The Fallen Moonlight

Third person's POV Long time ago in the Enchanted World of Crescent Orphiana, the Zethina Kingdom who live in peace for a long time after defeating the King of demon Mellinore by Artemis the Zethinia Moon Knight. Artemis got married to the Princess of Zethina, and they live in peace, in the land of Crescent Orphiana Till then, there's a new foundation of darkness, that emerge from the shadows. It will soon bring a destruction to the whole Enchanted World of Crescent Orphiana... ⟩⟩ One night in Zethina Kingdom Artemis' POV I was waiting outside at my wife's room; she's giving birth to my child. I'm really worried now; she's been taking an hour. The door of my wife's room open, then Kailey my wife's midwife went outside carrying a baby, "here's your son my king" she said handing me the baby. I immediately took the baby then carry it with in my arms, "how's my wife?" I ask "She's now fine my King, she's unconscious after giving birth to the prince, but now she's resting" she answered "Thank goodness, she's fine" I said "Excuse me my king, I have to cook for the lady" she walked away, then I sigh a relief I look at my son sleeping in my arms peacefully, I smiled and whisper "everything's going to be fine my son" then I kiss his forehead I went inside my wife's room, and I saw her sleeping in peace. I put my son beside her, I'll do anything for my family, even if it causes life and death' I said in mind. I should go now too; I kiss both of their forehead then went outside... .... I went outside, walking in the sidewalk of the castle leading me to an open field garden. I let the Cold breeze of the wind touch my skin, it's been peaceful, I hope this will last longer. It's cold out here, but it went colder when I sense some strange aura from behind. The trees and plant rustle because of the wind. It's very quiet until someone chuckled then spoke up "King Artemis, why are you walking outside with in this hour?" A strange male voice coming from behind "Who are you?" I asked with authority. "I know you know me" he answered and chuckled, he showed himself under the shadows, then I saw his crimson eyes reflected at the moon light, and it's indeed magnificent. "Spade??" ...I know him, he's a friend of mine, a very close friend of mine. We're been best friend since childhood, but I didn't knew he's alive, I thought he's death after we defeated the demon king. "It's been a long time my King", he said as he bowed his head. He's wearing a black robe with a black hood, paired with black boots below knee. "You startled me Spade", I said He laughs, "thanks to what you've done to my father", he said sarcastically "Your father, what do you mean?" I asked him with a confused tone, I don't know his father since we're a kid, I know Spade is just an orphan child. "Don't you remember what you did to him in Zethina?" he asked "In Zethina? I didn't see him there, I thought you're just an orphan", I answered and made his palm fold into a fist "Oh really, you didn't see him there, what about to the Demon King?", he asked "The Demon King? Yes, and we defeated him once, and he didn't stand a chance to live in this world", I answered "So, you have slain my father" he said calmly but deep, full of anger and coldness "What? Wait, wait, your father is the Demon King?", I asked "STOP!! Stop asking any questions!!" As he shouted, I felt his aura transcend, and let go of a deep sigh, "Hmm I think this garden will be a good playground" his lip curve into smirk then he summons a curse field "Are you serious? We can't argue right now, I don't understand you, this is a whole misunderstanding" I said in a confused serious tone, I don't really understand what's happening now "Do I look like I'm kidding? Are you scared my king?" he chuckled "I'll destroy your Kingdom like how you destroyed mine!! He shouted then laugh evilly I don't let this end now, but I'm worried that there's a chance that he can surely defeat us "You want some fight I can give you that, but please don't harm my family" I said deep and coldly, I'm dead serious here "Pfft HAHA!!! You haven't change Artemis, you think I will not harm them?! I guess your right...I will not harm them... but I'll destroy them all!! he started summoning the curse demon sword Wait----what?! How did he get that thing?! That's the sword of the demon king, or should I say his father, but how? it should vanish that long time ago, Arrgh!!! "YOU TRAITOR!!!" As I shout summoned the Zethina Crescent Sword "Let's start the game" he said with a smirk on his face, he wave his sword letting go of a great force and impact, the sword is much stronger now than ever. I was thrown by the great impact of his sword, I can't let it end like this, I stand up running towards him then I attack him but he dodges, I kick his stomach that made him choke blood, I stab him from behind but he teleported behind me then strike my left shoulder that made a small slit on my skin. He was about to attack me again with his sword but I use my sword as a defense. On that position I saw his whole face, his face is still young as a teen. I clearly remembered Spade my childhood friend, the one with a pinkish lip with a vibrant smile but now plastered with a lunatic smirk, the one with vibrant blue eyes but now hidden with scarlet eyes full of anger and sorrow, he changed so much. I was distracted by his eyes not until he summons a dagger then stab it on my stomach, I choked some blood, but I dragged his head using his long raven black hair in the air, then I punch his stomach, I pin him in the ground then punch his face many times, until I heard some explosion near the palace that made me stop. He stabs my shoulder with his dagger then laugh evilly "HAHA!! You're so foolish to fight me without knowing I have some few minions that are ready to attack!" He laughs again, I was furious, I didn't know that his not alone I started saying a chant "With the power of the great moon, let your light shine with a great destruction" then the moon light turns to a cage then lock Spade inside, then lightning started striking him from inside. I have no time much left; I have to rescue my wife inside the palace, I hope the knights are doing well ⟩⟩Kailey (Queen's midwife) POV I'm at the room of Queen Luna, waiting for her to wake up, I was about to leave her room until I hear some loud explosions near the castle "My Queen wake up!!, wake up!!" I shouted to wake her up, but I receive no response Sorry my queen, but I have to do this I slapped her hard as I can, gladly I see her frown from the pain in her cheek "W-what's happening?" she asked "My Queen the whole kingdom is under attack! we need to escape my Queen!" I answered "Where? Where's my prince?" she asked as she stood up "He's sleeping in the cradle" I answered, I help her to stand up but she swipes away my hand and immediately run to the wall and push a brick, I was shocked when the wall open and I saw a chest, she opened the chest and took something "Take my child and this key for the passage through Alvanor, this key will help you to open the portal to that another world, you shall seek the portal through the dungeon in the north west of Crescent Orphiana. "But my Queen--" "Don't say such thing, just go away from this place" I immediately took the prince from his cradle, then I saw a door way behind the chest, she pushes me there "Just follow this passage, you would be outside in this castle, and take a good care to my son, I love you my prince" then she kissed the forehead of her son "Go away now", she commanded, then the wall closed After that I ran away... Artemis' POV I left Spade at the Cage, I went back to the palace, I saw my wife fighting with some sort of creature, I don't know what it is, but I know that's one of Spade's minions A stroke of lightning came out of my hands then five of the creatures turned to ash, I went to my wife "What are you doing here?!" She smiled at me weakly, I sigh "you should be taking a rest" "There's no time to rest, there are many demons and monsters around the castle, do you think I would waste my time for resting??" She answered "What about my-" I didn't finish my sentence when my wife started to attack again the few enemies I summon my spear heads then realize them attacking the few creatures, while my wife stared to freeze the others I was about to run and go to the other side of the castle when I felt someone pierce my side attacking me from behind, I screamed and turn around Argh Spade, He run towards me with a ball of fire in his hands, he is really the son of that demon, I made a shield barrier as a defense Till my last breath I will save my kingdom and the whole Orphiana "What an amateur defense" he said as he chuckled, he pulled out his sword as it turns to a scythe and stroke the barrier. My wife helped me to make the barrier stronger by making another one made of ice "Argh this is useless" she murmured I frown as I saw the shield slowly breaking "Get out of here--" I didn't finish my sentence because of the force from the complete devastation of the shield that thrown me away from my wife. I was about to stand but a few creatures stomped my stomach that made me choke, those creatures laugh evilly as it saw my blood flow, they did it again and again but then again, I throw my spear to them then they turned to ash. I look back to see my wife but I saw nothing but ash. Darn where are them, I run and look for my wife but there is no sign of here nor tracks. Until I saw blood... I followed the tracks of the blood that led me to the forest, the tracks are slowly fading and I just saw myself at a familiar place. I look around remembering the place, the place looks so devastated, I think some sort of war happed in this place. Dead plants, trees, animals, bones, and the ground is also dried, I hear nothing but the wind whistling...but then I hear footsteps from behind walking towards me. "Miss this place?" A male voice spoke up, and I know who's the owner of it. "Spade..." I said coldly, "Where's my wife?" I asked full of anger yet calm. "Pfft HAHAH, now you're joking" he said as he laughs "You see no sign of her right? Nor strand of her hair there's nothing. Yet you still look for that woman? HAHA you really know how to make me laugh my friend" "I said where is she" I balled my first waiting of an answer "She's no longer standing in this world my friend" I frown from what he'd said "And now it's your turn" I said with a deep anger inside me, as the atmosphere tense. This demon should go to hell where he belongs. I once again summon my spears and throw it towards him aiming his head, he smirked from my attack as he dodges and waved his sword letting go a great force of motion, I swayed my sword declining his attack and flick my fingers to summon more spears and attack him once again. He flips, then run towards me with his hand on fire, he punches his hand to me making a small burn but the impact of it made me moved backward. I summoned a huge arm at my side using light and wrapped him using it. He struggles yet ignites that made my light arm burn, but I sent an electric shock on my summoned arm that made him stop and struggles. But then, four fire spears came out from his back that attacked me, I dodge the one pair but two spears strike both of my shoulders that made a slit and damn it burns, I accidentally let go of him and he jumped out of it as he summons his scythe and stroke me from behind, I lose my guard that he yanked my hair up "Pathetic king, I didn't expect you to be so weak, where's the Artemis that defeated the demon king?" He said and flicked his tongue "You now have nothing but your pride my friend, why not just give up and let me rule the whole Orphiana, in that way--" I didn't let him finish his sentence when I knee his abdomen then he gagged me up and slap me hard with his fired hand I scream from the pain then he stroke me using his scythe, he summoned his dagger and stab me using it, I felt I'm burning from the pain. I can't no longer move, nor move my fingers and toes, I can't feel my body all I just hear is my heartbeat, all I just knew is that I'm paralyzed. Gladly I reign my vision and saw Spade playing my hand with his dagger, stabbing each space of my fingers until he stabs my palm, I scream from the pain but he just laugh psychopathically, then stab my abdomen again, I screamed. He laughs, until he physically cut my vocal cords. I screamed from the pain but it all came out is just a squeal. He flicks his fingers then I saw fire around me, but I realized I'm the ones who's burning, I didn't try to scream cause it's useless, I close my eyes as I felt scorching pain, until I can no longer feel and visualize. The last thing I hear is a psychopath laugh "Rest in peace my Friend"... ⟩⟩Third Person's Point of View The whole Crescent Orphiana was covered in darkness after the death of the King "Artemis", the kingdom has fall down to the demon Prince's hand "Spade" and now the reigning King of the whole Orphiana. But then... little they don't know is that, there's this world who's fighting for rights and freedom, who raise an army that are trained to bring back the lost light. Will they taste victory?
