Delight spent the entire night trying to convince Sassy not to go rogue.
"I have a plan, Sassy." She said.
"Okay? Let's hear it." Sassy said.
"How about you leave the pack and start life afresh in the rival pack?" Delight suggested.
"You mean, red moon pack?" Anna asked.
"Yes, Red Moon pack." Delight replied.
"I think it's a great idea. There are other blondes there too. There are a lot of them. Everyone in the Black Knights pack is just ignorant and maybe you belong to the Red Moon pack." Anna said.
"Exactly. My uncle lives in a red moon pack. I have seen a lot of blondes, that is why I was never indifferent towards you from the beginning." Delight said.
"Really? Other blondes?" Sassy asked, and her eyes glowed. She seemed to buy the idea.
"Of course. I know you'll blend in real quick." Delight said.
"But, I don't know anything about that place. I don't know anyone there." Sassy complained.
"I'll take you there." Delight said.
"For real? You will?" Sassy asked and Delight nodded.
"I'd love to go there too. For a medical outreach, so I guess I'll go along with you too and we can use my car." Anna suggested.
"Yes! Yes! Yes! This is so perfect!" Delight said.
"I'm pretty sure when you see others with blonde hair, you'll begin to appreciate yourself more," Anna said.
"You think?" Sassy asked.
"I know," Anna replied.
"So, when are we leaving?" Delight asked, looking excited.
"Relax, Dee. You're over-excited and you're not even the blonde girl." Sassy said.
"Whatever! I feel like the blonde girl right now. I'm so happy. You're not going rogue anymore. How do you think I felt when you said you were going rogue? I felt so bad and heartbroken. I'm glad I was able to change your mind." Delight said.
"And, you won't regret going to Red Moon pack. It's way more fun than the black knights pack. And more civilised too. You'll understand what I'm talking about when you get there eventually." Anna said.
"I guess I'm excited to go there too," Sassy said.
"Yay." Delight said and jumped in excitement.
The three girls spent the next few days packing their things. Anna gave them her credit card to go get new clothes and shoes and they bought a lot of it. Delight also went to tell her sister about her trip, but she failed to tell her sister she had no plans of returning anytime soon.
And a week and two days later, they were off. The weather too was in their favour. Anna played loud music in her car and they all sang along to it.
As soon as they got into the red moon pack, even Sassy didn't need to be told where she was. She could see it herself.
"Wow." She muttered.
There were a lot of beautiful mountains and hills in the red moon pack. And everyone looked happy. The roads were full of people, both adults and children and they were all chattering and happy. Everyone seems to love the other, unlike the Black Knights pack where everyone minded their business.
Sassy also noticed there were lots of humans in the Red Moon pack and they came out openly unlike the Black Knights pack where a few of them were in hiding. And best of all, there were a lot of blondes.
"Amazing, right?" Delight asked.
"This is so amazing. I feel like I have been wasting all my life in the Black Knight pack." Sassy said, still looking out of the car.
Anna chuckled softly.
Soon, they got to the house Anna had leased for them to stay for a short time. It was a two-bedroom apartment with a Jacuzzi and it was located in a special reserved area. It looked quite expensive and Anna refused to disclose the price.
Soon, it was nighttime and Anna took Sassy and Delight out to see the city.
"It's more beautiful at night." She said.
And she was right. She drove them around and showed them places they'd never seen before. Even Delight who had been in the red moon pack hadn't seen a lot of things, and of course, Anna was glad to be their tour guide.
By 11 pm, Delight and Sassy were expecting to go home, but Anna drove them to a clubhouse.
Sassy had never been in one before, but Delight blended in immediately.
Sassy stood awkwardly at a spot declining anyone that offered to dance with her. She saw Anna at a corner passionately kissing someone and she laughed.
The loud music in the club soon began to make her feel dizzy and lightheaded. She walked towards the chairs and sat down. She used her hands to support her head as she felt too woozy.
"Hey." She heard a male voice say and she raised her head to look at him.
"Hi." She replied.
"First time clubbing, er?" The guy asked. He had a thick Russian accent.
"Huh?" Sassy asked, not quite understanding what he had said.
"First. Time. Clubbing?" He asked again, breaking his words.
"Yeah, yeah. This is my first time." Sassy replied.
"I own this clubhouse. Everything here is mine. My name is Dimitri." The man said and stretched his hand for a handshake. He had a thick stench of alcohol.
Sassy shook his hand and gave him a small smile. She could smell he was human.
"Do you want a drink? I could get you a glass. There's a lot of it." The man said.
"No, thanks. I'm cool, I don't drink." Sassy politely declined.
"Oh c'mon. You are in a club. Why wouldn't you drink? Or are you here to see someone? Am I disturbing you?" He asked.
Sassy badly wanted to say yes, but she shook her head.
"Oh, that's great then, Moya Lyubov." The man said.
"And what does that even mean?" Sassy asked, looking distressed and confused.
"Oh, it's my love in Russian. If we get married, I will teach you all you need to know." The man said and Sassy scowled in disgust.
"Don't look like that. I have a lot of money and I can care for you." He said again.
"This is ridiculous," Sassy said and got up to leave.
The man got up too and held her tightly by her arm.
"You can't leave just yet. I haven't even gotten your name yet." He said, gripping her arms tightly.
"Let go of me," Sassy said, glaring at him.
"You're being insensitive. I just wanna talk."
"You're being insensitive as well, I'm not interested in whatever you wanna say, let go," Sassy said and pulled her arm out of his grip.
And this time, the man glared at her...
