Heaven stared at the calendar someone had placed on the refrigerator and counted the weeks left until her due date. Only ten more to go until she and Layne welcomed their child into the world, a chaotic one at that. At least they’d made it four more weeks with no sign of The Fallen, and that’s with Dylan in their custody.
If Fate were kind, Heaven would make it through the next two and a half months and safely give birth before she had to face Bo. And she still hadn’t found that damn book her grandmother told her about. Over the last few weeks, she’d searched every part of the house, even the attic and basement.
