Chapter 20 Italia

Once my dad told me they went looking for Ares for what he did,I was scared for him,I know what he did to me was awful but I loved him the first time I saw him.

When we got to the dungeon and hearing say those words to me my heard crushed in million pieces,They way he was saying he loved Jane it was the worst pain I could endure.

He humiliated me Infront of my whole family,I was frozen and never shared a tear but deep down it was like devil was burning my heart in hell.

Claire decided to sleep with me that night,I was miserable,I didn't want to live anymore,How can I want to when my mate,my other half be cruel to me and crush me with every word he said.

Next day was another scene,Ruth killed all the guards to hurt uncle Michael, Michael was so hurt,he didn't even want to talk with Claire or anyone,I didn't blame him.

How could you face the hurt members about their loved ones? How can you say sorry to them when you know the dead will not come back?

Claire at least got to him until later Alpha Michael spoke to the pack,It was not enough or could bring the guards back but we supported each other.

The next day I was making myself lunch when Alpha Michael called me, my parents, Laura and Alpha John to sitting room.

He specifically said it was about me and my parents,I started to panic immediately.

He told us that Ares is outside the pack with Claire,Now that was a heavy blow,How could Claire didn't tell me? but I guess we had to find out ourselves.

When they both got in I was shocked seeing Ares so nervous and shaking but I couldn't blame him,that day my dad and uncle Michael almost killed him.

Claire explained everything that Ares said to her,Ruth and Jane deserved to die painfully,They first killed the guards and now we have to live scared.

I didn't know how to feel about everything especially when Ares was around.

He said that he isn't sure he will see me again because Ruth is going to kill him because he doubt his loyal to them.

I couldn't take it anymore and went to hug him,I could accept him not loving but losing him was something I didn't want to hear,He asked for forgiveness and I forgive him because I love him still.

My dad cleared his throat roughly and said

"ITALIA ARE YOU REALLY SURE IS WHAT YOU WANT? DONT FORGET WHAT HE DID TO YOU ITALIA,WHAT IF HE DO IT AGAIN? FORGIVING HIM IS LIKE GIVING HIM A CHANCE AGAIN TO HURT YOU." My dad spoke

He was low shouting at me but I understood him and his words.

"Beta Jayden with all your respect,yes I did hurt your daughter in a cruel way and I know I don't deserve her forgiveness but please if Italia give me a chance to correct my mistakes I will happily correct them, Please Beta Jayden and beta Nadia." Ares said

He spoke generous,the truth was all over his eyes.

"Ahm Ares you really left Italia in a bad state last time she saw you,she wasn't eating and not doing good with her grades at school but still she forgives you, Please Ares don't hurt my child again,I'm only doing this for my baby,I see in her eyes how she really loves you even after what you did to her."

My mom said that to Ares,her words warmed my heart.

"Italia I want you to be happy bestie,you forgave him guess I will forgive him too,Ares if you ever hurt her again,You will hear from me." Claire said smiling at me and threatened Ares.

I smiled widely at How sweet my bestie was with her words and I know with that threatening part,she was telling the truth.

"Believe me Ares,if it wasn't for Italia,I would've cut your b*lls,so lets see how you treat her first then I would think better about you."

David said it winking at me and I gladly chuckled.

"Well Ares if all my family approve of you then I will wait until you hurt Italia again and I will break your neck."

Uncle Michael said it in a serious tone.

My dad looked sad but still said "Oh my daughter I will try to accept him but not now." I nodded with a smile

Alpha John and Laura just nodded where is necessary or chuckled.

Alpha Michael said Ares can stay in a spare room until we all deal with Jane and Ruth.

My family said they have something to do but they will leave me and Ares to check up,I was nervous,I didn't know where to start,it was like a dream I didn't believe came true But I felt like something is going to happen today,I didn't know what it is but it was weird.

"Don't be nervous Italia I m still that guy you met,I'm really sorry and I'm ready to accept us as mate fully and make you happy for the rest of my life Italia."

I blushed hearing him say those words to me.

"Truly speaking I'm nervous Ares and I'm truly happy now you see me as your fated mate."

I gave him a small smile and said

"But I feel weird like something is going to happen." I concluded

He crossed his eyebrows and said in a concerned tone"Something like what Italia?"

"I don't know maybe it is because you finally came and I have all this mixed emotions."

" Sweetie,I promise you to never leave you again and I got you baby,if something happens,I will be there to protect you."

I smiled and gave him a hug.

Alpha Michael and the rest came inside the sitting room and said that protection barrier will be finished tomorrow.

We were sitting chatting,Ares told us about his parents and what a old man did to save him,He feels like he disappointed him by dropping out of college and promise to go back again.

It was nice seeing family all together, talking, laughing and sharing stories but the black smoke appeared in front of us,We knew Ruth was here.

There stood Jane and Ruth.

We were all astonished and Ares pale.we all stood up.

"Hahaha look who we have here,Jane didn't I tell you about your traitor huh?,He is here spilling the beans,ain't I right traitor huh hahaha?"

"No Ruth you got it all wrong,Ares could never do that to me right?"

She said it in a seducing way, trying to charm my mate.

"Ruth is right Jane,I did awful things to my mate Italia but I think is time I correct myself and by saying that is I don't want you anymore in my life and when I come to my apartment I mustn't get you there."

He said it in a calm way

"You i***t,who would want a thing like you anyway?"

she said that smirking at me

"Italia do want this thing." He pointed at himself and continued"Unlike you who want Alpha Michael who already showed you many times he will always choose Claire then you b***ch."

Ares said while Jane couldn't believe Ares said that Infront of Ruth.

Ruth didn't hear right she shouted

"What? Noo, please tell me I didn't hear right?"

She said that walking slowly at Jane.Hair standing high,eyes were black you couldn't even see her green eyes and hands changing to black electric lightning.

"NO PLEASE IS NOT LIKE THAT RUTH IF YOU KILL ME NOW HOW WILL YOU GET MY SOUL? YOU NEED IT REMEMBER?"

Jane said those words going backwards, shaking and shivering.

We all gasped,not believing that Jane could go this far to sell her soul to the devil.

"Hahaha Now now Jane excuse my behavior I almost forgot you belong to me but you."

She pointed to Ares "You traitor,you die today."

Electric black power shot through and went to Ares, everyone was in horror,Ares looked at me with one drop of tear rolling down his cheek and said

"I love you my mate."

I didn't think twice and jumped between the electric black power and Ares.

It hit me straight in my heart,it threw me on a wall and I collided on the floor with a loud thump.

I watched them screaming 'NO' ,Ares rushed beside me and kneeled,I inhaled his scent for the last time and I watched him in the eyes and said

"I love you Ares" and darkness took me.
