Chapter 19
The next surprise wasn’t long in coming and it wasn’t fatal. Not for Jenna or the others aboard the Hind, at least. At some point in the past it had been fatal for those aboard the wrecked shuttle which was now showing up on sensors. It was floating near the Tagrale and hardly seemed to be moving, but Jenna recognised the signs of the small changes in its position.
“It’s caught in a gnarly area of gravity differences,” she said. “Judging by the damage it looks like it hit a shear which tore the shuttle open and killed those on board. Then it drifted to where it is now.”
“Damn, that’s a bad way to go,” said Harry.
