Chapter 11
“All rise.”
Jenna joined the rest of the courtroom in standing as the three judges returned. There was no jury for this case. No one felt any jury could be found that would give a fair trial, that would make decisions without previous bias. The judges would be able to put aside their feelings and make a fair judgement.
In theory, at least. Was anyone truly untouched by the events at the Tagrale? Jenna doubted it. The loss of life seemed to have taken second string to the shock that the Tagrale might have been damaged.
For some it was because the Tagrale held near religious status, for others it was still a possible gateway back to the stars. For both groups the thought of it being damaged was an awful one, and the person responsible for letting off the fusion bomb was
