"Why on earth would the blood moon goddess mate me with a mutt? A useless werewolf? I hated those veil creatures. " I was beyond furious, I was livid! Tony only looked at me, and then started to laugh. "I thought you said that you are chosen mates with Jayden Hamilton?" He said in a degrading tone. "HE IS MY MATE!" I yelled in his face, but all I got was a raised eyebrow in return. "Why is it that he is not with you then? And why do I know for certain that he already found his fated mate? The vampire girl Dana?" I screamed on top of my lunges. How dared he?! He was mine, and no one else would have him, even if I had to kill this b***h, I would. "He is MINE, and that w***e is not worth his time. I will get rid of her, and then take my rightful place as queen." Tony got an evil glint in his eyes, "if you want the girl gone, then hand her over to me. I'll make sure she goes away, and you can be the queen." I wondered what he wanted her for, but I didn't really care. As long she disappeared and never came back. "Fine. It's a deal" 

Dana' Point of view

"Jayden stop that." He gave me a playful look and continued his ministrations. "Uhh, I think I'd rather go on. This is nice." I couldn't help but laugh at his antics. I had just come out of a bath, and Jayden had entered our room while I was still just in a towel. "Please stop, just one sec. Oh Jayden. I, I, I need to ask you something." He smirked at my incoherent state of mind but stopped at my belly button non the less. "What is it my love?" I took a deep breath; we had not yet been physical, and it actually scared me a lot. I wanted him, and our make out sessions had been more and more heated the last couple of weeks. "I just. I need to know about the marking. We haven't spoken about it." He sighed. "Baby girl, our marks will complete our souls as one, and it is ancient magic. As soon as we have i*********e, the mark will take place just above our hearts. It will represent the one who our heart belongs too." I nodded. "We don't need to do anything now; I know you are not." But before he could finish that sentence I slipped under him, and let the towel drop to the floor. I stood before him in all my naked glory, and suddenly felt very insecure under his intense stare. I tried to cover myself, thinking this maybe was a bad idea, but before I could do anything Jayden put his hands on me. "You are the most gorgeous and radiant woman I have ever seen!" Then he crashed his lips to mine, and the tingles exploded all over my body. He laid me down on the bed and looked me all over, before he started kissing every inch of my body. We lost ourselves in that moment, no one else existed. Jayden rid himself of his clothes, "are you sure you want to do this?" He asked me with eyes full of love and lust, and when I nodded, he placed himself at my flower. As he entered me, tears started to fall. Jayden kissed them away, and broke my maidenhood in a swift movement, he was still inside of me until I started moving against him. When he started moving, all I felt was love and euphoria. We both felt our fated bond complete and how we became one. I could feel him so much more, his emotions and fragments of his thoughts. I could feel what he felt for me, and new he loved me hole hearted, and he could feel that I loved him just as much. When we climaxed together, I saw something form on Jayden - a royal blue crown, with the letter D in the middle surrounded by red climbing roses. His smile was so loving, and then his eyes moved to just above my heart too. "You have a light pink crown with a J and red climbing roses surrounding. And there is a mini version right here." He pointed to the top of my shoulder. I looked better and could see the mini version on him as well. "Yours are a royal blue crown, a D and climbing roses surrounding." His smile got bigger. "I love you, Dana. I'm not sure id you are ready hear this, but we are now one and I do." I kissed his nose, "I love you too Jayden. And I can feel your love, and you are so much more now. Thank you for loving me and being patient." 

Be both got dressed and was on our way down to get afternoon tea with Jayden' parents, when I heard a squeal and some woman flung herself at Jayden. She jumped in his arms and clung to him, but he hurriedly put her down and held me close. "Jayjay! Oh my god, I'm so happy to see you, it's been all to long. I have missed you terrible, come on tell me everything you have been up too." She totally ignored me and tried to take Jayden' hands to lead him away, but I growled and finally she seemed to register I was there. "Jayjay, you didn't tell me you've got another sister." She said in what she thought to be airy and sweet, but you could just feel the jealousy swirling off of her. "I don't. And it's Jayden, please." She laughed and put her hand on his arm, "how is this charming girl then?" I gave her a pointed look, "I'm Jayden' mate Dana." I answered her, before Jayden could open his mouth. "Well, well, well. The rumors are true then. Oh darling, I feel so sorry for you." She gave a fake sad face, and continued, "you must be devastated. Finding your mate, only to know he already has a chosen mate and queen already." I felt like the air was sucked out of my lunges and felt so confused and betrayed. I extricated myself from Jayden' hold, turned on my heel and left before I slammed that fake barbie wannabe into the wall. "Oh no, did I say something wrong? Jay darling, you did tell her, didn't you? That poor girl, must have been a shock." 

Jayden' Point of view

What the hell just happened? One moment I was going to have tea with my parents, and the next moment Clarissa practically declared herself my mate, and even told Dana as much. I was taken completely aback, and didn't react in time, before Dana stormed of. "What the hell Clarissa. What are you playing at?" I gave her a disgusted look, "what are you talking about baby? I just told that girl the truth." I quirked an eyebrow, "what truth? I already told you 1000 times over; I am waiting on my fated mate and would never have you to be my queen. Ever." Her whole body language changed in a second. "That is not what your mom and I discussed." She said with a smirk. I paled. "Sami, please look to Dana. She is upset and probably hiding in the library. I need to have a talk with my mother. But please make sure Dana is alright." Before she could answer, I cut the link and walk to the living room, where my parents were sitting. "Mother!" She looked up at my tone, and then paled visibly when she saw Clarissa coming in behind me looking all gleeful. "Jayden, what is wrong, and where is Dana?" My father asked, but my intention was completely on my mom. "Maybe you would be so kind, as to answer both of those questions mother?" She swallowed, "Jayden, whatever you have heard I surely can explain. But why is Clarissa with you and where is Dana? Is she alright?" I was almost shaking in anger, "did you or did you not promise me to Clarissa as a chosen mate? And why on earth would you do so behind my back?" I all but yelled. Clarissa tried to take my arm, to calm me but I threw her of. She disgusted me, always had and that feeling had only gotten stronger as we grew older. She was power hungry and had always tried to make me take her to bed. But I hadn't, and never would. "What do you mean chosen mate son? We have always promised that you would have all the time to find your fated." He then looked at my mother. She sighed and shot Clarissa a disdainful look before answering. "I have never promised anyone, not Clarissa, not any one you as a chosen mate. But I did say, that IF you were ever to consider a such, I would let her know." Now my anger rose even more, she had practically put the idea in that bitches’ head, and now my Dana was suffering because of her poor choice of words. "Clarissa I am sorry for the misunderstanding, but I have never been interested in taking a chosen mate. And seeing as I already found my fated one, I ask you to leave the subject alone."           

She looked absolutely livid, but I couldn't care less. "I ask of you to leave again, I'm sorry I know you just hot here but seeing as my mate is probably not comfortable with you, the decision is final. "You really mean, you choose that, that, girl over me? I am the rightful queen to this world, and you know it Jayden! I will have you as my mate, mark my words. One day, I will make you love me back." She said all this with so much hatred, "Clarissa." Instead of saying anything else, I moved my shirt a bit to the side and showed her the mini version of my mate’s mark. If she had been a cartoon character, there would be coming smoke out of her ears. "YOU LET HER MARK YOU?!" She screamed, but in that second two guards came in. I had mind-linked them, "please escort Miss Clarissa to her room, help her pack again and then of the property." They bowed and led her out.

My parents looked gleeful, "you are marked" My mother said softly, "yes, and so is Dana. She is my mate and my queen. I will never want anyone else." She nodded and looked shameful, "I'm so sorry. This is all my fault because I didn't think at the time. Clarissa has always been a friend of you, Storm and Max. So, I didn't think it would throw her into such a. Hm state." Her apology was genuine, and I moved over to give her a hug.

Dana' Point of view

I couldn't believe he would actually choose a mate, and then string me along?! Why? Why would he mark me and let me mark him, if he already had her? As I reached the library the tears started to come, and they fell in fat streams down my cheeks. I was so lost in emotions, that I didn't register someone come in, or when the books started flying. Only when I heard a loud thump and someone groan, I snapped out of it. I looked around, and then spotted Sami on the floor. I moved over to her and helped her up from the floor, "what are you doing here sis?" I asked her between hiccups. She gave me a small smile, "Jayden mind-linked me and said you were upset and asked me to look after you!" At the mention of his name a new look flew across the room. "I take it you are not in a good place right now?" She asked with a small chuckle. It disappeared as soon as it made its way out, and then she looked down. "I'm sorry sis, I didn't mean to sound cold hearted. He said something bad happened, and you needed me here." I started sobbing again, and Sami just held me close. She rocked a bit back and forth and told me it would be okay. "Do you want to talk about it?" She asked. "She, she said that she is his chosen mate. But how can he have that and let me mark him? HOW CAN HE MARK ME?" I started talking, but ended up yelling, all my frustration coming out. "Who is she?" I scoffed, "Clarissa. That dumb wannabe barbie, who flung herself at my mate. Who belittled me, who told me I could be his mistress, if she allowed it?” Sami' mouth dropped open, and then her eyes went impossibly dark. "I am going to kill that son of a b***h! How dare he treat my sister like that?" I have mind-linked Storm and Max to get here right this instant, because we are going to murder. Wait, did you say that you guys have marked each other?" Sami stopped mid track, "uh. Y, yes. Why?" Then she started laughing so loud that I nearly jumped out of my skin. "Sami, what the actual heck" At the same time Storm and Max burst through the door, and then stopped to look at a laughing Sami and a scowling me.

"So would any of you two tell of why we were summoned here, and why we are killing Jayden?" Storm then looked at me closer, "oh and why my little sister had been bawling her eyes out?"

Sami started explaining everything, and by the end of it the guys looked utterly confused. "So, Clarissa is claiming to be Jayden' chosen mate, but he and you already marked each other?" Max clarified. "Yes, basically." I answered. "Don't worry sis, Jay can't stand that woman, never could. And besides you can't mark someone who is not the love of your heart, or if the other doesn't want it or only want it for power." Max reassured me, "besides, you can mark a chosen mate but only when you have built up a strong mate bond. But you can do it straight of if you both feel the bond strong and hold love for each other." He and Storm smirked, before Storm got a disgusted look on his face. "Eew I just remembered what it requires to mark each other. I do not want to know when my little sis has set." He shook his head and walked to the door, but before he could open it, then door opened, and Jayden walked in. He stopped mid track and paled visibly. "Uh, uhm hi guys." He swallowed hard, "don't you even try that we us mister! You funked up and good. You need to make this right." Sami said, then clapped him in the chest and lead Storm and Max out.

"Baby, I'm so, so sorry! I didn't know my mother had opened the door for me choosing a mate, but I promise you. I would never ever do that?! I have always wanted my fated mate and you are perfect. I love you Dana, and I am in love with you. I'm so sorry baby girl." He knelt down in front of me. I knew he wasn't lying because of my gift, and I knew I didn't blame him anything. He had kept our mind-link open, and I had followed his conversation with his mother sporadically. "Jayden. I love you too! I am in love with you as well, and that was why it hurt so much when she claimed you as hers. You are mine and I am not going to let you go!" Jayden sighed, and then he crashed his lips to mine. I moaned into his mouth, and it only fueled him on. His hands started rummaging my body, but I knew we needed to talk about this some more. "Jayden" I whispered breathlessly, "we need to talk about this situation." I could feel his emotions, and knew he dreaded what I had to say. "I will ask this one time only. Did you ever sleep with her?" His eyes widen, and he made gag sound. I started laughing at his antics, "I take that as a no." I chuckled. "Eew, I would never sleep with her. She is crazy, and because I have known her all my life, I really how crazy she is." I tilted my head, "she threatened us - well you, and promised to make me love her. So, I am going to keep an eye on her, and has ordered two of my most trusted me (besides Storm and Max) to keep her under close observation." My eyes grew dark with anger, "she is never getting anyway near you again! Even if I have to rip her to pieces." Jayden laughed at my jealousy and kissed my forehead. "No need my love, I have told her she is not welcome here again, and she is to stay away from you and I. I then showed her my mark, and she went on with the threats. That is also why I have the men following her.

I want to be up front and two steps ahead of her at all times." I nodded, and actually felt Jayden and I had grown closer and stronger of this experience. "You are wonderful babe." I said with all my love, before I kissed him with abandon again. This is getting heated and fast.

After the altercation with Clarissa, aka wannabe barbie, we ended up missing afternoon tea with his parents. We went down to dinner instead and Ada instantly went over to me, "Dana I am so, so sorry that my poor choice of words would affect you this way!" She was so sincere, and I just gave her a hug. "It's okay, we talked about it and we are fine. So, all is forgiven." My mom looked between Ada and me, and we went on to explain everything that had aspired that afternoon. To say everyone were livid is an understatement, they all wanted to kill Clarissa for her actions, but Jayden and I kept saying there was not reason enough to kill her 'yet', and if there were ever such a reason, I would be the one to do it!

After dinner we moved on to the living room, and everybody started talking about all Hallows eve in a few weeks. "We always host a huge costume party, and this year's is going to be EPIC!" Sami exclaimed excited. I giggled at her, and they looked to Jayden, "do you want to go as a couple costumes? Or something different each?" He grinned, "definitely a couples costume. What did you have in mind baby girl?" I smirked and knew exactly what I wanted us to go as, "it's a surprise." I said with a mischievous glint in my eyes. Jayden actually looked a little scared. This was going to be so much fun!
