What? What's she doing here. I asked myself softly so that no one would hear me. I was happy. But I didn't express it. So after how many years I got to meet her again. Hi, I said. She left and her friends followed her. After she left I couldn't hold myself and I began to cry because I was drunk. They took me home and asked me what happened. I replied to them and told them everything that happened. I saw that they felt my pain too. Bro, why didn't you tell us when it happened. Dylan asked. But why didn't you not explain it to her when she proposed. I want to keep it a secret, a surprise who knows that she would travel. She thinks maybe I don't like her. LILIAN'S POV
I took excuses and left, then Lisa and Nora followed. We got home and I started crying. Can you imagine that he wasn't even remorseful. He began to sympathize with me. I ran inside to take the phone and charged it and then on it. I saw messages he left for me. I was already in tears. Why did I leave? When he saw you today he couldn't stop himself. I rushed home in search of my brother. We looked for him everywhere and then I found him and asked him what happened. He told me he wanted to call me but mum told him not to call me that I am not his sister. I was confused at what she would say so. When we got home. I asked my mum about it. My dad said it was just a joke. Then she became angry and shouted that she was not my mother. That I should go look for my dead mother. I was in shock. Dad, why would mum say such a thing. I asked my dad. He told me mum was having a menstrual flow. That was why she was behaving like that. I believed and then I left. I did really read much meaning to it. I took my resume to Raymonds office. I really miss him so much. I applied for his secretary. After the interview they told me to go that I will get an email to know if I passed or not.
The next morning, I saw the message saying I should resume work today. I was so happy. I got dressed,took the taxi, bought coffee,and entered the elevator. I didn't repeat that mistake. I took the regular employee's elevator. I punched in, registered. I went ahead to meet the HR department. They gave me my employee card and after that, they told me to get coffee for the CEO. This was the first day he came to the office in months. They also told me he became very rude. That I should try my best but I should hold it in mind that he was very rude to employees and I should say anything to offend him. I bought the coffee and went to the office. I knocked and he told me to enter the office. As i entered he waved me to wait that he was busy. He asked me what I wanted and told me to be quick. I greeted him and said sir, I am your new secretary. I guess he recognized my voice. He looked up to me with teary eyes.
