Chapter 3The ringing in my ear woke me up abruptly. It wasn’t a fabrication from my dream, but my phone blaring next to me on the bedside table. Rolling over, I saw that it was midnight. “Hello,” I pushed out with a hoarse voice. There was loud music blaring in the background. “Luca, I am sorry to call so late, but I need help. I have ruined my life.” “Jada?” I sounded confused, but I wasn’t. “Yeah, it’s me.” I pushed myself up in my bed.
