Chapter 4

Gwen 

I cried whole night because last night I had felt as if Leandro had gone far away from me and now me reaching to him is impossible. I looked down and found the note in my hand which was also in red colour. It says.

Nothing in this world is made for you. You are destined to be lonely and you will remain lonely. 

There is nothing written further and this words are also printed so it is impossible for me to tell who had written this. I am still sitting in front of the pool whose water is now once again normal but I still can't process how could a person come in the locked house and do all this thing. 

I looked over for Tsetan and other police officer who were looking here and there to find the clue about the person who had done all this thing. The water was changed after police investigated it. It might not much scary but it had shook me to the core and I don't really know how to respond to this surrounding. I felt someone sat beside me and I looked at my side and found Tsetan. He wasn't looking at me but in his front and I also looked at my front and found my teddy bear which was cut brutally. Tsetan  had concluded that someone is there who wants me to me terrified.

"There is literally no clue about the person and the footprints are also faded, so it is hard for us whose footprints it must be." He sighed." I don't know who had done this but by this thing I could only conclude is that that person hates you so much." 

"But I have never harm anyone. Then why would someone hate me or correct word to replace is that why does that person loathe me?" 

"I don't know anything as I wasn't with you but don't worry we will find the person." I nodded and something struck me.

"Can this be possible that the person who had done this killed Leandro in order to hurt me?" I asked him and he looked at me and then looked away.

"You were close to Leandro, so this could be possible." It sank my heart and realized that Tsetan is also getting closer to me.

"Tsetan I think you should also keep your distance with me. I am afraid if the person know that you are also near me than he/she won't hesitate to kill you as well." He chuckled and I was confused." I am not joking around." I snapped at him.

"Did I mention that you are joking around?" I shook my head and he pulled me close and a question popped inside my brain. Why does he always pull me closer? "Because I think that you need them and want someone close to you."

"Did I said my question aloud?" He nodded and I face palmed and he chuckled and swipe my fingers from on of my eye and looked at him and found him looking so much handsome when he chuckles."Do you chuckle every time?" I asked him and he looked at me.

"No, this is the first time that I am this much happy just by having you by my side. You haven't seen my other side which is very rude. I hope when you will come to my company at that time I will show you the real me." I blushed a bit when he said those words in my ears. Then he moved away and I could feel that I was happy. Few minutes ago I was all sad and was depressed but after I talk with Tsetan I am all good and feeling good as well.

"Gwen." I heard a cold voice yet warning voice and I looked up and found my aunt and she was looking at me only and I was scared for a while.

"Y-Yes?" I asked.

"Follow me, I have to talk with you." I nodded and she turned around and I got up and followed her and we were in the  guest room and she looked back at me and her face was serious. "

"What happened aunt?"

"What was that?"

"What was what?"

"Our new tenant talking to you. Are you creating a relationship with him?" That shocked me.

"No,  no. He is just nice to me."

"Leandro was also nice to you and many more but what they all got was died."

"Rihanna." I heard a roaring voice and I looked back and found my uncle who was in the rage. He storm inside and stood between me and my aunt. "Rihanna, you are again bringing up all this thing when I have strictly told you not to talk about this. You are well aware why Lina died and why my brother died. You are well aware that there isn't any fault in her then why are you again and again telling her a curse when she is not. It was just the fate of my brother and his wife that they had suffered and maybe bad sins as well but don't you forget that Gwen didn't do anything to none of the people." She rolled her eyes and this made me curious. What had happened to my mother and father that caused them to die.

"But you also know that after she had come this all things started to happen."

"That is your narrow mindedness that you are reluctant to see the real treasure with which she had come here with. I hope I am clear and I also hope that you will never call her that again or else I don't know who I will do." My uncle said and took my hand and bring me out of there. This wasn't the first time when he had saved me but many times and had always loved me likes his daughter and I am grateful that I have him in my life. We stopped in the mid hallway and he looked at me.

"Gwen, don't listen to you aunt word and no one else as well. They are saying just because they don't know the truth but I am unable to understand why your aunt is saying like that. She is well aware of the situation but she is trying to act impulsive. Don't worry no one will hurt you until I am alive." I smiled and he kissed on my forehead.

"Uncle one thing I want to ask. Can I?"

"That is?"

"You have just mentioned that there was cause because of what my mother and father died. Can I know what is that?" He sighed.

"Gwen, I can't answer this question now as you are still young and a life ahead and don't bring this topic in front of anyone. When the time will be right you will know what is happening around you. After all I can't hold you back from the truth for long and by the way your sister is coming back today." He said and went away and I was left there only and felt as if someone is watching me and I looked back but didn't find anyone but at the time I was feeling so much creepy. I felt a bump on my shoulder and I looked at my side and the person came in front of me and that was none other than Tsetan.

"I was looking for you only. I saw your aunt took you away and was looking serious. Everything is alright?" He asked and I nodded with smile.

"Everything is alright." I said and he nodded and grabbed my wrist and took me from there. I had just met him yesterday but I am already feeling an attachment between us. I am afraid that I am at the edge of falling for him and I am afraid if the person who is doing this with me will hurt him then what will I do. He is generous, nice and handsome and has so much life ahead. I think I should maintain the distance with him in order to save him because now I can't afford to lose more people.
