Hello The story started with a kingdom named Ife from a West African nation. a powerful kingdom with power and flourishment well respected for their achievements among all kingdoms achievements, their kingship reputation lasted for many years and, was honored by their forefathers to their fathers and their sons. The kingdom was well known for its prosperity and generosity each male or female from other kingdoms is willing to get married and have a relationship with the people of Ife because they are extremely blessed by the gods all through their generation to their son and daughter, each battle they encounter they concur, but I guess good days don't last without sacrifice. Each king crowned at Ife is married to five wives from their forefathers to their fathers and their sons, they have never experienced farming or hunger all through their days from generation to current generation, they have the best history of oldest people to live long in their village they are the center of attraction of decision making on critical matters in all seven kingdoms, their opinion is always well respected and honor and fear by the other kingdom and kings including their people. Each law guiled by the kingdom of Ife is not to be broken the punishment for breaking the law is banishment in exile or death, spoken by the kings and chief priest, locally known as the eyes of the gods or the mouthpiece of the gods fear by all and honor by all. every Saturday the kings and their people celebrate and conduct thanks given to their gods including the king's chief advisor they make sacrifices and celebrate their gods for blessing and good deeds in their village other kingdoms are also well invited to the diner together with loved ones and families. The current name of the present king was called Ozolua generally called Oba each king's ruler of ife is name Oba, king Ozolua is married to five wives just as the kingship tradition commanded each wife of the king of Oba is called queen Oloi, the general name of each wife of the king. the kingdom was blessed that even the kings and their families put on gold and expensive jewelry with well train bodyguards 24/7. Each time a meeting is held by other kings Oba is the first to be informed immediately and his kingsmen with him due to the generosity of the Oba of Ife, he is responsible for giving out and helping so many villages and rendering them comfort and peace money, and many other fortunes but the scary thing is that all of his wives only gave birth to females at the time it has been a very big competition also problems for the king and his family some other kingdom mocks him, The king will only grieve in silence with his kingsmen many years pass and the kingdom excels in greatness and ceremony and peace with one another. Many years pass the king was unable to have a male child from any of his wives so one day one of his kingsmen, gave the king secret advice to get a sixth wife hopefully bear him a male child The king has always wanted but to the law of the kingdom it is wrong and it displeased the gods, but a disparate king was vulnerable and wanted to bear a son so the other kings and kingdom will mock him no more and he can fully be a true king among the rest, but the punishment for such offense is a curse to the land, The king is fully aware of this but was disparate and ignored the laws of the land by the gods. King Ozolua was a very handsome king with a 6.2 fit height tall dark skin grey hair bread with charming eyes and he was once a very good singer with his amazing voice which his father adore about him any lady in his kingdom will want to have a relation with him, and he is a man of is the word For many days the king keep on thinking about the offer one of his Kingsman discuss with him about him getting a six wives he knew the consequences but he was willing to do what it takes, the next day the king requested to call chief Eze, chief Eze was the kingsmen who suggest the plan to the king, the moment chief Eze arrive the king dismiss everyone from his present, chief Eze and the king had a very quite long discussion about the suggest he once mention to the king, the king asked how can we execute the plan without the people knowing the king ask , chief Eze reply live that to me my lord, he said I have a beautiful lady from the next village close to my brothers hurt, I will make a quick arrangement and secret meeting with bring her all I want from you my king his your respond and approver to begin and it shall be done , the king was quite for awhile , then he reply , yes you have my approval you can make the neccessry arrangement but speak to no one about this not even your wife , let it be between me and you not even the walls , cheif Eze replied yes my king my mouth speak notting forever it is kept to me until my death ...... The next day chief Eze begins with his journey request to his brother hurt at the next village to seek the beautiful lady. the name of the lady was Ada, charming and good-looking with lovely hair many young men in her village seek for her hand in marriage but she never gave him to them, so chief Eze arrive at the village and seek for the lady she was surprised to see an honorable kingsman from Ife, chief Eze replies the lady I am amazed of your beauty and I'm here to seek for your hand in marriage but not for me but our lovely and well honor, respected king Ozolua at ife kingdoms, Ada was short of words for awhile then she finally replies who im for the great king to seek for my hand in marriage I am nothing compare she ask? chief Eze reply but we have found love and beauty in you, Ada amazes with a deep smile. The king was patiently waiting for the response of chief Eze, one of his wives ask my lord why are you worried and restless the king replied notting my belove im fine can you please get me something to eat she reply yes my lord she left, weeks pass and chief Eze sent a secret message across to the king saying, the mission is complete how can we meet so I can be able to introduce Ada to you in person, the king sent a return message the next week saying at nightfall after the third market, meet me at river stream I will be there waiting for you bring the lady along with you if possible so I can meet her in person and know if we can have a secret relation together. The day finally came the king secretly went out from his kingdom at nightfall to the river stream waiting for cheif Eze and the lady Ada, a free minute later they came in the king was down shock in surprise and amaze of Ada beauty the king replied Eze you have done well and choose wisely Ada replied my king it is an honor to meet you, the king replies the honor is mine, chief Eze gave them a chance to have a chart, the king replied Ada comeand seat close to me at the conner side of the river and tell me a little bit about your self, Ada smile and replied what would you want to know about me my king the king reply everything and anything, for I have found love and beauty in your eyes that I can't let go, dwell with me in my hands and my heart for I will treat you as my queen ,Ada replied im honor to get the attention of your heart for im just a normal girl from the next village the king replied in my eyes you more then just normal girl i see great future in us , but the king never stated his true intention , then Ada relied and ask my king what will your wives and people say about our secret meeting and relation the king said worry not i will take care of that , all i want is you and you alone so we can bear a male child togther , Ada smile . Many weeks month pass and Ada and king Ozolua secretly meet and have relation together then one faithful day the chief priest also known as the eye of the gods approaches the king and says, oh king what have you done the king says nothing and reply what brings you to my presence wise one, he replied I smell shame and darkness before this kingdom, the elder of the village was surprised and the people because it is the first time they have held the chief priest mentions such a thing about the gods to the village, the king was not too surprised because he knew but he kept quiet and replied to the chief priest and say, what have we done wrong, the people were sort of amaze and wonder the priest shake his head and look forward to the king and ask him why, why have they done this, for lack of patience and trade evil have before us, oh king the chief priest left with worries and sadness the village people wonder and worry in fear and confusion. Many years past the king and chief Eze speaketh nothing to no one, Ada was finally pregnant for the king and she gave birth to a male child called Ray and a native name called Olua, it was a blessing to the king and Ada but it was an abomination to the gods and the law of the land, no one saw this coming, not even the king wives and his people it was kept secret from them. it was a blessing and a day of joy for the king he was happy and started celebrating calling the name of Ray's mother thanking her for removing the shame of Treas from his eyes and giving his generation a new meaning but the gods were displeased about this and the great curse a calamity was before the land the king was less consign about that all he cares about was is breakthrough and not his people he believes laws and destiny can be rewritten with faith and sacrifice, the king keeps up with the secret affaire with Ada and for many years days turn weeks turn months and months turn years and years turns decades, king Ozolua was getting old already, remember a sin which a father refuse to handle or take care of will be automatically irritated by the sons and his generation. A day came when the community had a festival to thank and celebrate their gods, the king present a havely gift to the gods but everyone was amazing, but chief Eze was one of the few that truly knows the intentions behind the biggest and most amazing gift of the king, the chief priest was also aware but he spent nothing because the gods instructed him not to make a word to the people for is punishment will serve as a lesson for their kings betrayed. At the festival, the chief priest locally known as the eyes of the god's approaches the king and ask why committee so much tragedy to your people and the land.? The king replied eyes of the god, the wise one, the one who the people learn and listen to, hmm you won't understand the pain a man without a male child who will be my hair after my death? who will take over my crown? The chief priest replied why be so Impatient are you the gods? who are you to question the gods for they know what Is best? The king replied to him sometimes I believe gods make mistakes I believe we can rewrite our faith and destiny. The chief priests realize the words from the king are not from the king's wisdom but from a desperate man, who lost faith in his weakness and vulnerability the chief priest left in pain but say nothing, the king called him and say for the power entitle to me as the king, speak nothing about this to no one, not even the walls, the chief priest walk away in disappointment The king felt unhappy about the conversation but a man must leave by his word even if it hurt, many days pass the king's ages became closer and closer and chief Eze had a secret meeting and ask oh king how long can we keep this and how long can we keep lying to your people about this, it is better off to clear the air once and for all you are king and no one can go against your decision or your word. The king thought about it and say, I believe you are right, I guess it is time to tell my family and my people about my son, known in the eyes of the gods as a gift in a curse, the king was quiet for a while and reply chief Eze you been a good friend, not just kingsmen, I hope it all turns out good chief Eze replied have faith my king has faith The king and chief Eze arrange how to tell his people and his family about his deepest secret, for many years the king then decided to break the news to his household and his family about his love affair with his mistress a day came on Saturday evening the king invited Ada and his beloved son Ray to his household the king called his family and ask them to have a seat because he has something important to say Ray was heavily smiling and happy to meet his people and family but the king's wives and his daughter were wondering finding it strange and uncomfortable with the reaction of the boy Ray and also the sudden visit of the king with a total stranger they have never met before, king Ozolua was 80 years old of age already and Ray his son from his mistress was 18 years old of age already the king was unsure if he about to do the right thing but the advice he got from chief Eze gave him the motivation to speak out. At nightfall the king called all his household members then he said, I have not been a good husband and father to you all for I have done somethings I'm not proud of but in my weakest stage I felt vulnerable, but truly it has been a blessing to our family but to the eyes of the gods it as been noting but shame and disappointment forgive me if what I'm about to say will cost you nothing but pain and hatred toward one another the young man sitting right here next to us with a big smile on his face, he is my son, I have kept it from you all for eighteen years now, I had a secret relation with the beautiful lady right here in front of you for eighteen years now she is the Mother of my son her name is Ada and the boy you see also right in front of you his name is Ray also called in our native names Olua , I know it is a big shock to you all and i believe by now you all hate me for this but I beg you not to develop hatred forgive not just me and also Ada and Ray for they done you no wrong , I want you all to love each other as one and live as family and not strangers , one of the kings queen name azuna stood up and say oh king this to totally unacceptable we cant take this either the gods and your people , you have brought shame and problems to your people an to your land oh king with al the wisdom invested on you , you still made a common mistake an average man would make and you have the right to bring this thing you call beauty before your queens and your daughter and your people without shame , you have brought shame and disappointed to us , you have brought curse to our land and you have called upon suffering to us and to your people what kind of man are you , she burst in Trease and leave the rest of the kings wives was disappointed and walk away without a word to the king , Ada felt uncomfortable and Ray was deep in silent and in shock for his family reaction, the king was worried and confuse The next day the king summoned all his elders and his people to the center of his presence including the chief priest the people replied oh king we are honored to be in your presence, the king replied greetings to you all, I have gadder you all here today to talk about something impotent I hope you all find it in your heart to forgive me. the people wonder at the unpresentable words spoken by the king, one of the top elders replied oh king, your words are deep and confusing, what troubles you, my lord? the king replied, I have bled for my mistake in my silent chamber I have been wondering if I have done the right thing ? or maybe I have been clothed in shame and disgrace? I know I have failed you all as your king, but I hope you all can forgive and pardon my weakness for I'm just a man who needed a son, the king called Ray and he came over to the people and everyone wondered who his he that stand tall before the king with emotional motive with so much smile and appearance, the king replied this is my son Ray and I had a secret relationship with my mistress for 20 years, the people were shocked and full of surprise one of the elders ask oh king but you are fully aware this is against our tradition and law? the king replied I'm fully aware and I am deeply sorry if I have brought harm to you all for my weakness and lack of patience has brought me and also you all to this tragedy I know I have failed you all as your king and your leader the elders and the people were disappointed by the words of the king and his reaction and action which he has taken because they knew he has brought nothing but shame and calamity to the land and their generation. The meeting was over some people understood the pain and the action of the king while others were displeased with his action because the king has brought calamity to the land the reaction of the people was not please with the king he knew he has failed them and he felt guilty many days and weeks pass the king health was getting worse and most of his doctors ensure there is nothing wrong with him, one evening the king called Ray his son and have a deep conversation with him and words of fatherly wisdom, the king said follow your heart and do what you know is right never pay evil for evil true love comes with sacrifice love your neighbor as your self be humble to your people and listen to their opinion respect the gods and do their wishes be grateful even if it little, and the king said to his son I believe you will make a very good king for I have seen your heart is full of love for your people and to the land may the gods help you and find pity on us they both spend the night together many months and years pass the king finally pass out to is death and to his last wishing was to grant his crown to his son Ray and they should always support him and guild him for he will make a very good king in the future the elders and his people obeys the kings last wishes , Ray mother was banish to exile for it is the law of the people and she most pay the price for her son and for her action the king plead before his death but there was noting he could do Ada accepted her faith and went to exile hofully one day she will united with her belove son once again , her words to Ray a genuine love come with sacrifice and only those with a big heart can handle that , always find love genuinely and not for beauty or passion , then she left , the villages hold a ceremony for their king death and his belove wives and daugter was not please with their husband and their father action even in his death for he has cost them pain and chosen a common mistresses child over their daughter and love one , many years pass and some of the kings wives died and their daughter were married to other prince and kings in different kingdom the kingship title was pass to Ray as the hair for his belove father and for is last wishes of his father , Ray became the crown king at the age of 25 years old.
