alfa in that meeting and I want it tomorrow!”

“Yes Alfa” he bows his head and walks out the room.

Leo makes his way over to me his face expressionless he’s trying to hold himself together for the girls.

“What’s the plan Nikali?” He asks but I’m not sure what the plan is I’m stuck.

“You said she would be safe here and now she’s gone!” Luca seethes.

“I had my best stationed outside I have no idea how they got in or out without being detected”

“Your best that’s why they got in your best my a*s! She was safe we’re she was!”

“Luca enough!” Leo shouts. Luca huffs and walks out.

“I’m sorry. I’m so sorry!” I say collapsing to the floor my hands over my face. I have no idea what to do I need to get rose back I’m breaking without her.

“Nikali it’s not your fault we all knew rose was in danger you did all you could” maya say’s kneeling in front off me.

“She’s right it’s not your fault. Luca just needs to calm down but we need a plan” Leo says.

“I have set up the Alfa meeting hoping to see if anyone’s missing hopefully that will narrow it down”

He nods and we start to make a plan for the Alfa meeting Jordan comes back with all the names off the Alfas that will be attending and the ones that still need to confirm. We make preparations for refreshments and rooms they’ll be staying in if they won’t to. By the time we have all finished it’s late I decide to stay at the pack house ready for the arrival of the Alfas.

I didn’t get much sleep last night I kept tossing and turning thinking off rose and is she safe or is she hurt did they hurt her. I will kill them all if they lay a finger on her. I’m going to kill the bastard that took her anyway but his pack I’ll have to decide what I’m going to do with that.

I decide to take a shower and get ready once I’m ready I make my way down stairs I grab a coffee and wait for everyone to arrive.

Rose’s POV

It’s dark everything’s dark I can’t move my hands their tied behind my back I’m on a bed it’s not cold. I can still feel my bond with Nikali but I’m to far to link him. I hope he’s looking for me. I need to stay calm for the baby I need to find a away out off here. I can hear voices coming from outside the door their getting closer. I can feel my heartbeat quicken I take few steady breaths.

I hear the click off the door opening don’t panic don’t panic stay calm I keep telling myself. The door closes and I can hear two sets off foot steps one stops at the foot off the bed the other stops just beside me.

“Turn the light on son” it’s my kidnapper. The light flicks on and wince I blink a few times for my eyes to adjust. I look around the room it’s beautiful and big a tall man stood at the end off my bed with his arms crossed over his chest he. Doesn’t look at all happy, he’s young probably my age tall he’s got dark hair grey eyes he smiles at me but it’s not a threatening I don’t feel afraid off him. I can feel a hand on my shoulder I move away looking at the person he’s older but the same features as the younger man but I feel uneasy around him. His gaze makes my skin crawl he goes to touch me again,

“Don’t touch me!”

“I’m not going to hurt you princess” his voice send shivers down my spine and not the good ones.

“What do you want from me?” Trying to stay strong as best I can.

“You and your power” he smirks.

“Father maybe I can talk to her alone?” I snapped my head to the younger man he sends me a smile before looking back.

“Sure I’ll be back in ten” he walks out the room leaving me and his son alone. He signs and sits on the edge.

“Queen rose, I’m sorry I didn’t want any off this to happen. I can help you”

“How? He’s your father he might kill you”

“There’s an Alfa meeting in three hours we’re attending I can talk to Nikali he’s arranged it just hang on” he smiles at and stands up he makes his way to the door.

“Thank you” it’s just a whisper but he heard me he opens the door and walks out closing the door behind him.

Nikali’s POV

Every Alfa has come not one hasn’t shown up my plan was unsuccessful. I glance around the table their must be at least thirty Alfas and future Alfas in this room I let Jordan make the speech while I look at the reactions of each Alfa holding they will give something away. One Alfa caught my attention he’s an older Alfa his son sitting next to him his son looks a little uneasy the Alfa he looks calm.

We decide to take a ten minute break I decide to make my way over to the future Alfa while his father is talking to a group off Alfas.

“Hi” I take a seat next to him I can feel the panic radiating off him.

“King Nikali” he bows his head

“You look nervous is their something on your mind”

“My king I have information is their a place we can talk in private” my breath hitches and clench my fists.

“Sure follow me” I lead him to my office i link Micheal to stand outside making sure no one comes in. Once seated I wait for him to begin but he doesn’t.

“What’s your name?”

“Johnathan”

“I know where she is”

“Where who is?” Is he talking about rose?

“The queen” I clench my jaw and my fists I can’t lose control he’s to young.

“WHO has her? Where is she? Is she safe?”

“My father kidn*pped her she’s safe at my pack nobody knows she’s their, I warned her he was coming he’s gone mad I should have killed him!” He clenches his jaw.

“Tell me your pack name? Why’s your father mad?” I ask my voice as calm.

“Bluemoon. He’s been mad since he lost my mother”

“Thank you. Your fathers name?”

“Alfa Elijah” I open my link to Jordan and tell him to escort the Alfa to the cells and to be guarded at all times.

“Thank you you can stay here until my queen is returned”

“Thank you she’s in the Alfa quarters”

“Has anyone touched her?”

‘I will break every bone in their body!’ Nik seethes.

“No”

“Thank you”

I make my way into the hall way Michael’s standing against the wall I take in a deep breath. He glances up at me I nod and We make our way back to the conference room.

“King Nikali why has your beta took Alfa Elijah?” Alfa Cole asks

“Alfas we have a lead to where my queen is being held. Alfa Elijah is the one who kidn*pped her” the room becomes quiet.

“Im going to retrieve my queen. The wedding and coronation will go ahead tonight as planned if my queen is well enough. Please you are all welcome to stay now if you will excuse me”

Rose’s POV

Nobody has been to see me since the man left i move to the window it’s a beautiful view I can see pack members walking around it’s peaceful they all look happy. Pups playing in a field smiling and laughing not a care in the world not knowing the dangers that lurk in their own pack. I look down at my bump it’s grown slightly since I’ve been here. I look back out the window everyone is rushing around they look frantic but I can’t hear what their saying. I look around the room to see if theirs anything I can use to get out of here.

‘Your hands are tied’ Rae scoffs

‘Nikali open your link’

I open my link but nothing I sign and look back out the window all the pack members are standing at the front off the pack house five black suvs pull up a flush off relief flows through my body. My brother steps out off one followed by Leo Luca and Kyle. Warriors step out of two and Micheal and Jordan step out the other one. Alfa Cole Alfa James and Nikali steps out the last. I can feel tears streaming down my face he’s here.

“Rose I can feel you baby I’m coming” Nikali says through the link.
