Anna lives in a white, 2-story very southern plantation style home. To the left of their home, is a dog boarding facility. To the right of their home, is a yellow siding, one story, ranch style home. This home belongs to Mr and Mrs. Abbcott, who are friendly with Anna. It is the middle of June, and their daughter Karra, is home from college. As she is unloading the car, she catches the eye of Tyler, who is coming home from work.
“Hey, I have not seen you around here before. My name is Tyler” he says as he extends his hand to shake hers. “Hi, I have lived here my whole life, I have only been gone 4 years, minus summer break and Christmas. I should the one saying I have not seen you round here before! Oh, sorry, my name is Kar-ra” Karra responds. “That is a really pretty name, I never heard of it before” Tyler asks with curiosity. “Yeah, it is uncommon. Its irish/latin and it means beloved” Karra said in response.
Mrs. Abbcott calls out for Karra to come inside.
“Well, I guess I better get going, they haven’t seen me in months and want to go to dinner.” Karra explained. “Yeah, it was really nice meeting you and if you are not busy this summer, I would love to invite you to join me at the lake” Tyler replied. “Maybe, well see” Karra said as she turned around and went inside her home.
Tyler walked back to his home with a big smile on his face. “What are you grinning a mile wide for?” Anna asked. “Nothing, just met Karra and she told me a joke” Tyler responded. “I think someones got a crush, oooh lala” Anna said poking fun at Tyler. “Stop it, its not like that” Tyler quickly shot down. “Well, I have known Karra since she was in diapers and she is a really sweet and intelligent girl. She just graduated from Clemson with her teaching degree. She is going to do a lot of good in this world for those little munchkins” Anna told Tyler. “Good to note, but its not like that” Tyler replied as he grabbed an apple and headed up to his bedroom.
