[Nerly's P.O.V]
Sandy and I freshen up and headed out for breakfast. Mom and Dad travelled leaving us all by ourselves. We headed to our favorite restaurant and sat to have some coffee while we waited for our breakfast to be served. We spoke about random stuff and how exciting college is going to be.
"It's so sad we can't be in the same college but trust me we'll get on touch most of the time and if possible we'll hang out" Sandy said.
"Sure we will and promise me you ain't gonna put anyone above me" I replied sounding worried.
"I promise" she said.
Our breakfast was soon served and halfway through the meal, the popular guys(excluding Gideon) came around sitting on the same table with us.
"Hello beautiful," the black guy who I now know to be Mickey said with a smirk on the face but his focus was on Sandy. It was her turn to blush.
"How can we help you?" I asked politely.
"Calm down princess, we just want to join you for breakfast and also invite you over to a party this evening at Joseph's house" replied a guy with blonde hair.
"Tony cool down" Mickey said to the blonde haired guy.
"I'm sorry but we have plans for today and because of that we can't come" Sandy said calmly.
"Don't be rude beautiful" Mickey said in a hurt tone and Sandy apologized but still turned down their offer.
"I guess we gotta get going" Sandy said, we stood up and left the guys at the table.
"So are they stalking us or what?" I asked feeling irritated.
"I don't know Nerly but if we entertain them they'll take advantage of that so we have to be extra careful" Sandy replied in a serious tone.
"Okay now let's not allow these stalkers ruin our day let's head to the mall" I said dragging my bestie from the arm.
"Alright, alright relax we're going" she said. We went to the mall and shopped for whatever we thought we would need after 3 hours.
It was 2pm when we finally decided to leave the mall since we were both hungry and tired. We stopped by our favorite restaurant again to have lunch before we pick a cab home since none of us brought our car. After our lunch, we went out of the restaurant to wait for a cab to take home but surprisingly a car pulled up in front of us and offered us a ride. I politely refused the offer when I saw who it was, Gideon, but Sandy gladly accepted since he was not too much of a bad guy leaving me no other option than to join her. We sat sat the back seat after Gideon being a gentleman opened the door for us. This act from him made my cheeks red leaving me no other choice than to blush. He kept our shopping bags at the car boot, went back to the driver seat and drove to the main road leading to my home. There was an awkward silence throughout the ride and to ease up that atmosphere, he turned on the music. Soon enough we reached home, I don't know how he got to know my house but I can't bring myself to asking him so I thank him for the ride and he in return gave a smile and drove off after handing our shopping bags to us.
Without my parents the house was usually boring because my brothers are always playing video games which I hate but this time around it's gonna be different with Sandy by my side.
Sandy gets along with my brothers very well and is able to convince them to allow us have fun just for a few hours. Henry was reluctant but since he trusts Sandy he allowed us to do as we wish but with conditions. After giving his long lecture he excused himself leaving Sandy and I to do whatever we want to do.
