The Bloodrubis that had captured Ben had traveled with him through a cave and had come to a very misty place. Though the mist obscured much from sight, as it was already night, Ben could make out several distant lights. They had got inside what appeared to be a canoe except that it rose like a flying bike to float in the air. Only one bloodrubi stood in the rear and controlled the canoe by holding a glowing rudder. “Where are you taking me?” Ben asked but not even one looked at him. Ngoni had stopped being chatty with him as the captain had ordered. They went through the mist and then a very large gorge came into view. This is where the lights were coming from. This was the Bloodrubi city – a city built in stone. Houses were brilliantly carved in and along the walls of the steep gorge;
