“Julia, I don’t want to upset you…” I start to speak, but I am rudely interrupted.
“Then don’t, Alpha!” Misty spits out as she instantly becomes defensive, wrapping her arm around her niece and pulling her close to her side, one hand guiding Julia’s head into her shoulder as not to have her looking at me.
“We can’t find Caly unless we can ask her questions!” I grit my teeth to keep my anger in check, but I am fighting Zeus not to just command the poor girl. I think we are closer to finding her, but the fact that she is with Jason someplace she doesn’t want to be doesn’t sit well with either me or my wolf. I decide that Misty can be angry with me all she f*cking wants, but if she’s going to take the offer of being a member of Blood Pact she’s going to understand that
