Twice Dead, Twice Reborn: The Princess Who Defied Fate!

Chioma, a sassy Korean vlogger with a bottomless appetite, woke up not with a hangover, but a whole new life. Gone were the endless ramen challenges and mukbang streams. In their place, a suffocating palace, a tyrannical father, and a twin brother with a possessive glint in his eyes.

Her first life as a hidden princess ended tragically. This time, armed with the knowledge of her past demise, she swore to avoid the same fate. But fate, it seemed, had other plans.

When her sickly brother is sidelined, Chioma finds herself thrust into a role she never wanted: Crown Prince.

Suddenly, assassins are lurking in the shadows, her scumbag father's favor comes with a chilling price, and whispers of a prophecy hinting at the first Empress of the Empire reach her ears.

Chioma wants nothing more than to escape the palace walls and return to the freedom of her past life. But with a scheming father, a suspicious brother, and a destiny she never signed up for, escape seems like a distant dream.

Will Chioma survive the treacherous court politics and rewrite her tragic destiny? Or will history repeat itself, leaving her another victim of a power-hungry family?

LOVE TIL END
[First Life] [My psychotic twin brother murdered me in my prior existence.] She was born as Princess Chioma, Crown Prince Nero's twin sister. They were the offspring of Prince Nero Dan Joo, the merciless monarch of the Moonasterian Empire. [Nero acquired his "psycho genes" from that guy!] After their mother died giving birth to her and her twin brother, their scumbag father abandoned them in the Rina Palace. The staff in their home clearly preferred Nero since he was the crown prince. As a result, she grew up envious of her brother. And as her hatred for him increased, they became further estranged. When she was five years old, she saw an assassin disguised as a maid putting poison in her brother's supper. However, because to her jealousy, she did not inform anybody. The crime was only revealed when Nero's power was reawakened due to his failing health. When Emperor Joo learned about Nero's "awakening," he became interested in her brother and relocated him to Blanco Palace, which had previously housed every crown prince in history. Nero, who had a vengeance against her for remaining silent instead of assisting him when he was poisoned, abandoned her at Rina Palace despite her pleas to accompany him. When the emperor arrived to take Nero with him, their father did not glance at her once. So she spent many lonely years at Rina Palace. The maids basically ignored her and just provided the bare minimum of care that she required as she grew up. That kind of treatment shattered tiny Chioma. *** When Chioma was twelve years old, she was finally able to flee Rina Palace when Solan Rufus Jungieel, the emperor's cousin on his mother's side, adopted her. That's when she realised that only the staff at Rina Palace were aware of her presence. The remainder of the empire believed that Nero was the Emperor's only child. To keep things that way, her douche of a father requested Solan Jungieel to take her in. [But I believed living as a Solan's daughter was preferable than being treated like trash at the palace.] The Solan and his wife, Duchess Amber Jungieel, lost their eleven-year-old daughter a year before adopting her. When the Solan learned her existence as a result of Nero's slip of the tongue, he spoke with the emperor and advised that instead of keeping her in the palace, she be raised as a Solan's daughter. She would subsequently learn that it was the duchess's idea. [Anyway…] The servants of House Jungieel treated her better than the servants at Rina Palace. For the first time in her life, she felt like a princess. Even the Solan was kind to her. After all, he was her biological uncle. However, the duchess was the issue. [She viewed me as a substitute for Hanna, her late daughter.] Chioma was compelled to dress, talk, act, speak, and eat just as Hanna did while she was alive. If the duchess didn't like anything she said or did, she would say, "Hanna wouldn't do that." To satisfy her new mother, she gave up her own identity and lived as a dead person's duplicate. But she persevered because she enjoyed the affluent life that House Jungieel offered her. Although the duchess just saw her as Hanna's successor, Solan Jungieel actually cared for her, and it was because of him that she was able to breathe a bit easier in that environment. Nonetheless, Chioma felt lonely. *** Six years after becoming "Lady Jungieel," Chioma received a marriage proposal from Lord Rubin, Solan Samuel Drayton's heir apparent. When the Solan and duchess pushed her to accept the proposal, she accepted. She was eighteen years old at the time, and the young lord, who was only two years older than her, was well-known across the empire for his "pretty" appearance and fine manners. That was her worst mistake in life. She had no idea that Duchess Amber had struck a bargain with Lord Rubin: if the lord married her, the duchess would adopt Lady Regina Crowell, the daughter of an impoverished baron. Lord Rubin said that Regina was a childhood friend he wanted to assist rise up in society and have a better life. She sympathised with Regina since, like her, she had lived in misery before being adopted, and she wished for her new companion to have the same fate. [I was naive to think Rubin and Regina were just "friends."] Unfortunately, she only learned the two's indecent connection after she had already fallen madly in love with Rubin. She was prepared to tolerate his affair with Regina since it was normal for some lords to have a mistress. But then she found out that Rubin and Regina were plotting to murder her a month after their marriage and make it appear like an accident. Once she was gone, Rubin would marry Regina, who would soon acquire the status that would enable her to remain with him. After all, once her marriage to Rubin was formalised, Duchess Amber would legally adopt Regina. [Rubin employed Duchess Amber to carry out his scheme.] The narrative proceeded as follows: Solan Drayton wanted Rubin to marry her, a Solan's daughter, rather than Regina, a baron's daughter; Rubin did not want his father to murder Regina, so he wrote her a marriage proposal. But what Solan Drayton didn't anticipate was Rubin's agreement with the duchess. Chioma informed Duchess Amber of Rubin and Regina's nefarious plot, but the duchess did not trust her and even accused her of being envious of Regina. Duchess Amber felt Regina was the "reincarnation" of Hanna since she behaved exactly like Hanna, something she had failed to achieve throughout the years. [The duchess' mental state was unstable at the time, and Regina was a goddamn actor.] She attempted to seek assistance from Solan Jungieel, but the duchess had shut off her connection with him. At the time, her adoptive father seldom returned home since he was so busy as Nero's swords master. Chioma felt helpless. *** Chioma knew she would be murdered if she didn't take action to defend herself. Despite being abandoned by her estranged father and brother, she was still a de Moonasterio and Nero's twin sister. At her lowest point, she recalled the banned book she read in the dingy library back at Rina Palace. According to that book, a pair of twins born in the de Moonasterio line was a curse, for royal twins like her and Nero might bond their lives together if a right spell was used--a prohibited magic that would permanently merge their life powers. [This indicates that if one of us dies, the other will also die.] She believed that if her life was linked to Nero's, then he and the emperor would be obligated to protect her if they didn't want the crown prince to die with her. It was funny how desperate she was to live, despite the fact that her life was pathetic; perhaps it was because she didn't want to die alone. So, with that in mind, she went out and threatened a Black Witch capable of casting the banned spell. Unfortunately for her, Nero discovered her plot... Thank you, Regina. [That b***h hired an assassin to spy on me!] Nero, who was already renowned as a cruel prince at the time, came to murder her, but not because she wanted their life energies to be linked; he warned her that he would take her life as a punishment for "touching the wrong woman." Apparently, the Black Witch that she threatened to do the prohibited magic was the lady that Nero was fascinated with. If she recalled correctly, the Black Witch's name was 'Dahlia.' She had no idea that her brother was madly in love with that woman. And since she threatened Dahlia, Nero stabbed her in the heart with the sword that their father, Emperor Joo, had given him as a gift when he was formally designated heir apparent to the throne. [It felt as if my father and twin brother had murdered me.] Nero slaughtered her as if she were just another minor adversary, and his eyes showed no emotion as he watched her slowly expire from blood loss. ["I only granted you a swift, painless death because you resemble my female version. I don't want to watch my face writhe in misery," Nero said her as he was departing, his voice hollow of emotion. "You should be glad that you have a kind elder brother, my sad little sister."] That wasn't the worst thing that occurred when she died. She despised the idea that Regina appeared in her last moments to ridicule her. ["It's so easy to manipulate everyone around you, Lady Jungieel," Regina said with a smirk that she wanted to rip off her ugly face. "Rubin, Duchess Jungieel, and now His Royal Highness Prince Nero." She laughed softly while shaking her head. "It was so easy to turn them against you because they never really loved you, Chi-o-ma."] Chioma promised herself that she would resurrect from the dead solely to murder that b***h. ***
