Scarlets POV:
“Are we okay?” seryosong tanong ko. He was staring intently sa daan dahil nag drive ito and we are on our way sa port to go one of their private islands here in the Philippines. I mean, an island? How rich are these people?
He was quiet for a while before he gave me an answer.
“Yeah,” he plainly said. And I know for a fact, we aren’t. bakit nya naman ako sinama dito sa getaway nila kung galit ito? His brothers invited us for a one day and one night trip sa isla nila and I think, he just couldn’t say no.
