Aurora Aurora had always wanted a family, she craved the calm and love it would bring. However now at the age of 26 her chances at finding the one and only, her mate were slim. Most of her kind found them between the ages of 16 and 22. Humans usually thought that age was too early to settle down, but it was normal in the werewolf community. Auroras life was always simple. Even now she felt as if her world was starting to get complicated, but when she looked around herself at the others in her pack, she realised it was nothing compared to most. She was a regular old pack member no-one special. If suddenly she disappeared one day everything would still work as usual. The pack would notice and feel the loss but ultimately they’d fine. Aurora was fine with that she liked simple and not being the centre of attention. Even then no one could dispute that once she set her mind to something, nothing could stop her. She held a quiet power that was stronger than anyone knew. She probably had enough dominance to be an Alpha herself, but it was a secret Aurora held close to her heart. Just the thought of having that responsibility made her shiver. Aurora’s mum Penelope had been ranked the 4th best fighter in the pack, which intern meant she was often sent to help settle pack business. One night she had been sent out and she never made it back, Aurora was only two years old at the time. Aurora barely had any memories of Penelope. Everything she knew about her mum were told to her by others, mostly her dad. Everyone had loved her. Supposedly she was brave kind and intelligent. Aurora hoped that she would grow to make her proud. She’d been told she looked a lot like her mother. Same slim body with curves where it counted, and the same thicken golden brown hair. However she also had her dads bright emerald eyes and light tanned skin. Growing up without her mother had been really hard, but Aurora loved her dad and she was happy with how he’d raised her. Even now being as old as she was Aurora lived with her dad, Liam. Neither of them were to important to the pack and other then her dad Aurora only had one true friend. Aurora and Abbie had known each other since they were cubs, and rarely had arguments even in their teenage years. Abbie was only a centimetre shorter then Aurora which was weird since Aurora towered over your typical female. Abbie also had curly blonde hair to her chin which revealed the flower tattoo on her shoulder. Together for years they had been little rebels laughing as they ditched a class or two, and since they’ve grown up they resorted to taking to many straws at cafes. The pack lived in the West half of Australia. The social structure was well designed their Alpha was Xander, their Luna was Sarah. They were both good, kind people and they lead the park well. However Roland, the beta was completely different. In early high school she had dated him and in the short amount of time they were together, he’d done terrible things to her. No one had ever found out the horrors that are her nightmares. The pack Aurora was in is called Howlers, it was giant pack much bigger then the other in Australia. Throughout the world their were about 100 packs, who in a whole were governed by the high council. The high council consisted of 16 members they had all at one point an Alpha but to become a council member had to give it up. In Australia there was one other pack called Moonshine, they lay on the East half of Australia. Aurora has never met or seen anyone from that pack in person. Maybe one day she would meet some people from pack, and hopefully one of them would be her mate. Dylan Dylan was constantly surrounded by others, but he often felt alone. He was 28 and had seen his mate once, from a distance but even he had smelt the perfume that was her. He was only passing by the Howlers pack to talk their Alpha. At this age Dylan should be settled down with his mate and ruling over his pack, but because of so many reasons he couldn’t even meet his mate. His life had always been complicated, and he hated it. Hatred and anger had ruled over Dylan’s life for as long as he could remember. Everyone in the pack thought he would grow out of it, but at the age of 5 he still hadn’t changed. Since then he had been forced to go for therapy even though it did no good. He still went for an hour every week to keep the council of his back. Dylan was the Alpha of Moonshine pack. Dylan’s parents had been the Alpha couple until his father, Brian had been given an invitation to be a high council member. Brian had taken the offer in turn Dylan stepped up to become the Alpha, and Brian became a high council member with Andrea as his advisor. Andrea and her son Dylan had always been close, but Dylan and Brian had always been beating heads. Dylans beta Riley was his best friend and the only person who dared try to get near Dylan when he went into one of his rages. Dylan has had to deal with problems with between the two packs, and with tensions rising by the day he hoped to claim his mate soon.
