It has been a full week since the accident. A full week of Anna lying on the hospital bed, confined to a room alone with her thoughts. Her head didn’t hurt as much, and her wound was healing nicely. A bit of hair had started regrowing on the shaved spot, and it prickled her fingers as she scratched the area near the healing wound.
