Dana' Point of view

The last couple of weeks have been crazy with the party planning and costume finding. Jayden has let me decide what we are going to be, and I have kept it a secret. He has tried to get me to tell him, but I have been determined to not and have even hidden the costumes from him. I have decided for us to be Aladdin and Jasmine from the Disney movie. We have been planning together with Sami, Jordyn, Storm and Max, just their parents used to plan it before us. It was my first-time planning something like this, and I was nervous, but Sami kept telling me to chill and it was going to be an enormous success. I am currently sitting in my office, and making the last details of the party, which is tomorrow. When I heard a knock on the door, I yelled to come in. I get up immediately and run into his arms. He has been away the last couple of days due to work. "I have missed you!", he picked me up, and I wrapped my legs around him.

"I have missed you too, my love." He crashes his lips to mine and moves towards my desk. He then presses the button that locks the door and sits me down.

"Let me show you just how much I have missed you, baby girl.

" He swiftly lifts up my baby blue maxi dress, moves aside my panties, and rubs circles on my bud. He groans into our kiss as I am already soaking for him. I take care of his pants, and as soon as his length is free, he makes a swift motion and enters me. The best feeling in the world is when I moan out loud. I am always hungry for him, but these days it has been off the charts, because he has been so much away from home. We don't last long but finish together and reach each our climaxes. The feeling of unity with my loving, handsome man would never get old! It was like he made everything in me come alive, and I felt the world more when he was around.

We kept in place with our heads together. "I love you so much, my handsome mate." I say to him, and the megawatt smile he sends me, makes me wet all over again. I can feel him harden inside me, and then he starts moving.

"I love you just as much baby girl." No more words are needed, and as our second-round ends, we have ended on the floor. We cuddle together for a small while, and then clean up.

"So, what did you want when you came in here?" I ask with a chuckle, "Oh, I wanted to know if you wanted to go out on a date with me tonight?" I raise an eyebrow, "of because I do! What is the occasion?"

He smiles, "it's a secret for now, but please dress up." Then he clicks the lock and head for the door. Before he disappears, he blows me a kiss, and I feel giddy all over. This was a surprise, but Jayden really is the sweetest. I wonder what he has in store for tonight, when he wants me to dress up.

Jayden's P.O.V.

It had taken longer in Dana's office than I planned, but she was so f*****g sexy, and I can't help it. When she stood there in her baby blue maxi dress, her big eyes were full of lust and love. Ugh. She is everything to me, and everyone needs to know! I don't want to introduce her tomorrow at the ball without being at least engaged, so I really hope she'll say yes tonight. First; I had a reservation at the nicest restaurant in town. I suddenly remembered I didn't give her time to be ready, so I mind-link her quickly "baby girl, I forgot to give you a time for pickup. Be ready by the entrance at 5 pm, okay?" She agrees, and I make the way to the town in just 30 minutes, being the king to have its perks, and police rarely pulls me over. I stop at a beautiful flower shop and make them bring me the enormous bouquet of red and pink roses I had ordered in advance. Next off to the jeweler. The saleswoman, Winnie, has known our family for years on end and was delighted when I asked her to do the ring for my engagement. The ring is absolutely out of this world. We made it from fae gold, which is a mix of rose- and dark gold swirling seamlessly together. There is a big red Ruby in the middle with grey, green and blue diamonds surrounding it. It represents over love, and Dana's gorgeous eyes. She is my everything, and I love her more than could ever come to comprehend. She gives me life and is my life. I would give up everything in a heartbeat for her.

"Winnie, this ring is so beautiful. I don't even have words."

She gives me a big smile, "thank you, your highness. I am very pleased with it myself, and I'm beyond happy you like it. I wish you all the luck tonight with the proposal." Pay and leave the store.

I drive to the restaurant to make sure everything is in place and ready. Then I drive home again to get ready. I'm smiling so much, and don't even care who sees me! Hopefully tonight my woman will say yes to be my wife, and the entire world of supernatural and human alike will recognize her as the next queen! Even those humans who are oblivious to our world, knows we are royalty, they don't know of what, but that doesn't matter, anyway. I am thinking it throughout again and again while getting ready. 5 minutes to 5 I'm standing at the entrance hall in our home, and then I smell the sweet scent of my mate. As she appears on the stairs, my breath is taken away. She looks absolutely radiant in her light pink floor length dress. It is with a sweetheart neckline, and showing enough that you can imagine her mark, hugging her upper body and flaring out at the hips. She has on all the jewelry she got from me and the guys. Her make up is light and held in dusted pink colors. She is effortlessly beautiful and has a strength and confidence to her walk now. She has fully embraced her vampire side, and the perk from perfect balance is definitely helping her. I hold out a hand towards her and take her hand to my lips in a light kiss.

"You look like the queen you are." Her look of absolute love and adoration is almost having me reconsider and just proposing here so I can take my woman to bed instead. But I must go with the plan, and therefor opens the door. She sees the limo waiting for us outside, and she looks utterly confused.

"Is that for us?" She asks, "yes, we are going with style tonight." I answer and lead her over to the driver, who is holding the door for us.

Dana' Point of view

Jayden had rented a limo to pick us up. This was so nice, and really confusing. Why was he doing all of this? I had kept thinking of a reason as I got ready, but I hadn't come up with anything plausible. At first, I thought he might propose to me, but quickly tossed it aside. He wouldn't do that this early, even though everything inside me longed to belong even more to him, and for him to belong more to me. I took a really long shower and shaved everywhere to get ready for later. Under my light pink dress, I had a white lacy bra on and some white panties the matched. I put on my favorite make up and kept it light as usual. I didn’t like the feeling of too much makeup, and had never been one to wear it all the time. When I was finished getting ready, I left our room. I hadn't seen Jayden since his delayed mind-link, after he had asked me to dress up for our date night. He was so adorable, and only he would forget to give a time to be ready.

When I got to the stairs, he was waiting by the door, and my goddess. He always took my breath away, but tonight he was even more handsome than ever. He was in a hand tailored royal blue suit, with a light pink tie to match my dress. How had he known? He wore black dress shoes to the suit, and it sleeked his shoulder length hair back into a ponytail, and he looked. Wow! If this wasn't his idea, I would have dragged his ass back to our room and had my way with him. But that had to wait until later. When I reached the end of the stairs, Jayden took my hand, and then he kissed it. The way he spoke to me, so tender and loving. I didn't know what I would ever do without him. I realized how much I actually love him, and that would give my life to him anytime. We sat in the limo, just making small talk, and enjoying each other. Jayden opened a bottle of champaign, and we toasted. It was a lovely drive to town, and soon we arrived at this beautiful restaurant. "Wow!" was all I could say, and Jayden chuckled. "Yes, this is very nice, but you outshine it by a lot, my love." I have him a big smile as came out of the limo. Inside there wasn't any guest, and when I looked at Jayden, he just shrugged.

"I rented the hole place tonight, because I wanted this to be just you and I." My mouth dropped open. "You went all out, didn't you Mr. Hamilton?" He laughed at my remark. We sat down and Jayden ordered our food. It was a big spread of everything, but seafood in particular. I was so sweet. He remembered I love seafood.

"Mmmh, this is nice. But I still can figure out why you are doing this?"

I said, "do I really need a reason to ask my lovely mate out on a date?" He asked fake hurt.

"No, but you also didn't need to rent out the whole place for us to go on a date." I laughed. He smiled somewhat nervously, and I wondered for the 10000 time what was up?

After dessert, we were small talking when Jayden suddenly got up.

"Dana, mu baby girl, love of my life! I don't even know where to express what you make me feel?! We have only been together for a short period, but I feel like I have known you for a lifetime and more. You own my soul, my heart and all my being. I love you more than life itself, and I would be the happiest man alive if you would please accept to become not only the queen of my heart but also my wife?!" I was speechless, and I noticed how I had cried. Jayden sat before me with this tiny box in his hands that held the most beautiful ring I've ever laid my eye upon. He kept silent and glancing at me nervously.

"Dana?" Huh. Oh yeah, I hadn't answered him yet.

"Yes. Yes, I will marry you." I finally got the words out. I could hear suddenly cheers and applause around us, and when the lights came on again, our family and friends were standing there and looking so happy for us! Jayden put the ring on my finger and then lifted me into his arms. We kissed each other with abandon, and then we were surrounded by everyone who congratulated us. The rest of the night was a blur of smiling people and happy emotions. We were in a bliss, and I couldn't wait until our announcement tomorrow night.

It is the night of the ball, and I am so excited. Jayden's reaction to our costumes was better than I have suspected. But then again, after last night, I think he could have been going as a homeless human, and not have a care in the world. When we got home from the celebrations at the restaurant, we made love all night and only got to sleep in the wee hours of the morning. But it was definitely all worth it, and when I woke up this morning, they greeted me with his stunning smile. I can't believe we are engaged now. We have been together for over 2 months, but I feel like I have known him all my life. Everyone keeps telling me that is it normal for a supernatural relationship to run at lightning speed. I'm getting ready in my and Jayden's room with Sami, Jordyn, their friend Alyssa, my mom and Ada. Max's parents went to travel the vampire community right after I arrived and are not coming back until Christmas. "Girl, you look fine!" Sami says to me and pulls me out of my thoughts.

"Thank sis, so do you!" They dressed her as a female worrier, all down to the weapons.

"Jordyn, your 16 birthday starts at midnight. Do you think your mate is going to be here?" She blushes, "a part of me hopes so. Then another part of me hopes not." She looks down. "Why would you not hope your mate is here?" Alyssa speaks up. She is a werewolf, and just turned 18. Her brother is the Alpha of the white mist pack.

"I don't know. I just have this feeling like he is going to reject me. I don't think I am good enough to have a mate." Jordyn cried, and I rush over to comfort her.

"He is a damn lucky bastard, your mate, hun! And he will be a fool to let you go." I say, trying to calm her down.

She nods, "I just. I have always had a, a, uhm." She looks at Sami, who rolls her eyes.

"Yes, you have always had an eye for my brother, and he is a big old moron if he rejects you. And I will kick his ass into the next millennium if he even tries." She huffs. Jordyn laughs, and we follow.

"What about you Alyssa? Have you found your mate yet?" I ask when I catch my breath again. "No, he is not in our pack, and my brother is so damn overprotective. He is not letting me go anywhere. I had to get my parents involved to get to go tonight." She rolls her eye, "he has some aversion towards Jayden, and I do not know why. But ever since that vampire chick visited our pack, he has been broody and sour." I interrupted the conversation with knocking, and a maid is telling us it’s time to go.

Everyone goes down to the ballroom, but I must wait until I am introduced. This is so nerve-wracking, and I am trembling. Suddenly I hear Jayden's voice ring out, "welcome everyone! It is an absolute pleasure to have y'all here tonight. Before we get this party started, I need to introduce you to someone really special. 2 months ago, I found my mate, and your next queen. She is as beautiful as she is smart, fierce and powerful. She also did me the honor yesterday, to say yes to become my wife, and I know she will be a wonderful queen to all of you!" Cheering and clapping can be heard all over the room, and people is starting to get loud with whistles and calls. Jayden quiets down the crowd, and then he booms, "please treat her with respect, love and honor. And now it is my pleasure to present my fiancé and mate; DANA SANDERS!" The room is early quiet now as I walk to the stairs. As I decent I only have my eyes on Jayden. He is all that matters, and as long as I have my eyes on him, everything will be fine. I finally reach him, and he takes my hand in his. The crowd goes wild once again, and soon we are surrounded by people who wants to introduce themselves to me.

After things quiet down a bit, Jayden leads me to the food table. I set everything up as a buffet, and people can go to and from the dance floor to eat, drink and mingle.

"You are so beautiful tonight." Jayden whispers in my ear, "thank you! You look very handsome yourself. This Aladdin look suits you." I answer with a smile. Jayden chuckles. "What do you think of the party so far?" He inquires. "I love it. It is so grand and gorgeous, but you can also just be you if you don't feel like mingle. Also, the decorations are out of this world, I gush. We have decorations all over the mansion and outside on the patio. The garden is lit with fairy lights and warmers here and there, so that couples can go for a walk-in peace. Jayden takes my hand, and we head to the dance floor. It is a slow song, and we enjoy being in each other’s arms. This is so perfect, and I am proud of how everyone came together to throw this party.

At the door we can hear the doorbell keeps going off, and the staff is serving candies to kids in costumes. We are all having a blast, and even the staff is in costumes. The head of the staff asked me some time ago, and I thought it was a brilliant idea. We agreed on keeping the theme black and white for the staff, so they were easy to see, but still managed to blend in. I am having a really good time dancing and laughing with Jayden's dad, when suddenly I receive a mind-link from Sami. I grab Jayden out of a conversation with some high-ranking wizards, apologies for interrupting, and drag him to the situation. Sami was rambling, so I didn't catch it all. But I did get the part where Alyssa apparently found her mate. When we arrive at the group surrounding them, I see Aron looking intently at Alyssa and she is crying. WHAT. THE. HECK?! I push past the group. "What in all the world is going on here?" I demand. People start talking over each other, and I hold up a hand. "I think it is best if only one of you explains, and that one needs to be Aron, Sami or Alyssa. But seeing as Alyssa is crying her eyes out and Sami is comforting her, I think Aron is up." He swallows hard, "I don't know what to say your highness. Alyssa is my mate, well my second chance mate. But she is to young, and innocent. I don't know if I am ready for a new mate, I.." He trails off, a guilty look in his eyes, and then he looks at Alyssa. "It's not you. I just, I have been through the death of my first mate and I'm not sure if I can do that again." Sami is furious, "so you decide on the spot what she needs or not, or if SHE wants you? You don't even want to take into consideration if she wants you, and don't give a damn about your past?" I mind-link storm to come get his sister, because she needs to cool off. He comes at get her, but she is not leaving without a fight.

"I think we should wrap this up and take it to my office." I say and start walking. Jayden is hot on my heel; he has been quiet all this time. I just know he wants to see how I am going to handle this situation. He is there, and I can feel how he is silently support me in this and it makes me so happy. We all arrive outside my office, and I walk in first. I gesture for everyone to take a seat, "so this is all very confusing. Why would you not want a second chance mate Aron? And did you reject her already?" He winces but shakes his head. "So, for all I know, you and Alyssa is mates, and you will figure this out." He opens his mouth to interrupt me, but I cut across him, "I don't want to hear it, Aron. You are throwing away the mate bond for nothing! You say that you are afraid, but don't give it any thought on what this poor girl is thinking." She looks shameful, "Alyssa, I really want your take on this. Do you still want Aron as your mate?" She is silent for a while, "y, es, yes. I want him like I've never wanted anyone before. He is perfect for me, and I don't care about the age different or the fact that I am his second chance. " She looks at Aron, and I can see he is flattered by his words. "You two will figure this out together, and weather it is to be together or reject each other, you will do it in mutual understanding. This is not to be taken lightly." The last words are directed to Aron, and he knows it. "I think you should take some time to talk and get to know each other. Alyssa you are welcome in our home as long as you'd like." I look to Jayden at the last part, and he nods. "You heard my queen. We will not take any decisions tonight, and both of us wants to be kept in the loop. Mates are a precious gift, and we will not treat that bond recklessly!" Everyone nods, "now let’s get back to the party, because it is a little to midnight and my sister is about to turn 16.! Jayden stands up and takes my hand. We all, except Alyssa and Aron, heads to the ballroom again. We arrive a few minutes to midnight, and Jayden gets everyone' attention, "listen up please. We are near midnight, and my sister Jordyn is about to turn 16. So will you all join me in a birthday song and help me wish her a big congratulation." We all sing happy birthday, and when the clock strikes midnight at big bright red 5 tier birthday cake is rolled in. Jordyn looks at it with tears in her eyes and is so occupied she doesn't realize someone is growling nearby. One of her friends has an arm draped around her shoulder, and when he gives her a birthday kiss on the cheek, the growl becomes more obvious.

Suddenly a figure rushes forward, throws her friend of her, and yells "MINE"! Wow, I hoped for this, but I didn't actually expect it. Jayden is scowling at the couple, who is not lost in each other’s eyes.
