As the ritual ended, I stood still for some seconds as I felt a bit light headed.
I was still trying to get a grip of my body when Yara dashed off into the woods, expending energy she didn’t even have.
She hadn’t gotten in more than a few steps when she suddenly paused and fell to the ground.
She instantly changed to her human form and I watched the young guy who assisted all through the ritual instantly drape a blanket over her and carry her up to the bedroom she was staying in for tonight.
I heaved a sigh of relief that this was all over with as I changed back to my human form and draped the second blanket over myself.
