Chapter 4
It has been 3 days since dumating kami dito sa USA ni Cav. I have been stuck at home since wala akong kasama gumala. Daddy B was busy with work and so is Cav. Ayaw kasi nila akong umalis na walang kasama dito dahil baka kung ano daw mangyari sa akin.
Daddy visits frequently naman but mabilis lang talaga dahil may work pa sha and he has his own family to tend to. Today, Cav is picking me up after his meeting dahil baka bagot na daw ako dito sa bahay, so he’s taking me to one of his business meeting sa isang resort. We will be spending one night there so I am currently packing swimsuits. Mommy prepared a lot for me kaya pala ang laki ng baggage ko.
After packing, I went downstairs to cook lunch. Cav is pretty late, sabi nya kasi before lunch sha dadating and we can eat together. But since antagal nya, magluluto nlng ako and we can eat here para naman makainom na ako ng gamot ko.
Syempre healthy ang food natin, more gulay. Cooking is easy and since eto lang naman hobby ko sa bahay naming, nakasanayan ko na talaga. I heard a car parked on the drive way, for sure its Cav na.
“Sis, sorry I’m late,” he said as soon as he got inside.
“Oh wow, that smells great!” napa simhot simhot pa sha sa ere. Napatawa tuloy ako.
“Just in time Cav! Let’s eat here” I smiled at him and he walked pass me to get the plates and utensils. I served the vegetables I cooked and we ate together.
“Delicious as always sis. Thank you” sabi nya sabay lamon ng broccoli.
“Of course. By the way, bat ka pala natagalan?” I asked.
“Yeah, sorry about that. Something came up the last minute and I had to fix it since wala si Jack kanina dahil nasa business trip.” He replied.
“Oh okay, no worries.” I took a slice of the fish I cooked and gave Cavin one. He doesn’t like fish that much that is why I always tease him by giving him one kasi d naman nya ako matatanggihan. I saw his slightly grumpy face and I smiled at him.
“Right, I heard you met with Jack the last time you went to the office?” he raised his brow.
“Yeah, he is a funny guy.” I said as I grabbed a cup of water and drank.
“He didn’t try anything funny to you, did he?” this time he looked serious.
“What do you mean by funny? And no, he was so good to me. He even help—” I stopped, I shouldn’t be telling him Jack almost got into a fight because of me, I will just worry Cav.
He noticed me stop midair so he dropped his spoon and fork and looked at me seriously. Ooops.
“Continue sis” he demanded.
“Hehe he even helped me carry the take out! Such a gentleman!” Nice save Scar!
He looked at me as if he wasn’t entirely convinced but after he let out a sigh.
“Alright.” He said. He stood up “We will be leaving in 15 minutes. Get ready.”
“Aye-aye capt’!” I replied. I drank my medication and put the plates and utensils on the dishwasher. I went upstairs to check the things that I will be bringing with me and of course double checked my medication. It will be a 2-hour drive from our house.
I heard a knock.
“You ready to go sis?” Cav changed into a casual wear. He looks a lot like dad even though we are twins.
“Yup! I’m excited, I haven’t been outside the past few days.” I giggled.
“Sorry about that. I just don’t want you to collapse somewhere without me.” He looked worried.
“I understand Cav. But as soon as we land at Philippines, lessen your worries, I got myself. Okay?” I smiled. He smiled back and went over me and kissed my forehead. How did I get such a sweet brother! He carried my bag downstairs and we headed to his car. He is driving since nauna na daw ang secretary nya sa resort to take care of other things para ready na daw sa pagdating naming.
The drive to the resort was great. He told me we are going to his friend’s resort. I can’t wait to see what it looks like.
“Scar? Wake up.” I heard a voice calling me, it was Cav. Nakatulog pala ako di ko man lang namalayan.
“We are here” he informed me.
We went out the car and I saw his assistant waiting for us near the entrance. It is such a grant resort! I looked up and the building says ‘De Soliel’ that is an unfamiliar name. well, I don’t really know who Cav’s friends are since I never met them.
“Let’s go?” he ushered me. Someone took our bags and we met with his secretary in front.
“Good afternoon Mr. Go, Ms. Go. Your rooms are already prepared. This way please” she led the way at pagkapasok naming sa building mas namangha ako sa design and how humungous this place is. Elegant and enticing at the same time. We rode the elevator and we reached the 10th floor. Cav is busy talking with his assistant so I didn’t butt in. I just followed them.
“here’s your room Mr. Go” she opened the door and It was astonishing. The room is so big. It has 2 bedrooms, own kitchen, sala and more. What impressed me was the vide from the balcony where I can see the beach and the pool below. What a great view!
“You like it?” Cav, stood beside me.
“Are you kidding me? I love it!” I laughed and gave him a hug.
“Good. I will be with you for dinner. I’m sorry I can’t show you around, I will be meeting with one of our clients.” He looked sad while saying that. Di naman ako bata na mawawala dito.
“Hey, It’s fine. Don’t worry about me, okay?” I reassured him.
“Okay, promise to call me if anything happens?” He told me.
“Opo daddy!” I laughed. Such a worry wart.
He laughed at my remark and messed my hair.
“Alright. I will go ahead. Have fun, but not too fun. You know what I mean okay?” he smiled and prepared to go outside.
“Yes. I will call if there’s trouble okay?” I told him. He nodded and finally went out with his assistant.
I roamed around the suite room and checked the bedrooms, each have a jacuzzi! How expensive is this room?! Our bags were sent to our rooms first so I put some of my clothes on the hanger. I changed into a yellow floral dress. It’s summer here so its not too cold. I just put on a white cardigan over the dress and looked at the mirror. Hmmm I love my dress, it compliments my skin tone.
I am excited to see the whole resort! I prepared to go down stairs, I got my camera with me.
Bukas na siguro ako maliligo sa dagat or sa pool.
