RAYMOND'S POV

The party was indeed a blast, there was enough food and drinks for every one, thanks to Janet and Abigail they really showed a good example of a good friend.

Am Raymond Tago, I work with the the estate management.

I love my job but not as much as I love my Eva, she means a whole lot to me.

I met Eva in the campus though I am not a fan of woman but I loved her at that first sight, such an amazing woman beautiful, intelligent, hardworking, and very independent, a woman that stands to make a decision for herself and stand strong on it, indeed Eva got my heart and she is an example of the virtuous and woman.

When you love someone you can do anything just to be close to him or her. When I understood that I can't sleep at night because of this girl I decided to help my life and talk to her but how can I do that.

Yes she normally reads a lot so I started going to the library exactly the time she will be there, we become friends and reading mate until we started having feeling for each other so easy our love started.

We have known each other for long time now so I taught it's time to tie the knot yes I will propose to her today at her party.

"That is a good idea, do you have the ring already?" Paul said on our way to the party

"Thanks Paul, I have the ring with me," I said smiling to myself on my achievement hmmmm I am man

"But Ray you should think more about this, is it what you want, will she be good enough to build your home with, remember this is not a weekend visit it is a story of forever, guy check it very well," Paul said rather in a worried tone,

"There is nothing there to check or think again, I have known Eva for a very long time, she is exactly what I need for my home to be complete, I love her and don't think I would ever regret what I want to do know," I replied with proud and ego in my voice, yes I can stand to defend her no matter what

But not withstanding, Paul is making a point I mean most girls nowadays are just scums, they bring out their real personality when they are sure they have homes, infact woman are like crayon they don't have only one color and they brings out their color one by one.

That has been my fear ever since Brenda my ex break up with me, I thought woman are the same but no the beautiful ones are not born.

Woman is like a metal in the hands of panel beaters, they change to whatever their masters want, a good woman can bring out the beasts in her only when you yourself is a beast.

I love Eva and the truth is, she is not other women, she is my final bus stop.

Their were a lot of honourable personalities in the party when we arrived, some of the members of the state press and journalist were present, wow good to see the voice we always listen to in person.

We arrived late at the party and my Eva was a bit angry, how will she understand that I have been planning for us, yes us but right now I need to make her calm down because her anger can fall a whole building.

"Hey babe am sorry am late," I apologised as we went outside to sort ourselves out

" And what do you expect me to say, it's fine I should understand from the first day I saw you that are a disappointment," she blasted in a very angry tone and mood turning her back against me

" Am so sorry babe, I understand how you feel but just give me this second I promise I won't disappoint again," I said as I moved close to her and held her by the waist and planted a soft kiss on her neck

"You sure knows the way to take me off my feet, let's go back to the party," she said with a smile after turning her front on me and held my hand.

We together went to the party but not after kissing her and saying "I love you" yea that's my girl.

I waited for the right time to make my intentions known to the whole world, it is now time for the celebrant and the best friend to say vote of thanks, I and my Eva were standing before the audience

"I must say today is the happiest day of my life, God indeed has been so good to me, I don't know we're to start and we're to stop he blessed me, he bless my life and family, and I pray he do same for everyone who are happy for me and has come to rejoice with me and my family.

I didn't forget my parents they are my jewel and I will forever cherish them, they made me who I am today and their advise is what I can't forget, kudo's to my parents and simblings.

All these years their are some people who stood by me both in thick and tiny they are my precious friends indeed a good friend is priceless, thanks to my friends.

The only one person that accept he can sew me, he can mend me, he cut me out in pieces and sew me into a beautiful dress that I am today, Raymond is my parority more than a friend he is my better half, thanks for being there for me.

Thanks to every one who made it to be here today may the good Lord replanish you and pay you back," She brought down the mic to allow the noice calm down

There were a lot of voices streaming down the air so I thought this is the right time for me, I immediately knelt down on one kneel and bring out the ring, the voice of the audience increased, some are happy while others are jealous I don't bloody care.

"Eva since the day I set my eye on you, you captured my heart, you gave me reasons that made me not to stay without you even a moment, you are my priceless jewel, can you please accept to be my wife and mother, to cuddle me in cold weather, to feed me as your child and take care of me, Eva will you marry me?"

I arrested my case and waited for an answer.

But their is power in love, at my age I still feel the fright when talking to people especially a multitude like the one in the party, but the strength I felt while talking and the magic voice in my head telling me what to say at a time I have never felt this way before.

Eva was shocked, marely looking at her you can tell the joy she felt right now, she was like this for almost five seconds, I began to loose hope when she smiled at me

"Yes Raymond I will marry you," she said and stretch out her hand, I immediately put the ring and we cling to each other.

The audience were applauding and happy for our union, task fulfilled.

PAUL'S POV

Having a stubborn head as a friend is one big task, you have to prepare for argument all the time because they never believe others have a point.

Today my stubborn friend Raymond woke me up from sleep only to help him buy an engagement ring, this guy is strong I mean after what Brenda did to him, he still have the guts to propose to a lady, when will he understands that women are scum.

Raymond is a nice and cool guy forget his stubborn head, we have being friends from the University though he is quite more intelligent compare to me. He was employed after our school days while I waited for another year to have a job.

I succeded in introducing him to my terminology of women being a scum but that didn't last as he started making advances on Eva.

Eva is a nice girl but woman are all the same maybe she is hiding her self.

When he told me about his plan, I didn't buy the idea at first,

"Raymond you are my friend I wouldn't want you to do anything you will regret in future, are you sure about this and how good are you sure about eva?" I asked feeling concerned about my friend

"I understand what you mean paul but everything is a risk so I have to take it, but Eva is not bad as you think," he replied in a rather more confident manner

" I have seen marriages clash, I have witnessed many challenges in marriage, are you ready for this?" I question him again

"Look you shouldn't be praying I see much difficulty in this, but as such I know marriage is hard that's is why we need to understand each other, men forget about this I already made my decision," he concluded

"It's okay, since this is what you want I gat your back," I promised him

Not as Raymond is saying, the real truth is they both match each other, they are understanding, they love one another and Eva is submissive to Raymond, I wish them all the best

and am waiting for the Eva of my life.

Watching them tie the not was an interesting part to view, honestly I was jealous I feel like being the one in Raymond's shoe right now hmmmm love is sweet.

We drove home after the party, my friend is drunk and I have to stay with him tonight. Am happy for him.

EVA'S POV

Ohhhh my God I can't tell the joy I feel right now in me, honestly Raymond has prove his love to me, this is the dream of every successful single ladies.

The party is over, Janet and Abigail helped in cleaning and clearing the arena, they accompanied me to my room maybe they are spending the night that will be nice.

" Girl am happy for you, you have everything you always wanted congrats baby girl," Janet said while sitting next to me on the bed

"Congrats bestie, but how are you sure Raymond will be good as new claims to because I wouldn't want my love to regret anything," Abigail said while cleaning her makeup in the mirror

"Hmmmm well I had the same feeling dear but no my Raymond is not as you think," I replied adjusting my butts to my study

" Congrats girl am jealous," Janet thundered and adjusted herself to her lying position grabbing one pillow

"This is the real Janet that I know, don't snatch her husband and remember that pillow is two so grab and remain one," Abigail replied back jokingly

"Time to sleep you girls are making noice," I said dragging my dairy from the drawer in my studies.

My friends are happy for me, I know there fears but I trust Raymond he is not as they think.

My dairy needs to hear this.

Triple favor, the month of August will forever be my best month, it has favoured me a lot.
