War With Myself
**
Love is somewhat like hunger, like when hungry we will do everything to feed into our wild, curdling stomach. No matter how much harm it will do to our bodies, we will eat anything we get. Likewise, when hungry for love, we will do everything we can to look for the alternatives to get it; attention, obsession, anger to fill up the void in our lives, the hollow that was consuming us in the dark hollow of loneliness. It was all we needed to be gone. That’s what we think will make us happy. But will it be enough to last a lifetime?
