Sisters and powers

Dana's Point of view After our talk with mom, Jayden and I went up to our room. It was kind of weird that we already shared a room, but the more time I spent with him and the others, the more this felt normal. It was like my vampire side was taking more and more over. Like it was surfacing from the darkness and helping me cope with it all. I still had my own walk in, but it was now in our living room and the things we, or rather the guys, had bought today fit in well. There were still a lot of space left for more cloth, and I didn't know what I would do with so much clothes, but Jayden assured me that I would need it and 'we would fill it all out'. When everything was sorted, Jayden took me to the first floor. He showed me the conference rooms, and then his and the guy’s office's and then opened a door to a beautiful feminine office. It was in white, gold and dusted pink colors, and it smelled freshly painted. At one side it had a L shaped white leather couch, glass coffee table, and white leather chairs. Opposite it, were a TV hanging. The office desk was a dark off white, with golden accents and a dusted pink leather chair. The rug both under the coffee table and office desk was also a light dusted pink color. On the desk there was an intercom, and Jayden showed me how it worked, and if I need any of them and they had a mental block up, I could reach them anyways. I unpacked my new computer and I loved it! I also unpacked the tablet and phone. Jayden had gotten hold of a sim card for both, so they worked right away. He then put in all the numbers I needed so I could call them all. I was so caught up in my new gadgets I didn't see Max and Storm come in, not until they were directly opposite me at the table. "So, sis. We wanted to get you something special for your birthday. More special than shoes and clothes, because, well that shouldn't be damn necessary if your adopted father wasn't such a. Anyway. Every vampire royalty gets some special things when they come of age, and we wanted to be the ones to give them to you." After his little speech Storm handed me a long thin jewelry box, and inside was a gorgeous rose gold bracelet with small roses in it, I just stared at him. The cost of this. Nope, I am not going down that rabbit hole. Next Max handed me a small square box, and in that there were rose gold earrings also with roses in them. I think my mouth actually dropped to the floor, when Jayden lastly handed me another thin long box. In this there was a necklace in rose gold with an old looking pendant and roses on either side of that. I had tears streaming down my eyes now, as I looked at the collection that was definitely custom made. I looked at the guys, but couldn't find the right words, so I stood up and gave all of them a giant hug and a kiss on the cheek. - A couple of days later - I was coming down to breakfast hand in hand with Jayden, when we heard an unfamiliar female voice ringing out from the dining room. Jayden looked surprised but pleased for some reason and chuckled at the scowl I gave him. "Sounds like Storm's twin sister is home", he emphasized the words 'twin sister'. I swallowed, but didn't respond, because if this indeed was Storm' twin, then she would be my big sister, and I wasn't sure how I liked that. The last couple of days I had been getting more comfortable with everyone, and the fact that even the staff here seemed to like me. I wasn't quite sure how I felt about meeting someone new already. What if she didn't like me? Or turned everyone against me? Where would I go? Would her opinion matter so much to everyone that they would shun me, or Jayden maybe reject me after all. My thoughts had my stomach in turns, and I suddenly felt nauseated. "Baby girl breath." Jayden whispered in my ear. He had stopped us in the hall, looking me intently in the eyes. "I can feel your emotions, remember?" When I nodded, he continued, "and I can feel your panic, especially towards me. Now I don't know your thoughts. But do not worry my love. Sami is going to love you, like everyone else here, and if she doesn't that is her problem. You are my mate and nothing nor no one is taking you away from me. Understand?" His words of comfort were slowly getting through the fog of panic, but before we could move again the doors to the dining room threw open, and there stood Storm with a beautiful young woman - the female version of him. She had long loose curly hair, going to her mid back, almost doe shaped eyes that shined with kindness. She was a petite girl, who had curves all the right places. "What the heck is wrong with my sister? Why is she having a panic attack?" Storm asked and hurried over to hug me. Jayden explained how my emotions had gone to panic when we had heard the new voice. I looked apologetic at Storm, and then at the new girl. "I. I'm sorry Storm." I said in a low voice, but it was the woman who answered me. "No need to apologies sister. I was really nervous in there to meet you." She pointed over her shoulder towards the dining room and offered a bright smile. "I have heard some many lovely things about you from the guys and our parents, so I have been looking forward to finally meet you, but also been afraid you maybe wouldn't like me." My mouth dropped. She had been afraid; I didn't like her - but she seemed so kind. I told her as much, and then we both laughed. "You were right brother, she is as pure at heart, as she is sweet and beautiful." My sister said. And I gave both her and Storm a confused look. "We are gifted Dana, as well." Storm explained, "Sami here can sense if someone is pure at heart, and I can sense poisons, ill will and cursed objects." I nodded just as Sami approached me, she gave me a tight hug and took my arm. "Come on little sister, I want to know everything about you. Including how my dimwit cousin is treating you." I giggled as Jayden scowled at Sami, but she didn't seem faced by him as she led me to breakfast.  Afterwards Sami took me to the library and told the guys we needed girl time. Jayden didn't like the sound of that, but one pout from me and he caved. I had found out that Jayden had a very hard time saying no to me, and sometimes I would take a little advantage of that. But only a little, and only with innocent tings. Sami shook her head, "goddess my cousin is whipped." I gave her an innocent look and we both burst out laughing. "So, Storm tells me you've got powers of your own?" She asked with a side glance. "Uh, uhm yes I do. I can move objects with my mind or hand, tell if someone is lying to me, or anyone else if I'm near enough to hear them speak and when I get a really strong emotion people bow down - but I don't particularly like that. It feels weird." I looked down. "Okay sister, I think it’s time you and I got a talk, and then I will introduce you to a friend of mine. He is a wizard and has been around for the goddess only knows how long. He will help you with your powers, and what I think is your vampire queen aura." Sami said. "But won't Jayden get mad if I meet this friend and he is not there?" Sami laughed, "no because I'll be there. I'm a pretty strong warrior, besides my friend would never hurt any of us, and Jayden would not do anything to hinder your training. I told him over mind-link what we are up to." I felt relieved that Sami had told Jayden, and I agreed with her - I needed training. We arrived at the library, and there in the chair sat; "Mr. Callaghan?"  Aron Callaghan' Point of view  I couldn't quite believe I was back at this mansion. It had been all too long, but when Ophelia approached me 18 years ago and told me that two important and powerful young ladies who would be born two years apart, I knew my days in hiding were over. I had been hiding, in isolation and keeping everyone out since that frightful day where my destined love was killed. It had been over a century now, but I was still not over it, they killed her just for power, even though she wanted nothing to do with her heritage. My darling Isalanta. She had been the only daughter of Saphira and Adam Hamilton. Saphira had been daughter of Helion and Miri the first-born descendant of Abraham the first goddess blessed vampire to the world. I was there the day Abraham became king of the vampires, and there for ending the war that had always raged among them. Vampires had lived long before Abraham, but he was the first descendant of the blood moon goddess. The others had been transformed due to experiments from werewolves and humans. When Ophelia realized the destruction, her people were inflicting on themselves, she created Abraham from her own blood and mated him to Sophie who were human at the time. Abraham turned her and they became this force of good, that called to all vampires - well all most all. There were still those who thought they should have been blessed instead, and who craved power above all.  I have witnessed royals come and go in every fraction of this world. But after they killed my beloved Isalanta, I stopped caring. I became a loner, and one who didn't give a damn, if I helped the right or wrong in a situation, if my own needs were met. But this all changed when Ophelia and Monica came to me, yelled at me and then said they were somewhat ashamed of who I had become.  Flashback 18 years ago "Just because I am not YOUR goddess Aron, does not mean you can be disrespectful to me! What in the world would Isa have said if she could see you now?"  At the mention of my love, I lost all self-control and started throwing my magic at the goddess. "That will do, thank you." Another female voice rang out, before a bright purple light blinded me, and another beautiful woman stood before me. "Hello my son." She spoke. I looked at the woman, why did she seem so familiar? And then I remembered; she was the mother of my kind, the wicca goddess herself Monica.” It has been all too long Aron. You need to get your act together, and start being the good man Aslanta fell in love with. Stop being so self-absorbed, and start seeing the world again."  I looked between the women but had yet so say anything so Ophelia continued where Monica had left off; "the death of Isa was a big mistake and should have never happened. But I can't change what was done. What I can do is look to the future, and that future holds two very rare and powerful female vampires. One is to be the next supreme queen, along with her mate. She is going to have a struggling past when she comes of age, but this will also ensure she is pure of heart. I will send you to her when the time is right, but you are not to reveal yourself until she is connected to her vampire family. You need to be her protector. Her family will use magic to keep away anyone who want to expose themselves to her before her 16th birthday." She took a deep breath, before she spoke again the agony not going unnoticed. "The second child is already born, and she is the twin sister to the next southern vampire king Storm. But she will not stay with her people, because she is destined to be the bridge between two different species. They will both know many struggles and will need some loyal friends and family. I will also send you to befriend this child, because she is the one who will unite you all." When she was finished talking, I looked bewildered between the two of them, and then asked the one question on my mind. "But why me? I'm not sure I am the right person for this? It's been too long."  Both deities held sadness in their eyes, but then Monica spoke up, "it is never too late to alter your path. And we actually have a surprise for you Aron." Then suddenly the most gorgeous woman appeared, her long dark hair and sapphire blue eyes shone with tears. She looked just as beautiful, as when she had been alive. "Aron." Her melodious voice called out, and I broke down. How was this possible? I fell to my knees and started sobbing so hard, when I felt her warm embrace surround me. I was taken aback, and didn't know what to say to her? I felt ashamed and broken to the bone. "My love, you need to let go! This is not like you, and definitely not like the man I loved." Her tone was gentle but cut to my heart like a sharp knife. "I can't live without you Isa! I miss you so damn much every day, and I have only wished to die since that awful day." She kissed my cheek, "my love, you need to move on! I have never left you, because I will always live on in here." She pointed to my heart, and I knew she was right. I got up, a new determination in my eyes and accepted the task at hand. I had kept preparing myself for 12 years, until Ophelia had led me to Sami at her boarding school. We had become friends, and I told her about my mission. She was not as surprised as I would have thought, but just told me she had been suspecting something like this and shrugged. Then two years later I had been called by a woman named Milan, who wanted me to teach her 12-year-old daughter. I had agreed, and the first time I met Dana, I felt in my heart she was different.  So here I am. In the home where my story began. The place I was my happiest and the place where my world stopped spinning. I knew this time would be different, because those two girls needed my guidance and my friendship. "Mr. Callaghan.?" That voice, I would always remember that voice. "Dana! It is so nice to see you again." I said, as I stood up to greet them both. "But I don't understand? What are you doing here?" I looked to Sami, but she silently shook her head at me. "Well, this is kind of a long story. One I want to tell you both, so you better understand why I'm here." The girls sat down, and I proceeded to tell them my story. When I was at the end, both girls had tears in their eyes and Dana came over and hugged me. It felt nice, and as I was finally able to let go of my Isalanta, never forget, but let go and move on. "So, first thing first girls, we need to talk about powers. I know Dana have more active powers, but it is important that you both learn meditation and to control the impulses of your powers. And you both need to learn how to control, or better yet turn your aura on and off." At this Sami gave me a weird look, "yes Sami, this goes for you too! Your aura is strong, almost as strong as your brothers and I have seen firsthand what happens when it gets the better of you in the midst of a strong emotion." She looked down and nodded, knowing that she had forced people to submission if she wasn't able to take control of an emotion quick enough. "Okay, so we are going to work in here, and I am placing a protection barrier between the outside and us three, until you have learned enough control." Dana tilted her head, "but what about the guys? Shouldn't they be here as well?" It was a good question, "no, the guys are not as strong as you two. Even though Jayden is to be the supreme king, you are the queen and ultimately the one with the powers and who is going to lead everyone." With this said, I asked the girls to sit on the ground, while I went around the entire room and chanted my protection charm. "Okay, let’s begin" Dana' Point of view  We had been working on control and meditation for about 3 weeks now, and both Sami and I were getting much better! I also had been working on my active powers of telekinesis and progressed there as well. Me and Jayden were getting closer every day, and he was always supportive of my training. Even though it took Aron a good two weeks before the guys trusted him, oh and a big tantrum about 'overprotective and possessive males' from Sami. I got to admit, that girl got some mad skills in getting the guys to cave. She and I have also been getting closer, and I finally felt at ease. Like everything would be fine! My trust issues were getting smaller by the day, and Jayden did everything in his power to show me how important I am to him. Storm sometimes joked that all he had left after I arrived was Max, because I had stolen his best friend and twin sister. Especially the first comment ended in a scramble, because Max felt 'so offended', and I parted them with my powers, declared Storm to a drama queen and we all then went for ice cream, laughing ourselves silly.  All in all, everything was going so well, until she arrived one late afternoon in the middle of October.
