Rose’s POV

I wake the room quite Nikali still soundly asleep next to me I look over at the clock it’s five am. ‘I’ll go for a run’ I think to myself I change into my workout clothes and put my trainers on. I make my way to out the door my two guards outside my door I turn to them.

“If your going to follow me around I want to know your names” I say they both smile both male one has dark curly hair and blue eyes and the other blonde short hair with green eyes.

“I’m James” the blonde one says

“I’m joey” the brown one says

“We’ll James and joey looks like you will be accompanying me and maya to the mall later. And I’m going for a run now” I say they both nod and follow me on my run. I was surprised that they both kept up with me on my run once back at the pack house I sit on one of the seat on the porch. Both stood against the railings off the porch out off breath.

“Luna you run fast” James says joey nods in agreement.

“Looks like I might need to train Nikali’s pack to be better runners and fighters” they both laugh. I make my way into the house the smell off food meets my nostrils. Hmm it smells good. I look at the clock it’s just past six breakfast won’t be ready till seven so I make my way to my room to shower and change. Just as I get to my door I stop and look back joey and James right behind me.

“Guys go shower and change I’ll be safe with Nikali” they both look at each other about to say something when the door opens and Nikali peeks out. We all stare at him.

“Guys go I’ll be with Nikali” I say

“Alfa” I interrupt them “Nikali tell them to shower and change. I’ll be safe with you in the room” I say looking at Nikali he looks at them his eyes glass over then go back to normal.

“Go Jordan’s on his way. You can excuse him when you return” Nikali says they both nod and make there way down the hall way to their room. I walk into our room.

“I’m going to shower”

“Hmm..mind if I join?” Nikali ask walking up behind me his hand around my waist.

“We do have time” I say he nips my mark making me moan. He spins me around earning a squeak from me. Before I can say anything his lips crash into mine He picks me up I wrap my legs around his hips he shuts the door and puts the water on not breaking the kiss. He trails kisses down my neck to my mark he sucks and nips my mark making me moan. He pulls my sports b*a off and pulls my leggings and underwear off I pull his boxers off releasing his already erect member. He moves us into the shower the warm water trickling down our bodies. He crashes his lips back on mine placing one hand on the back off my next the other around my back picking me up I wrap I’m legs around his waist. Once showered and dressed we make our way down for breakfast. Everyone is seated and eating I sit and Nikali fills my plate. “How are you rose” Bonnie asks.

“I’m good thank you” I reply she smiles and goes back to her breakfast the table is quieter than usual.

“Is something wrong?” I ask they all look to Nikali he signs. “Rose after breakfast we will talk” I nod and go back to my breakfast hungrier than I normally am. I try not read to much into it maybe it’s because I used most of my energy last night. After breakfast me Nikali Jordan Micheal bonnie Caleb Leo and me make our way to Leo’s office. Once seated Jordan looks around the room not meeting my gaze I look at Nikali he watching Jordan closely. “We’ll seems like I’m telling you the news that Jordan and Micheal fount out” Nikali says. “Is this about my brother?” I ask

“Your brother?” Bonnies asks

“Yes I asked Jordan to find any information about him to see if he was alive or dead”

“I see and did you find anything” she asks looking towards Jordan who is still looking anywhere but in our direction.

“Yes he did. Rose.” Nikali says getting my attention.

“Your brother his alive!” I look directly at Jordan stunned At what just came out his mouth did he actually say my brother is alive?

“Alive?” I ask

“Dylan is alive? How is that possible?” Bonnie asks

“Yes he’s alive. He was at Alfa training Alfa Tobias made all the arrangements before the war to ensure that Dylan wasn’t on pack lands when it happened also one off the alfas from and allied pack took him in when they perished. I have been in contact with the Alfa he has asked if he can visit he was one of the alfas that attended the ball but his son came as he took over the pack recently” Jordan explains.

“Yes have him come we need all the answers we can get if Roses brother is alive then he’s the only family she has left” Leo says Jordan nods and pulls his phone out dialling a number he puts the phone to his ear it ring twice and a man’s voice comes through the speaker.

“Hello” Jordan says

“Hello beta Jordan”

“Alfa James. I was ringing to see if I can speak to your father?”

“Yes one second” Alfa James he sounds familiar. I look at Nikali.

“Alfa James?” I ask Nikali

“Yes Alfa James and Luna grace from the ball” he looks up at Jordan.

“Tell the Alfa his son is welcome but to leave luna grace at home she’s not to come after the incident at the ball!” Nikali says. Jordan nods.

“Beta Jordan” another man says through the phone.

“Alfa Cole. I’m ringing about Dylan?” Jordan says

“Ahh yes young Dylan. When can I come?”

“Alfa Leo has granted you entrance onto his land. Your son is welcome too but I have orders from the king to leave his Luna at home she made quite the scene at the ball”

“Ahh yes my son said. Thank you me and my son will be with you in the next three hours”

“Thank you Alfa”

“Bye beta” Jordan put the phone back in his pocket.

“Rose we have training” bonnie says

“Yes where do we go?” I ask

“Theirs a room in the basement you can you use” Leo says

“Thank you” I reply. I lead bonnie to the basement to the room Leo said we could use. It’s a big room no windows no furniture carpet on the floor.

“We will sit in the middle” bonnie says making her way to the middle she sits and I sit in front off her. I cross my legs and take a deep breath.

“We’re going to start by channeling your powers we will start we an easy emotion happiness. Close your eyes and think off something that makes you really happy” I do as she says and close my eyes my mind instantly goes to Nikali.

“That’s it Rose keep hold off that happiness” I can feel my body start to tingle not to uncomfortable but a strange feeling. We sit like that for awhile.

“That’s all for today rose. You did amazing”

“What does happiness do?” I ask

“Happiness is they key to your healing ability same with love” she replies

“So what does anger do?”

“When you feeling sad or angry it can go one or two ways. You can loose control or you can Chanel it to defend your self. That’s what we will be doing tomorrow” I nod and we make our way back to the living room we’re everyone is seated.

Nikali makes his way over to me with Caleb right behind him.

“How did it go?” Caleb asks

“It went really well” bonnie answers.

“I’m going to see if mayas ready to go shopping” I say to Nikali he gives me a quick peck on the cheek and I walk to find Maya. I look everywhere but I still haven’t fount her. So I decide to mindlink her.

“Maya?”

“Rose”

“You ready to go shopping?”

“Yes I’ll be right with you” I block the link. I make my way back to Nikali. He’s still in the living area with Caleb and bonnie. Nikali notices me and makes his way towards me.

“Here rose take my card” he hands me his card I thank him and take the card.

“Are james and joey coming with me and maya?”

“No just James” I nod in response.

Nikali’s POV

Three hours rose is still shopping with maya, Alfa Cole and Alfa James have passed through the border they should arrive at the pack house in the next thirty minutes. I was hoping rose would be back in time to be here for the meeting.

“Nikali do you think we should reschedule the meeting?” Jordan my beta asks

“I’ll mindlink James see if their on their way back first” I open my mindlink to James.

“James?”

“Yes Alfa?”

“Are you and the girls on your way back Alfa Cole will be here in thirty minutes”

“Yes we’re nearly at the pack house”

“Great” I shut off the link and turn back to Jordan.

“No need to reschedule their nearly here”

“Ok. Alfa Cole is about twenty minutes I will gather the rest and meet in the living area” I nod. Hearing a car pull into the drive way I make my way over to the front porch. James gets out the car opening the back seat offering his hand to rose she takes it I can’t help the low growl that comes from my throat I make my way over to her pulling her to my chest.

“Did you have a good afternoon?”

“Yes we had fun thank you for paying” she gives me a kiss on the cheek.

“Good I’m glad” I let her go her and maya make their way into the house. I make my way over to James who’s emptying the trunk.

“Do you know which ones are roses and which ones are mayas?” I ask

“Yes I’ll take them up to the rooms Alfa”

“Ok once you’ve done, take the rest off night off”

“Yes Alfa” James grabs the bags and goes inside. I make my way up to the front doors when I hear a car pull up the drive way. Leo come out the door with Luca and Kyle with my beta and gamma following behind them we all wait on the porch for alfa Cole and his son to get out the car.

Alfa Cole gets out the car and makes his way over his son following, Leo walking to greet them with his beta and gamma in tow.

“Welcome alfa Cole alfa James” Leo greets they shake hands. The two alfas make their way over to we’re I’m stood.

“Your highness” they bow.

“Alfa Cole alfa James, thank you for coming”

“Anything for our queen” alfa Cole replies

“Shall we go in the ladies are waiting” Leo suggests. We make our way into the house to the living area. Everyone sit on the couches I pull rose close to my side. Taylor brings in drinks and snacks as we get ready for our meeting.

“Thank you Taylor” Alfa Cole thanks Taylor.

“So my brother?” Rose gets right to the point. She’s a little nervous I can feel it.

“Yes Dylan” he looks down at his hands.

“He left about a year ago we haven’t seen him in six months last we knew he wanted to find something about his family and you rose” alfa James says.

“Me? He remembers me?” Rose asks

“Yes me and Dylan grew up together we are best friends. I have his number I can message him for you and we can set up a meeting?” Alfa James suggests. Rose thinks about her answer for awhile I grab her hand and give it a reassuring squeeze.

“Son I think we should let the queen think about it for awhile. Alfa Leo Is it possible me and James stay tonight we can head back tomorrow?” Alfa Cole asks.

“Yes I will get two rooms set up straight away” Leo replies his eyes glazing over as he mind-links.

“Thank you. Know your highness I would like to ask about the incident at the ball involving my sons mate” alfa Cole asks looking towards me.

“Yes but I thought your son you have filled you in unless his Luna hasn’t told him the story” I inquire.

“No she didn’t want to talk about it, she said it was in the past” alfa James says.

“Yes well your Luna I was originally from my pack the royal pack I kicked her out she tried to seduce me and to make her Luna and queen when I rejected her she made up a rumour that she was pregnant! I never touch her my father gave me two choices. One to take her to the doctor to see if she was lying or telling the truth and secondly to mate and marry her. As you can see I didn’t marry her I took her to the doctors it came negative and I kicked her out for lying which I already new because I didn’t touch her”

“I see. We will keep her away from you and the queen she will not cause any trouble for the two off you”‘Alfa Cole assures me.

“Thank you” I reply

“Your rooms are ready Beta Luca will show you too them” Leo says they both stand and follow Luca to their rooms. I look down at rose and she’s been quite since James mentioned arranging a meeting with her brother. I squeeze her hand to see if I can get her attention she looks at me I pull her to me lap and she snuggles into me. I place my head into the crook of her neck inhaling her sweet scent.

“Are you okay?” I whisper

“Just thinking. Can we go to our room?” Without a word I pick her up I look towards the group.

“If you need anything we’ll be in our room if it’s not important don’t disturb us” they all nod and I walk me and rose to our room once in our room I place rose on the bed and lay next to her I pull her to my side and she instantly cuddles into my chest. We laid there for awhile in silence I wanted to say something but unsure on what to say so I waited until she was ready. She signed and sat up I sat up next to her.

“Do you thinks it’s a good idea Nikali?”

“Meeting your brother?”

“Yes I’m not sure” her brows furrowed she shakes her head I pull her onto my lap so she’s facing me she looks into my eyes all I see is fear why though?

“I think that’s up to you. Although I do think it’s a good idea and you will be totally safe” she signs and gives me a small smile.

“Okay I’ll speak to Alfa James in the morning. Maybe Dylan will come by the end off the week”

“Let’s get some rest” I pull her back down on the bed and she snuggles into my chest it doesn’t take long for sleep to take over.

The next morning..

I wake rose isn’t in the bed but I can hear the shower I get changed into some fresh clothes and wait for rose to come out the shower. The door opens rose comes out fully clothed.

“Your up” she asks making her way over to me I pull her to my chest give her a quick peck on the lips.

“Morning, let’s go get some breakfast”

“Yes and I can talk to Alfa James too”

We make our way down to the food hall everything is set up we sit in our normal spots everyone greets us I load mine and roses plates we make small talk. Once finished with breakfast we make our way to the living area.

“Alfa James I would like you to arrange a meeting with my brother please, I also would like it if you and Alfa Cole would join us” rose asks

“Yes my queen I’ll do it right away and me and my father would love to” Alfa James replies Alfa Cole nods in agreement. He brings his phone out of his pocket and walks into the hallway to make his call.

He’s gone a few minutes before he returns no expression on his face s ok no can’t read what was said he takes his seat.

“Dylan has agreed to the meeting but has requested it at our pack house if that’s okay?” I look down at rose she gives me a smile before replying.

“Yes that’s fine thank you. When will it be?”

“A week” Alfa James replies.

“If it’s at your pack house will there be extra precautions in place to ensure that rose is safe?” I ask. I will take my beta and gamma also both of roses guards.

“Yes we will have extra patrols on the borders and warriors around the pack house”

“Thank you I will be bringing my beta and gamma also rose personal guards”

“Yes Alfa. If there is nothing else we will be off thank you alfa Leo for having us we hope to see you all soon” he stands up his father following I walk to the door to see them off.

“I will make sure my Luna is nowhere near the pack house that day” Alfa James says.

“Thank you” he bows and bows at rose before walking out the pack house.

A week has passed rose is still training with bonnie she has helped loads in learning her to control her powers she has only lost control twice once at me the other time at Luca I have no idea what it was over she has not told me and I’m hoping in time she will they have been avoiding each other since that day. She also learning how to use her healing power. We are currently packing to go to Alfa James pack for the meeting with her brother I can feel that she nervous through the bond and the fact that she’s been quite since she got up. I glance at the clock it’s eight am we leave in thirty minutes for the two hour drive.

Once packed we make our way down to the foyer we’re everyone is stood. I hand mine and roses bags to James so he can put them in the car.

“Alfa we leave in fifteen minutes” says joey i nod and walk over to rose who’s having a chat with maya.

“We leave in fifteen minutes. Joey and James are waiting by the car”

“Okay we’re are Jordan and Micheal?”

“I’ll mindlink them there probably still packing” I open the link to my beta and gamma.

“Guys we leave in fifteen minutes. Make sure your down here”

“Yes alfa” they both reply. I wait in the foyer till it’s time to leave rose is saying her good byes to her friends. A few moments go by and Jordan and Micheal make there way into the foyer and out to the car with their bags.

“Rose it’s time to go see you ready?” I ask

“Yes” she replies I hold my hand out for her to take she doesn’t hesitate to take it and I lead us out to the front there’s two SUVS one for me and rose and one for Micheal and Jordan.

“Joey you’ll drive me and rose. James you’ll drive Micheal and Jordan if there’s anything please mjndlink straight away and we will pull over. Everyone ready?”

“Yes alfa” we all get into our vehicles and set off to the red moon pack.

The drive is quite rose falls asleep snuggled up to my side we are ten minutes out I open my mindlink to Jordan.

“Inform Alfa James that we’re ten minutes till we reach his borders”

“Yes alfa” I close the mindlink and watch out the window at the passing trees. My mind goes to the possibility off things not working out. I hope Dylan will be happy to his sister after so many years off not knowing we’re she is or if she survived the horrible attack.

We make it to the border, the patrols let us through and we go up a long road the pack house coming into view. It’s big looks old fashioned three stories a big front porch with a wraparound veranda. As we get closer two silhouettes come two view I knew exactly who they are Alfa James and his father. We pull up I nudge rose to see if she stirs her eyes flutter open she sits up rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

“Are we here” she asks

“Yes come” I open the car door and step out I offer rose my hand and she takes it Micheal and Jordan make their way over to we’re we are standing joey and James standing to one side. I lead us up to the front porch were Alfa James and his father are stood.

“King Nikali its our pleasure to have you here”

“Thank you for having us please could you show my men were to take the bags”

“Yes my beta his inside ready to show your men” joey and James grab the bags and head inside. We shake both there hands and walk inside alfas James leads to his sitting room where a man is standing by the window. He turns around and steps further h to the room he looks just like her.
