Nikali’s POV

After I dismissed the meeting I linked my warriors to meet me at the front with five suvs. I making my way to the suvs I meet Jordan and Micheal at the door, we need to make a plan just in case things don’t go as planned.

“what’s the plan?” Jordan asks

“Notify the beta that were visiting but don’t mention why”

“Yes alfa” Jordan heads back into the house, Leo Luca and Kyle walk over.

“We will come” Leo says

“you can take one off the suvs” They nod then walk away.

Jordan comes back with Alfa Cole, alfa James and Dylan following behind.

“my son and I would like to offer our help” alfa Cole asks.

“all the help is welcome you can ride with me”

“I’m coming” Dylan says

“You can ride with Leo thank you” he nods and walks over to Leo.

“The beta is expecting us” I nod and make my way to the front.

“Thank you everyone for offering your help, some warriors will be accompanying us just incase things don’t go as planned, please be ready incase they attack. Jordan has notified the beta that we are visiting but hasn’t gave details as to why” we all get into the suvs and start our journey.

The blue moon pack is about an hour away from my pack, my nerves are high I don’t know what condition she’s going to be in when I get there is the baby ok is she ok have they been looking after her according to the son him and his father are the only two aware that she’s there but it doesn’t make sense how did they get her in without anyone seeing her.

“ten minutes out alfa” Jordan links. The closer I get to rose the more nervous i get. I can feel her emotions through the bond which only adds to mine. I try to link her but she’s got her block up.

‘Nik can you feel Rae?’ I ask my wolf.

‘Yes she’s ok’ I breathe out and rub my hand down my face.

The journey has been quiet I felt like I was in the car for hours, Alfa Cole would glance my way here and there not muttering a word. Probably trying to read me, Ive known him most off my life he was one off my fathers closest friends I grew up with his son so he knows me very well, I bet he thought I’d lose control I wanted to but I needed rose safe I plan on torturing the s**t out off Elijah then he will go on trial for his crimes.

We arrive on blue moon territory, in the distance is a tall house to which I assume is the pack house.

As we get closer the pack are gathered around the streets. We pull up outside the building theirs a crowd off people standing around a tall man and a woman with a younger man are stood by the door off the building which I’m assuming is the beta his mate and their son. I let everyone exit their cars before I get out everyone bows their heads. The beta makes his way to me he bows his head.

“King Nikali nice to meet you” he greets

“Thank you for allowing us to visit, do you mind if we look around your pack house?”

“May I ask why?”

“We have information that someone is being held here. Is Your Alfa unwell?” I ask

“Here? Yes my Alfa has been unwell since we lost our Luna” he shakes his head and signs.

“We have the Alfa and his son in our pack”

“Why?” He asks.

“We will get to that we’re is the Alfas quarters?”

“Top floor” I nod and make my way in to the house. I link Jordan and tell him to not let anyone out off his sight.

As I get closer to the floor I can feel her she’s relieved she knows I’m here I link her I’m relieved when I’m link goes through.

“Rose baby I’m coming”

“Nikali?” Her voice her sweet voice. My strides become longer I want to get to her as fast as I can.

“I love you baby”

“I love you hurry” she’s just as relieved as I am.

I stop at a large double door, I open it her scent hits me it’s like an apartment I follow her scent to another set off doors I try the door handle but it’s locked. I link Jordan asking if the beta has a key. I wanted to beat down the door but I don’t I would have to pay for damages plus I didn’t want to cause more stress to rose.

The beta brings me the key to the door with my warriors close behind him. He looks confused as to why I asked for the key but doesn’t say anything. I unlock and open it I take a few steps my eyes roam the room looking for rose the rooms big. Shes stood by the window I walk further into the room she sniffs the air then looks my way I close the distance pulling her into my chest and holding her tight.

Rose’s POV

I hear his voice it’s calm I can sense him getting closer he’s come for me like he promised.

“Nikali?” I try to hold my emotions so my voice don’t c***k I need him to be calm to keep me calm.

“I love you baby”

“I love you hurry” my voice breaks as tears threaten I blink them back I need to stay strong until he gets here I just want to be in his arms.

I can hear movement outside the door the door handle jiggles but it’s locked. Then nothing it’s silent until I can hear foots steps approach the door but nobody talks not a word. I look out the window I can see everyone who came to rescue me and pack members from this pack they all seem confused as to why the king is here.

I’m broken out my thoughts by Nikali’s scent invading my senses I turn towards the door he walks in walking up to me he pulls me to his chest. I close my eyes and inhale his scent I can feel the tears falling I don’t try to stop them I’m relieved that he came for me.

He scoops me up bridal style I snuggle into his chest gripping his shirt it doesn’t take long for sleep to claim me. I feel safe I’m safe in my mates arms.

Nikali’s POV

She hugs me tight I can hear her soft sobs I just cradle her for awhile not wanting to let her go I hear her inhale my scent, she relaxes in my arms. After awhile I scoop her up she snuggles into my chest griping my shirt. It doesn’t take her long to fall asleep, exiting the room the beta looks confused he glances at a sleeping rose. I don’t say a word my warriors look relieved they follow behind me with the packs Beta behind them.

I reach the front porch Dylan spots me first making his way over to me he checks rose in my arms he relaxes slightly seeing her sleeping form.

“Is she ok?” He asks.

“Yes” he nods and walks towards the beta. Jordan and Micheal both make their way over to where I’m stood.

“Did you know your Alfa kidn*pped the queen?” Dylan asks he’s calm I was expecting him to be angry.

“No I had no idea I swear” the beta replies.

“What is your name?” I ask

“Aaron”

“Aaron i have the Alfas son how old is he?”

“He’s nineteen”

“Great I will return him to your pack and he will become Alfa I will do the ceremony myself” he looks relieved

“What about Alfa Elijah?” He asks.

“He will not be returning he kidn*pped the queen he will be punished. You will run this pack until the Alfa has his ceremony, you will report back to me daily”I state.

“Yes your highness” he bows his head.

“Two off my warriors will escort the Alfa back they stay until I return” he nods.

I make my way to the suv slipping into the back alfa Cole and James getting in after me the car starts we exit the pack grounds one hour and we’ll be back on royal grounds.

“Have the Alfas son escorted back with two warriors they are too stay until I return they are too report back daily” I link Jordan.

“Yes Alfa” he replies.

I look at roses sleeping form she looks peaceful her bump has grown a little while she’s been gone.

“Postpone the Coronation until further notice” I link Micheal.

“Yes Alfa is our queen ok?” He asks

“Yes tired out have the pack doctor at the house

“Yes Alfa” I close the link.

Rose starts to stir in my arms she doesn’t wake but clutches her bump I rub slow circles on her back but she doesn’t relax. Her eyes shoot open with a loud scream leaving her.

“What’s wrong?” I ask

“The baby” she says.

“Put your foot down” I yell to the driver.

She whimpers in my arms clutching her stomach we are about thirty minutes away I hope we make it in time.

“Everything ok Nikali?” Jordan links

“No I think theirs something wrong with the baby” I link back.

“Docs waiting” he links back.

I try soothing rose but she’s in to much pain she’s hunched over panting.

“He’s coming Nikali I’m not going to make it” she whimpers.

“It’s ok baby everything will be ok” i sooth

We pull up in front off the pack house alfa Cole and James exit the car followed by me and rose I place her on her feet the doc comes running out the house followed by Taylor and maya. Rose stands and whimpers.

“My water just broke” she says clinging to my arm. Doc makes his way towards us.

“Her water just broke” I say as he approaches us.

“I can see that. Stay calm she needs you now more than ever. Come let’s get you checked out”

He leads us into a room in the infirmary rose takes off her wet clothes and a nurse brings her a hospital gown. Once changed doc checks her over and tells her shes ready to push.

Rose’s POV

I’m woken up with searing pain in my stomach with a scream leaving my lips. Nikali asks what’s wrong I tell him it’s the baby I’m not sure what the pain is I just hope our baby is ok he tells the driver to put his foot down I whimper at the pain in my stomach it’s getting stronger. He tries soothing me but the pain is too much I tell him the baby’s coming and I don’t think we will make it he soothes me.

The car stops we made it to the pack I’m still snuggled into Nikali’s chest we pulls me out the car placing me on the floor my waters break as soon as my feet touch the floor. I look up at Nikali he’s looking down at me.

“My water just broke” I tell him, I can see him start to panic. He looks up from me I look in the direction he’s looking in doc is making his way towards us Nikali practically shouts at him.

“Her water just broke”

“I can see that. Stay calm she needs you now more than ever. Come let’s get you checked out” the doc tells Nikali. We follow him into a room in the infirmary I changed out my wet clothes putting a gown ob that the nurse brought in.

Doc checks me over telling me it’s time to push, Nikali takes my hand and kisses my forehead. On my next contraction I push and a burn like sensation in my woman hood the doc smiles up at me.

“The baby’s crowning one more push and he will be here your doing great” he says.

On my next contraction I push with all my energy nothing but screams from me fill the room until I stop pushing then the most beautiful sound fills the room the cry off my baby. Doc places him on my chest and he’s the most beautiful baby I’ve ever seen he looks the spitting image off Nikali. He’s got Nikali’s nearly black hair and his blue eyes I glance up at Nikali he’s smiles down at me tears rolling down his cheeks he kisses my cheek.

“I’m so proud off you baby” he says

“He looks just like you” I say.

“He’s beautiful just like his mummy”

I feed the baby and burp him then pass him to Nikali so he can cuddle with his son before we have visitors. He looks so small in Nikali’s arms, Nikali smiling down at our son we have been through so much in the last twenty four hours Nikali looks like he hasn’t slept a wink.

I’m brought out my thoughts with a small knock on the door doc peeks his head through Nikali motions for him to come in, he stands at the edge off the bed.

“Your highness how are you feeling?” Doc asks

“Good thank you” I reply

“Good and congratulations. I would like to observe you for the next two hours then you can go home”

“Thank you doc are we aloud visitors?” I ask

“Yes you have some waiting. Who would you like in first?” He asks

“Who’s out there?”

“Beta Jordan, gamma Micheal, Alfa Leo, Luna Taylor beta Luca, gamma Kyle, gamma maya, Alfa Dylan, and luna niaya” s**t that’s a lot off people. I look at Nikali he just shrugs and smiles.

“Send Jordan and Micheal in please” he nods and heads out the door. Nikali raises an eyebrow.

“What?” I ask

“I thought you’d have maya first” he shrugs.

A knock on the door Jordan pops his head through I wave for him to come in he walks in with Micheal trailing behind him.

“Rose how are you feeling?” Jordan asks

“I’m good thank you”

“Good and congratulations both off you”

“Thank you, would you like to hold?” Nikali asks Jordan smiles and nods Nikali places him in his arms and makes his way over to me and Jordan sits where Nikali was.

“How much did he weigh?” Micheal asks

“7lb 7oz a good size” Nikali says.

“Congratulations both off you he’s beautiful” Micheal says. After a while Jordan passes Micheal the baby they both have a cuddle when they leave I ask for my brother and naiya. A few seconds later my brother walks into the room and comes straight to my side.

“You look good rose motherhood suites you” he says

“Thank you Dylan would you like to hold?” He smiles and nods I pass him the baby he’s going to be a brilliant uncle.

“What’s his name?” Dylan asks. Nikali looks at me and I nod.

“Tobias Ryan wright” Dylan’s head shoots straight to me tears brimming his eyes.

“Dads name” I nod i can feel the tears falling Dylan pulls me in for hug he kisses my cheek.

“He would be proud” Dylan says.

We talk for awhile until Dylan has too leave we spend time with maya and the rest. Maya cries and keeps hugging me like I’m going to disappear. Leo keeps telling me how proud he is and that we will make good parents luca and kyle also tell me how proud they are we say our good byes leaving just me and Nikali alone with our baby.

Nikali’s POV

We’ve been home a few days it’s been amazing rose is amazing she has settled into motherhood. I’ve been at home since Tobias was born, today is my first day back to my duties. Rose is in the living area feeding Tobias the house is quiet Alfa Leo had to go back to his pack.

“You going to be ok?” I ask leaning over the back off the couch.

“Yes honey” she smiles up at me.

“Ok baby link me if you need anything” I kiss her cheek and make my way out the door and to the cells where Jordan and Micheal are waiting for me.

The walk to the pack house is quiet all I can think about is rose and Tobias, as I reach the pack house I go to the left side where the door to the cells are I open the door and phead down the stairs it doesn’t smell bad it has a clean smell we don’t keep prisoners down here long a few weeks until we decide the correct punishment.

Walking down the hall Jordan is standing by a metal door with Micheal on the other side.

“Has he spoken?” I ask Jordan.

“Not a word” he replies.

I open the door I make my way over to the Alfa he’s chained to the wall with silver. He looks up at me sneers and spits on the ground near my feet I raise an eyebrow.

“Disrespect will get you nowhere Elijah” I spit.

He laughs and bows his head. “That good enough for you your majesty?”

“You will answer my questions then your punishment will be given” this time I smirk at his reaction to my words.

“Go head” he says.

“How did you kidnap my mate?”

“Easy! A distraction”

“Why did you do it?”

“I wanted power!”

“Your mad! If you ever thought you’d get away with it” I seethe. Nik coming through a little.

“I was going to kill her and take your pup!”

‘Kill him!! KILL HIM!!’ Nik shouts in my head.

I can feel him breaking through fur sprouting out my arms and legs he wants control he threatened to kill his mate and kidnap his pup. The sound off my bones breaking echos through the cell.

“s**t!” I hear from behind me.

All I can see is red as nik takes full control off my body i recede into the back as nik takes control. He looks up at Elijah he’s shaking and yelling at my beta and gamma for help nik is taking no chances he wants blood and to make sure he will no longer come for his mate and pup.

He’s fast he pounces clawing his limbs off one by one while he begs for his life but it’s no use the only fate he deserves is death. Nik stands over his lifeless body blood covering the walls and our fur coat. He recedes giving me control back. Jordan hands some shorts.

“s**t! Nikali this is the worst I’ve ever seen it.” Micheal says.

“Nik was angry!” I state.

“Remind me to never piss him off” Jordan laughs.

“Get Someone to clean this up”

“What about the body?”

“Ship it back to the pack as a reminder to not cross me!” Nik spits coming through.

“Yes Alfa” Jordan and Micheal both bow.

‘Was that really needed’ I ask nik.

‘Back to mate!’ Nik says

“I’m heading back to rose nik needs calming call me if you need me” they both bow and i make my way home.

Rose’s POV

Nikali left to deal with business, I decide to wash and clean the baby’s clothes and put everything away even though Nikali insists on having someone else do it but I like doing it gives me something to do while Tobias naps. I decide to make my self something to eat at lunch nothing special just a turkey salad sandwich. After I’ve eaten and cleaned up it’s time for Tobias feed the breastfeeding is great and Nikali is so supportive which makes it easier.

Once Tobias is done with his feed I decide to watch a film while I wait for the washer to finish. I must have dozed off as I’m woken to a set off soft hands on my waist. I open my eyes I’m snuggled into Nikali’s chest he’s laid next to me on the couch. I didn’t hear him come home and he’s freshly showered. I run my hand over his bare chest feeling muscles he takes a deep breathe.

“Carry on doing that and you’ll have another pup in you” his voice husky.

“Hmm” I bite my lip he pulls me closer nuzzling my neck

“Rose” he whispers against my neck

“Hmm Hmm” I nod my hand travelling down his chest. He pulls up so his face his in-line with me he looks from my lips to my eyes and back again but he doesn’t close the distance.

I turn us around so I’m laying on top off him I look into his eyes and smash my lips against his in a sweet passionate kiss. His hands roam over my body feeling every part like he hasn’t touched me before. He scoops me up not breaking the kiss it becomes hungry with need the need for each other he makes his way to the bedroom pressing me against the door I gasp at the contact and pull away slightly remembering Tobias is napping.
