That first shy and unplanned meeting of Rodney and Hecuba was followed by many more dates. Hecuba stayed for fifteen days in London and she went out with Rodney almost every day. Her friend, a little bit annoyed, toured around London by herself, almost from the moment that Hecuba met with Rodney. They went together in pubs, cafes, different ethnic restaurants or traditional English taverns. They had many common interests: books, theatre, cinema, travelling. Both of them were good at conversing and their favorite pastime was to sit in a quiet place, having a drink and talking about everything.
