The radio came on and I heard his irritating voice, hot hush.
When I find him, id take my time, his torture will please me.
“Uh oh, trouble in paradise? Nope, it's official VSquare is finally getting married! If it's not, why did we see Hope Harbour’s own COO Valerie Ashborne coming out of Reine d’amour? Where only the expensive brides go. Is it happening? Is Victor going to man up and face his mentor finally? Or is this a political match? If it is Senator Ashbourne, I'll say the poor choice of husband you’ve chosen for daughter dearest.”
I banged my palm on the table over and over. Valerie has always been a source of ridicule when she has done nothing but love and understand me.
No one gets me the way she does, yet im forbidden to be with her, because I'm a wolf and her father and the elders in the council would rather die than have a human be my Luna.

“Sir” a voice called, it was Elena my beta, I turned, “The girl, Bella Frost would like a word” she continued.
“A word? Has she chosen where she would serve out the rest of her days?” I laughed, satisfied with last night’s victory.

I was silent, what exactly was she thinking?
I followed Elena to the bedroom where she was kept, and the Frosts greeted me.
“So nice of you to finally make it James, I see you got my message?” I started, standing by the door.
“Lord Alpha,” he started before pausing, “ go on and explain yourself, first your daughter rejected me as her mate and ran off with god knows who and now your other daughter was caught with the criminals who robbed my house! Explain it!” I thundered with a wolf growl.

“I'll take her place, I'll be your Luna on one condition” I heard her say, "I snickered.
“And what makes you think I want to be seen publicly with my father’s murderer,” I asked, my tone laced with disgust.
“Because I know you need a pure-blood luna to secure your throne as lord alpha of Fellwood forest,” she said leaning back, her frame curved in a very unattractive way.
“On one condition” she repeated, I was silent, “let my friends go” she finished.
I laughed, and then settled my face sternly, “You must be insane to think that I…”
“Fine, take us back to prison, I don't have a problem. I'd be happy to be rid of you and this wretched family, but we all have problems and right now we are each other's solutions,” she smiled.
“So on that note, if you let me friends go I'll take my sister’s place and help you secure your throne, or I go to prison and let the council give your throne to Silas Blackfur” she stated victoriously.
I clenched my jaw in anger, I can't believe I've been bested by this murdering b***h, but she was right.
“You are lucky I need you, you are lucky that the blood flowing in your veins is what I need, just know this any slight provocation, any mistake at all, I won't take you to prison, I'll feed you directly to my rogues, you've heard the stories, best believe I will make it come true on your behalf” with that I turned back out towards the door, I took a heavy step.

Bella’s pov~
My mother spared no time preparing me, and elena had shown me all I needed to see in my new home, my sleeping quarters and especially the forbidden area.
Much later in the afternoon, I took a walk with my friends, this would be the last time I see them for a while.
They had to lay low somewhere.
“Im sorry about this Bella” Christy started, 2 eyes punched my arm playfully, “yeah sorry”
I sighed and turned to them, “This is not the first time you guys have dragged me into s**t” I smiled, “ill miss you guys, stay out of trouble” I said.
We hugged each other and giggled.
“Will you be okay, he did send you to prison, arent you pissed?” 2 eyes inquired.
“Trust me I am, plenty pissed, but I have to do this, you guys deserve a chance at life, so many adventures, find someone and start your life, it seems I have unfinished business back home, something much deeper I got to figure out,” I said.
“You?” I heard a voice call from behind, I turned, Valerie Ashbourne? Here in Fellwood forest how? She’s human.
Then She must also know how to get through the trapdoor.
It seems I'm not the rule breaker after all.

I scoffed, “What are you doing here? Who let you into Victor’s house, are you a cleaner? If not you are fired, I cannot let a stupid thing like you work here. You are incompetent” she finished eyeing me in the most belittling way possible.
“You really must be deeply delusional to think you could ever have a chance in our world, look around, this is fellwood forest, not oakfield city, the rules don't apply here, you don't call the shots maam” My friends gasped and I saw her face go red with anger.
She was about to slap me when Victor came out from the house, “she calls the shots everywhere, and if you so much as talk back at her again I will snap your neck in two” he declared before taking her hand and walking away with her, a confused look on her face.
I was enraged, just who the hell do they think they are to talk down on me, he ruined my life and now im going to endure all of this.
“I need to make one last stop at Oakfield City before I say I do,” I said.
By dawn the next day I was home and content with my decision, the hour for the mating ceremony came.
And I walked down the temple of the moon goddess, a happy woman.
“Share blood” the Wiccan ordered, pointing at the bowl under us.
Victor transformed his hand into a claw and slit his arm and blood dripped into the bowl.
I pricked my finger and a tiny drop of my blood joined him, he hissed with anger, “That’s all you are worth to me, a tiny drop” I said, my face straight as I repeated after the Wiccan.
