Mitchell's Part "We are not attending the party, Lily," Mitchell blotted out, terrified and at a loss of what to do. Lily blinked, her lips slightly parted wondering whether she heard Mitchell correctly or not but just before she could regain her voice, Mitchell grabbed her hand and turned towards her door, eager to leave her house before anyone find them, still terrified by all that she had heard but just before they reached the door, someone knocked on the door. Mitchell froze immediately, her heart in her throat, while Lily almost stumbled into her because of her abrupt stop feeling rather baffled at her friend's reaction. "Mum," Mitchell muttered, surprised to see her mum, Mrs Judy, in her room. Lily lifted her gaze on the woman her friend Mitchell just addressed as Mum, her lips slowly parted again when she saw how beautiful she looked. "Are you going somewhere?" Mrs Judy asked as she saw Mitchell by the door. "No…mum… yes …mum…? Mitchell muttered, and shook her head slightly. "What are you doing here?" Mitchell asked her mum in a near nervous tone, trying to pull herself together, hoping she does not suspect a thing because of her nervousness. "I heard from your dad that you came to find me," Mrs Judy said in return, peering at her daughter sensing her nervousness, "are you alright sweetie?" She added, scrutinising her. "Yeah, mum," Mitchell replied immediately, shrugging her shoulders a little, "I came to tell you earlier that my friend has arrived," Mitchell said almost immediately again, turning to look at Lily who was standing beside her, forcing a smile on her face, even though she wished her mum didn't get to see her friend Lily especially after what she had overheard. "Oh," Mrs Judy said, turning her gaze on Mitchell's friend Lily, who was also gazing at her the whole time, her eyes filled with admiration for her. "How are you dear?" Mrs Judy asked, peering at Lily with a smile on her lips. "I'm fine, thank you ma'am," Lily replied, sounding so excited, "I must say you are very beautiful ma'am," Lily added, complimenting Mrs Judy, who lifted her brows a little, now smiling broadly. "Thanks dear, you are looking so gorgeous yourself," Mrs Judy said too, looking at her closely this time, taking note of the dress she was wearing. She knew at once that it was Mitchell's clothe even though she didn't say it. "Me, beautiful?" Lily asked, letting out a little laughter as she think that Mitchell's mum was exaggerating, "I think it's because of this beautiful dress I am wearing ma'am," Lily said, referring to Mitchell's cloth that she has on, and ignoring the look on Mitchell's face as she gestured for her not to talk about the clothe. "Your daughter is so kind, Ma'am, she gave me this beautiful dress," Lilly added, still feeling very excited to have come to Mitchell's party. "It looks good on you, dear, you can keep it," Mrs Judy said, still wearing a cute smile and sounding so friendly, this made Mitchell's blood boil, wondering how she could sound so friendly to someone she wanted to harm. She never her mum could be like this and it terrified her even though she was doing her best to try and hide it. "You look beautiful too, Mitchell," Mrs Judy said turning her gaze to her daughter, lifting her hand to touch her face. "Thanks mum," Mitchell replied, and slowly pulled her face away from her mum's hand, flashing her a weary smile. Mrs Judy, shot Mitchell a rather wild stare, wondering why she was reacting in an odd manner towards her, she seemed not to be her usual self "Are you alright, Mitchell?" Mrs Judy asked, still peering at her. "I am fine mum, I am not a child anymore and besides, we are not alone," Mitchell replied, gesturing to her mum about Lily's presence, using that as an excuse, sensing her mum's feelings towards her behaviour. "Oh, Sweetie, you do not need to be shy," Mrs Judy said, thinking that Mitchell was being shy because or her friend's presence. "By the way, you look like you were going somewhere?" She asked again peering from her daughter to Lily. "Yes, Ma'am…" Lily was saying when Mitchell quickly brushed her shoulders against hers making her stop immediately to look at Mitchell who shot her a wild stare too, frightened by what Lily about to say. "I was only going to show her around the house, mum, before the party started," Mitchell told her mum, trying to sound convincing, even though she was very scared about what would happen if she does not succeed in getting Lily out of her house. She is scared already now that her mum got to see lily's face. "Alright dear, you do not have to wander too far because the party is about to start," Mrs Judy told Mitchell, still wearing a cute smile that left Lily blushing. "By the way, your friend is beautiful," she whispered to Mitchell enough for Lily to hear her before leaving Mitchell's room. "Your mum is so beautiful, Mitchell and kindhearted too, she looked so young, if you hadn't addressed her as Mum, I would have thought she was your sister or a relative or probably on of your guests daughter." Lily started off immediately after Mrs Judy left Mitchell's room and continued afterwards while Mitchell just stood still peering at the door, waiting to calm her nerves and properly think of a way out of their house without being noticed. "I've never met such a beautiful woman such as your Mum before, her pale blue eyes suits her well structured face perfectly and that slender body of hers, so well curved in that elegant dress of hers with her hair perfectly done as well, I am sorry to say this Mitchell, your are a beautiful girl but your mum, she looks like a goddess, or should I say, she is the perfect definition of royalty," Lily went on, in admiration of Mitchell's mum, Mrs Judy. "I know Lily so you do not have to apologise, I look nothing like my mum," Mitchell said softly, still trying to figure out her next move. "You are right Mitchell, although you do have her slender body and a beautiful curvy body, I have always admired you Mitchell, and I know many of our classmates admire you too." Lilly said, hoping she did not hurt Mitchell's feeling when she said she looked nothing like her mum, and Mitchell sensed it. "You don't have to feel bad for telling the truth Lily, I know that I did not take after my mum, but I did take after my Dad, I have his dark brown eyes you know, and you are right, I think I did take after my mum's slender body because my dad is not a slim man," Mitchell said, still trying to make Lily feel at ease. "Is your Dad fat then?" Lily asked, her large eyes widened in curiosity. "Hey, my dad is not fat, neither is he slim, he is somewhere in between, I would say, but you need to know, my dad's body is well structured, and so is his face, he and my mum are a perfect match." Mitchell said in admiration of her parents, forgetting about what she had heard earlier but almost immediately, she bit her lower lips as those words rushed through her memory, Mrs Judy who paused outside Mitchell's door after stepping out of her room, smiled to herself after she overhead their conversation. She thought Mitchell's friend, Lily was cute and was only a pitty she had to be used for the ritual to help her daughter find her essence. "It is only a matter of time before Mitchell too can have such a radiant and unique beauty," Mrs Judy said inwardly, hoping that Lily's blood would start the magic for Mitchell's beauty. She could not forget her first kill and how she had felt, thankful that she would be around to help her daughter Mitchell go through the ordeal that comes with their identity, recalling how challenging it had been for her with no parent present to help her at that time. She quietly walked away from Mitchell's door, feeling eager to see to it that things go as planned. Mitchell quietly walked closer to her room door, she listened closely, pressing her ears against the door to listen for any possible sound, her gaze on Lily who peered with curiosity wondering what she was up to. "Come on, it's time to go," Mitchell said, taking Lily's hand and leading her back to the door. "What are you doing, Mitchell?" Lily asked, her brows lifted in surprise as Mitchell slowly opened her door, her body bent over a little like she was sneaking around, and afraid of being caught. "Quite, you do not want to attract attention to us," Mitchell said immediately, closing the door behind her and standing up straight, trying to look normal. "We need to leave Lily, trust me, you do not want to stay around for this party," Mitchell said, holding Lily's hand and walking back the way they came into the house earlier, thankful that she already has a secret passage of her own else she would not have known what she would have done in a situation as this. "This party?" Lily asked, surprised that she would refer to her own party as that, "the party is your party, Mitchell, and I think it is already starting, and that way," Lily said, glancing behind her and pointing in the opposite direction. "Just follow me, Lily and please be quiet," Mitchell said in a near commanding tone which kind of startled Lily as she has never seen her like this. Soon they were standing in front of the small passage way Mitchell created for herself leading to the woods. She could hear the soft music coming from her house and the sound of people chatting and laughing too and knew it was about time they called for her. "Quick," Mitchell said, quickly pulling Lily's hand gesturing for her to crawl through the passage way and almost immediately she followed suite, and then close then closed the place up again, making sure she did a good job so that they would not be traced easily. "I do not understand what it is you are doing, can you tell me what is going on?" Lily asked feeling worried as she sensed something was wrong. "Keep moving Lily," Mitchell said taking her hand again and pulling her so that they could continue moving even though she does not know at the moment where it is she would go from here, what she wanted was to take Lily away to safety first including herself as she could not imagine taking a human blood herself. She turned to glance at Lily whose gaze was still on her even as they kept walking farther into the woods wondering what good reason she was going to say to Lily for what she was doing because she cannot bring herself to tell Lily what she has just discovered, besides, it would be for her own good not knowing what she had heard. Mr and Mrs Judy and Jeffrey Wilson came down to greet their guests feeling very excited and eager to commence the ritual as their guests were part of their circle and knew quite alright what the party was for. "Where is the celebrant?" One of their guest, Mr Brett asked, peering at Mr Jeffrey, he likes the taste of blood and can't wait to for the real party to begin since they would be served blood as drinks. "We will send for her right away," Mr Jeffrey replied, wearing a smile on his face and turned to his wife, Mrs Judy to send for Mitchell. Mrs Judy nodded, knowing what the look in her husband's eyes ment. "Go fetch Mitchell, Jenny," Mrs Judy quickly gestured to one of the servants to go fetch Mitchell. "Aright Ma'am," Jenny replied immediately and went off to fetch Mitchell. She knocked on her door immediately she got to the door but there was no response, she knocked again and slowly entered the room to see that it was empty as Mitchell wasn't there. Jenny pressed her lips together, afraid to go and report to Mrs Judy that her daughter wasn't present in the room. She was an ordinary human lady who knew nothing about the secrets in the house, she has just been employed to work there and was being careful not to loose her job as she was quite aware that Mrs Judy dismisses her servants at will, which she was told by the servants she met that none of them knew why she dismissed her servants as most of them were diligent with their work. "What is it, Jenny?" Mrs Judy asked as she saw her walking rather slowly towards her, almost like she was afraid. "Speak up, will you?" She added, peering at Jenny after she said nothing but fondled with her fingers which she could see was trembling a little. "Miss Mitchell is not in her room ma'am," Jenny stammered, still fondling with her trembling fingers. "Have you looked in other places for her?" Mrs Judy asked glancing at her husband who came to stand beside her wondering what was going on. "She told me she was going to show her friend around the house," Mrs Judy added, turning her gaze on Jenny. "Yes Ma'am, I have searched in all the places I think she could be in but couldn't find her," Jenny stammered again to Mr and Mrs Judy and Jeffrey's surprised. They both unconsciously turned their gaze on each other wondering where their daughter could be in such time of the night…
