Episode 1 KATE LIFE AFTER SECONDARY SCHOOL Kate was a beautiful young girl, who lived with her parents. She was eighteen when she finished secondary school and also Kate had a little brother called MICHAEL. Michael was Eleven years old. Kate met a guy called CLINTON. Clinton was invited over to Kate's place by her parents (Mr &Mrs Martins) to work for them , that was how Kate and Clinton met and became friends. They both exchanged contacts and in the process of talking and chatting on phone, they found out that their place wasn't far from each other. Weeks later, Kate started going for students nurse training which of course it was far from the house. Kate told Clinton about it and they both decided to always go to work together and also come back together. After the first two weeks of going to work and coming home together, The next day, Clinton and his friend DESMOND was waiting for Kate at their usual spot. Clinton introduced Desmond to Kate and Kate to Desmond, immediately Desmond fell in love with Kate. On the other hand, Clinton loves Kate but doesn't know how to tell her because he doesn't know how she would react since she considered him as just a friend. The next day Desmond told Clinton about his feelings for Kate. Clinton was angry and jealous but couldn't let it out since Desmond was his friend.He then told Desmond that if that is what he really wants he should go for it but he doesn't know if Kate would concord with it. So when they got home, Clinton didn't talk with Kate. After some days, Clinton finally told Kate that Desmond asked for her contact. Kate replied saying "it okay no problem give it to him when next he ask again". Clinton was really scared of losing Kate to his friend but nevertheless he gave Kate's contact to Desmond. Desmond and Kate became very close and even the days Clinton do not go to work, Desmond was always there to accompany Kate at anytime. Finally Desmond told Kate about his feelings for her , he told her that right from the first day he saw her , he felt something so strong. So he asked Kate to be his girlfriend. But Kate refused at that moment and said she doesn't want to get hurt or mistreated by any man because she reads a lot of stories like that where a man mistreats a woman for no good reason and some even beat their women , so she wasn't ready for such things. But Desmond told her that he would give her all the time she needs to have a rethink about his proposal.He assured her that he wasn't going to rush her not to make the wrong decision of her life. From that day on ward, Desmond always makes sure to come with Clinton after work just to see Kate. Desmond even visit Clinton at home more often after finding out that both Clinton and Kate's place is just some few houses away. Clinton visited Kate at her house. they laughed and played as usual but suddenly Clinton said something that made Kate froze. Clinton told Kate that he was having a crush on her, that he wants her to be his girlfriend!! At that moment Kate was confused on what to say or do, so she left Clinton in the sitting room and went to her room. Clinton later left to his place and was hoping Kate would love him and say yes to him. Soon Kate went to register for jamb and started going for jamb lessons. After lessons she goes to work and then comes back home without Clinton or Desmond with her. She started giving them both little distance to see which of them was good enough for her. The day before Kate was writing her jamb she traveled to the place she was going to write the exam and scout with someone for the night. The day of the exam Kate was prepared but was a bit nervous because that was actually the first jamb she was writing and for the first time. After the end of the exam, she went back and packed up her things then took off. in not less than three to four hours, she was back. And waiting for admission into university of her dream. On the other hand, Clinton was trying to reach out to Kate but couldn't. Kate later messaged him and they both talked for a long time. Soon later both Clinton and Kate became in a relationship which was kept hidden from both parents. their relationship was going really well. But at this moment, Desmond didn't know about Clinton and Kate's relationship. They kept it unknown from him. Kate tries to make Clinton happy by telling him everything, by not keeping anything away from him. but little did Kate know that Clinton was hiding something away from her which even Desmond knew about. But Clinton had the mind set that Kate wouldn't find out some day not even Desmond would tell her about it. So he was so confident and he kept on doing the things he was doing at Kate's back. One day, Desmond and Kate met on her way to run some errands for her mother (Mrs Martins) so they started talking and Desmond asked Kate about his proposal. But she replied saying "I'm sorry I'm not interested please look for someone else". Desmond asked her if she was dating his friend (Clinton)? Kate nodded and was about leaving but Desmond took her hands and said "Do you really think he's good for you?" Kate ignored him and left for her errands. The next day, Clinton and Desmond had a talk. Desmond asked Clinton 'why did you choose her out of all girls you have ?' but Clinton ignored the question and just said Kate is a very good girl and she is really pretty and gorgeous. So every guy would die to be with her. Clinton concluded by saying " it isn't my fault she chose me over you". Desmond became very disappointed but didn't give up on Kate. For the few past month, Clinton and Kate was inseparable. They always glue together whenever they had the chance of meeting in person. Their love for each other grew by the day as time passes. Kate always finds a way to make excuses at home just to go see Clinton at home.But Clinton visits Kate at home than Kate does because her parents were a bit strict. Kate wasn't allowed to leave the house as she likes or whenever she feels like. Kate and Clinton promised never to leave each other. They also made a lot of promises together but their relationship remained a secret from both parents. But one day, Kate had a rumor about Clinton................ WHAT COULD THAT BE?????
