  Chapter 14 I came to with a start, sitting upright, and gasped. I was in a hospital bed, the metal sides up to stop me from rolling out in my sleep. I looked down and saw I was wearing a green hospital-issue gown. I scanned the rest of the room in a panic, terrified I was back at the estate.
