✧Chapter 3✧

*CARLY’S POV*

I sit down at the restaurant table and then look through the menu.

“What can I get you to drink?” My waitress asks me while coming up to me and getting out a notepad.

“Um, I’ll have the spaghetti Bolognaise with some water.” I tell the lady while looking at her with a smile.

“Okay, anything else?” She asks me while writing my order down.

“Uh no, I’m okay thank you.” I say and then hand her my menu.

She gives me a smile while taking it and then walks away from me.

 “Just give me all the salads you have and make sure there’s no meat in them.” I hear a guy say from the table behind me.

“Right away sir.” My waitress that served me says to him.

She then hands me my water and walks away from me.

I let out a sigh yet again, and then start to drink my water.

“Hm, I need to get laid again, that stupid girl today ruined me.” I hear the salad guy say from behind me.

I then recognized that voice, so I turn around and then mentally groan.

“You are here.” I say giving him a glare.

He gives me a grin and then shoos the woman that he is talking to.

“I am, so want to join me?” He asks me with a smirk on his face.

I roll my eyes at his stupid sexy smirk.

“Please? I hate dining alone.” He chuckles then gives me a wink.

 “I don’t want to.” I tell him annoyed and cross my arms.

He doesn’t say anything but keeps on smirking at me.

“Well, how about later then? We can tour the city together.” He asks me while giving me a wink.

“Here is your food.” I hear the waitress say.

I turn back around and give her a thank you then turn back to face the jerk.

“Um, I’m not from here or Greece at all.” I muttered.

“Oh, I’m not really from here.” He says with a smirk.

“So, where are you even from?” I ask him later that day sitting in my couch at my hotel room.

“Um, the ocean.” He laughs softly and leans back against the couch.

Huh, he’s a fisherman, that’s kind of sexy.

“Well, I got to go back to my room and sleep, big day tomorrow.” He informs me and gets up from the couch.

 “Bye!” I yell out to him while he is walking out of my room.

After he closes the door, I let out a sigh and then get up and grab a water bottle from my mini fridge.

*ALEC’S POV*

I wake up the next morning and get ready, I overheard some people that the police found the two divers I killed.

 So, I am about to find out some more details about it.

My father wants the mermaid race to stay completely hidden from the humans.

I then lock my hotel room door and then walk away.

“Yeah, two divers were found dead, their bodies washed up on shore.” A woman tells me.

The woman who just so happens to be a secretary for the police.

“Oh, do you have their names and such?” I ask her while drinking my coffee.

She gives me a smirk.

“I have everything on them, even the autopsy reports.” She says with a wink.

I give her a big smirk.

“Can you tell me about it?” I ask her still smirking.

She then blushes and logs into the computer.

 Human women are oh so hot.

“Kimberly, get you and those diamond earrings of yours over here now.” I see some officer say with a sigh.

“Be right there.” She says and then gives me a wink.

“Help yourself sweetie.” She then tells me while patting my shoulder and then walking away from me.

I then take my seat and then get to work.
