Nadia’s pov
I woke up to the feeling of a flush warm blanket over me. I didn't understand what was going on or where I was because it was all dark but I could feel the smooth satin sheets under me.
I looked around and noticed the prettiest chandelier hovering over my head, that was when I noticed I wasn't alone in the room.
I could sense a pair of eyes watching me carefully and I slowly turned to look at my right and there he was, Koa peeking at me on the other side of the bed.
I tried to speak but it was slightly painful, I don't know if he felt what I was feeling too but he let out a sad whine as he moved closer to me and nuzzled my neck.
“Don't ever do that to me.
I thought I lost you. I was terrified.” he said in a tone I’d never seen him use before.
