Bicycle Ride Excursion
They mounted the bicycles and set off along a narrow dirt path, trees lining both sides.
“I can’t balance very well… I’m going to fall!” she cried.
With calm confidence he replied, “If you fall… I’ll fall with you.”
Hours passed in love, joy, and laughter between Adel and Naomi. At times Naomi rode while Adel sat in front of her; at others, Adel took the lead and Naomi sat ahead of him. They fell, rose again, brushed the dust from their clothes, and continued laughing.
Naomi screamed every time the bicycle wobbled, and Adel burst into loud laughter, which made her laugh too despite her fear.
She shouted as the bicycle tilted to one side, “Adel… I’m going to die!”
He answered, laughing, “Just keep it straight… it’s simple!”
