“How did they get those pictures?” I thundered before the power of my fist came crashing down on the glass table before me, shattering it.

I watched elena Fellwood adjust in fear, her voice quivering as she struggled to reply.

“I'll get to the root of it alpha, give me some time” she replied, in the blink of an eye Valerie slapped her hard across the face.

She stood there her eyes blazing red as she looked at me, I looked away.

“If you had just done your job none of this would have happened! This is your fault, Elena, I want the culprit found!” Valerie screamed before running into my waiting arms.

I kissed her softly as she cried into them.

“How long will you keep hurting me Victor?” she asked amidst tears.

“Get out” I said motioning for Elena to leave us.

“Sir, there’s a matter that needs your urgent attention, sir there’s a…..”

“GET OUT!” I roared and In a few short seconds, she bowed low and went on her way.

Whatever it is will wait, all that matters right now is this woman here in my arms.

“Victor, where is she? I'll put an end to this!” she cried continuously before she started pounding hard on my chest.

“You promised we’d make these decisions together. Don't you love me anymore?” she asked amidst tears.

“Don't ever ask that again, you know there can't be anyone else, these things just happen, you know I also have to keep them at bay” I started, I pulled her weak head away from my chest and kissed her.

“I promise you, she’ll be gone soon, I don't know who took those pictures but I promise I'll find them” I finished before kissing her soft forehead.

She sniffled and looked up at me, “promise me you won't get her pregnant Victor” she started, and I was instantly mute.

“Victor!” she exclaimed, “I don't want you to touch her,” she added before her eyebrows furrowed in annoyance.

I laughed and kissed her cheeks, “I won't I promise” She smiled and pulled me closer.

Just then our worst enemy pops up on the radio, “Hot hush here with another segment of the secret scoop, anyone hears about the gunfight this morning over at the foundation, it seems a young girl accidentally visited her uncle working at the soup kitchen was gun down, and you know what’s strange about it is that, she almost kind of looks like the bride from the pictures!” A long laugh followed, I clenched my jaw in anger and my eyes blazed furiously.

A human died in my foundation?

“Guys, I think something is going on in casa Harrison, someone doesn't want the new little missus around, and I know we can guess who but sh, we do not want to get in trouble with the feds, on a lighter note, jerry Cranfield had a baby! Jerry, you know the guy with the… oh never mind, till later, im still your host hot hush” With that the radio went silent.

For the past year, this maniac had been obsessed with us, and it started the night of my father’s death anniversary when Valerie and I were caught kissing”

Valerie burst into another round of tears, “what did you do Valerie?” I inquired, guilt was written all over her, and I knew there was something she had done.

Something dangerous.

“Im sorry okay I just got so upset! I can't bear to see another woman with you Victor, I'll die!” she wailed before I grabbed a hold of her.

“Valerie, what did you do? What is he talking about?

“I..i.. I stationed armed men outside the foundation with her picture, I just wanted her gone, but I didnt tell them to shoot, it must be an accident!” her voice quivered and I could tell she was lying.

She wanted my new wife dead, and so did I but not right now.

“Valerie….look I'll take care of it Don't worry, the PR team will come up with something but ….” I started, “You can't kill her Valerie, do whatever you want to her at the foundation, you are her boss, but you can't harm her, ever” My tone was clear. “She’s important to me right now, you need to understand”

She gasped in shock, “more important than me!” she exclaimed.

“No, but I, I just need her right now, you know how complicated these things are. If they find out you tried to harm their new Luna, they will hunt you down, Valerie! It seems you've forgotten what I am! I'm the lord alpha! Leader of the felllwood forest!” I thundered, shaking her core with fear, she stepped back, away from me.

She shook her head in disbelief, “This is not the man I fell in love with, you’ve changed and it's because of her!”

“She’s nothing to me, Valerie, I just need her blood” I stated.

“Then suck it out of her, but ill never let her carry your baby! Never!” with that she angrily started for the door.

“Let's see how she likes it in that burning pit” she added before slamming the door.

My head swung almost immediately, “the burning pit?”

I ran after her and grabbed her arm, “what burning pit?”

She scoffed and slapped my hand away from her arm, “The one close to where you hide your whores, you thought I didnt know about it didnt you!”

I stepped back anxiously before I slammed my fist against the concrete wall, “victor you’ll hurt yourself”

“s**t!”

I ran out of there with the speed of lightning as I started to transform.

Two weeks ago my lead scientist had worked on a new experiment, a fresh breed of rogues, deadlier versions than the last ones.

Rogues that I haven't tamed, don't recognise me as alpha yet, their spirit is not broken yet.

“s**t!” I heard my wolf voice say, “I know Sebastian, she’s f****d if I don't do something about it, how the hell did she get herself thrown into the furnace!”

As I reached the vast trees outside I howled, a few soldiers trouped out from both sides of my villa and followed closely behind, each with the latest silver bullet assault rifles.

God! I hope I'm not too late to save her.
