Any chance Dylan had in capturing Simone or finding Adalyn vanished the instant the portal closed and shrank into nothing. Though he didn’t see Addie in Heaven’s arms during the brief moment he saw his ex, the empty house was proof that Simone had escaped through the portal with the other Oracles. With no place to run, he knew what was about to happen next. He would have to face Bo’s wrath.
