Chapter 2

I arrived home not taking notice of mom ,she calls me back “ did you forget your manners already“ can’t you greet? sorry mum. Good day i say heading back to my room.

Throwing the bag on the floor ,i jumped in bed and opened Vero’s message and started whimpering.

Felix has moved on already ! We broke up two weeks ago and he’s already leaving our vacation dreams with another girl

What did i do wrong ,i kept questioning myself not realizing when i drifted to sleep .

*Ding Ding*

I woke up to the sound of the Alarm .

Mom slides the window of my room from the balcony ,seeing how puffy my eyes had become she swiftly gets to the room.

What’s wrong she entreats? showing her the picture, she hugs me “ a guy who makes you cry doesn’t deserve you my dear”.You merit better i try smiling.

Now get a shower whiles i cook your favorite ,mum always has a way of making me merry.

I quickly showered and got to the dining room to fill up . I realized i didn’t take in food when I got home yesterday because in a few seconds i was done eating

,mum kept staring and giggling .

Why mum? nothing, then why that face I’m just cheery she says .

Back to my room watching a movie i decide to check my email .

I had applied for several positions .

I was tired of home and besides i had to get something doing to support mum although we weren’t poor either.

Few minutes later-a mail from JPMorgan Chase pops ,this must be a joke …..

I scream happily forgetting the pain of yesterday. Mum !!!!! i have a interview with JPMorgan Chase tomorrow

You’re kidding right no ,see for yourself I show her the message . That’s good news I find my way to the wardrobe to select the best garb for tomorrow .

“I really need this job”.

The next day ,I woke up earlier to finish on time and set off . I wave a cab to get me to the location . Wow !!entering i meet a friendly receptionist who asks to sit whiles I wait for the boss.

This place is nice , snapped out of my thoughts this way Miss I follow her while admiring the decorations.

Daniel’s POV

Going through the files of yesterday to meet up with the investor later in the day.A call from the receptionist reminds that I have someone waiting to be interviewed.Let her in i say , raising my head to meet the face in-front of me is the girl I encountered 2 days ago .She looks more beautiful and attractive in her outfit , no makeup but damn she’s flawless . Good morning she says, have a seat you’re ? Miss Sika ,not only is she beautiful her voice is soothing as well .

Why am I drooling ?, i don’t even know her yet what if she’s married or already in a relationship.

You don’t fall in love remember my inner voice conjures up.
