Rebecca's eyes kept looking back at the darkness beyond those bars as the cry of a child filled the vicinity. The sound rapidly changed its bass and pitch. Changing from a human-like wail to an animal howling.
" Come on, Rebecca... They will be coming any moment to recheck on her. You have caused enough mess for one day. I will not be able to cover up if the situation further detoriates. " Blaze pulled her along.
" You seem to know a lot about the castle... even the most well kept secrets of the Royal household... "
She abruptly paused, pulling her hand back from Blaze's grip.
" So what? I'm warning you... This is not the time... " Blaze tried to grab her hands but she moved back.
"Go ahead. Go without me. What's stopping you? "
