Mitchell's Part
"That's strange, I just saw her a couple of minutes ago in her room and with her friend," Mrs Judy said, lifting her shoulder a little.
"You did?" Mr Jeffrey asked, turning his gaze away from Jenny to his wife, "are you sure you searched for her properly?" Mr Jeffrey asked Jenny who nodded in response without a word. "If she you didn't find her in any of the places, then where could she be?" He asked but not to Jenny in particular, his brows furrowed a little as he became worried.
"Excuse me Jeffrey, I have news," Dav came to whisper into Mr Jeffrey's ears.
"What news?" Mr Jeffrey asked turning to Dav immediately, sensing the worry in the tone of his voice.
"The Stakes are here," Dav immediately whispered again in replied into Mr Jeffrey's ears.
"The Stakes are here," Mrs Judy gasped immediately, at the news, even though she wasn't ment to hear it she did anyway because she has the ability to do so.
The Stakes are werewolves from Stakes pack who have come to be the sworn enemies of Weavers pack, the pack where Mr Jeffrey is the Alpha but married to a Vampire, Mrs Judy who became his Luna.
"How come they are here? What do they want this time?" Mr Jeffrey asked, his brows furrowed immediately.
"I think words got out to them about Mitchell's ritual today and they have come to sabotage it," Dav replied, keeping his tone down. "Give the instructions on what to do Alpha Jeffrey," Dav added.
"I do not want to be addressed as Alpha, Dav, I have told you that I like to keep it simple," Mr Jeffrey said, reminding Dav how he wanted to be addressed. Jeffrey and his wife Judy, prefered to be addressed as Mr and Mrs instead of Alpha and Luna since they are living among other ordinary people in their community.
"You are still our Alpha, and I missed calling you that," Dav said in a low tone, still waiting for Mr Jeffrey to give the instruction on what they should do.
"Why would they want to sabotage Mitchell's ritual?" Mrs Judy asked even though she already knew why, her brows lifted in surprise and fear at the same time, surprise because they have done their best to keep the ritual discrete and fear not because she was afraid of the Stakes werewolves but because they may succeed in stopping her daughter's ritual tonight.
"You already know why Mrs Judy," Dav replied to her question almost immediately. The Weavers pack members and the Stakes Pack members already knew what powers Mitchell will possess if she come to find her essence and master her powers and abilities.
"We need to find Mitchell, Jeffrey," Mrs Judy said, her eyes starting to turn into red as anger began to sweep through her, she cannot believe that the Stakes werewolves have come to stop them from performing Mitchell's ritual. "We need to perform that ritual for our daughter's sake." Mrs Judy added, turning her burning gaze on her husband.
"Go to your room, Jenny, take the rest of the servants with you and make sure not to come out because we have some intruders who are here to disturb out party, if you happen to run into Mitchell, take her with you," Mr Jeffrey instructed Jenny immediately calmly, standing in between her and his wife Judy to stop Jenny from seeing his wife's true identity, since she was an ordinary human who like every other human living in their community thinks of them as nothing but wealthy humans too.
"Get the others ready," Mr Jeffrey told Dav immediately he heard Jenny and the rest of the servants hide in their rooms using his ability. "Listen for Mitchell's sound if you can hear her," Mr Jeffrey told his Mrs Judy who nodded immediately in response to him and closed her eyes, trying to concentrate in other to use her ability to find the location of her daughter.
Mr Jeffrey did same too, tilting his head back and forth, his ears flaping a little as he did to try and listen for Mitchell's sound too, using far hearing ability. They both opened their eyes again in frustration when they heard nothing but the movement of their opponent as they moved closer to their mansion.
"Nothing?" Mr Jeffrey asked, peering into his wife's eyes. Mrs Judy shook her head a little indicating that she didn't hear any sound of their daughter Mitchell.
"I wonder if they got Mitchell already, Jeffrey, I cannot hear any sign of her around the mention," Mrs Judy told her husband, Mr Jeffrey, her tone filled with worry. "I did pick up a sound that seemed to be moving away, farther into the woods, only I did not know if it's Mitchell because I could not get to perceive her because of the intrusion and because it's very far from here." She added, sounding agitated.
"You need to go check it out but be careful," Mr Jeffrey told her, hoping that it's not their rival taking their daughter away.
"Right away, Jeffrey," Mrs Judy said and turned to leave but stopped abruptly again when she saw the Alpha of Stakes pack standing in front of them.
'Larry?" Mrs Judy muttered, peering furiously at Alpha Larry, the Alpha of Stakes Pack.
"What are you doing here uninvited?" Mr Jeffrey asked, burning with rage at the sight of him in his house. He didn't notice his scent as he was busy trying to catch Mitchell's scent and so was Mrs Judy, who was beginning to turn into her hideous form already.
"Are you going somewhere?" Alpha Larry asked, letting out a crooked smile from the corner of his lips, peering at Mrs Judy who was peering furiously at him.
Larry had overheard them talking earlier about Mitchell's disappearance using his far distance hearing ability, and had sent his men to go and find Mitchell first as he would want to keep her as his prisoner to purnish the Weavers pack and most importantly, their Alpha and Luna, Mr and Mrs Judy and Jeffrey Wilson.
Larry had wanted to rule over the both packs for years but was surprised when Mr Jeffrey married a Vampire and made her his Luna, he felt even angrier because of the alliance and tried to find a way to eliminate the Alpha's of both his pack, Stakes pack and Weavers pack which led him to causing the conflict that took the life of his Alpha King and brother, including his family which made him to automatically become the Alpha king of Stakes pack and now, he want to get rid of Mr and Mrs Judy and Jeffrey in other to rule over their pack as well but instead of succeeding like he had planned he had a more challenging matter to deal with and that is their daughter Mitchell who was assumed to possess so many powers and he feels threatened by it.
"Get out of my way Larry," Mrs Judy snapped, trying to leave the huge living room to go and find Mitchell, but Larry moved quickly to stand in her way. Mr Jeffrey moved swiftly too as soon as he saw Larry move, to stand beside his wife in her to try and protect her because he knew how malicious Larry caould be.
Some of the pack members from Stakes who had come for the intrusion rushed to stand beside their Alpha King, thinking that Mr and Mrs Judy and Jeffrey where going to attack Larry as well as members of Weavers pack who also rushed to stand beside their leader, Mr and Mrs Judy and Jeffrey too sensing a war. All of them charging against each other.
"You do not have to worry about your daughter, she is going to be a perfect match for me as my Luna," Larry said calmly but mockingly, which provoked Mr and Mrs Judy and Jeffrey.
"How dare you have such intentions towards my daughter?" Mr Jeffrey snapped, charging at Alpha Larry, who charged at him too and almost immediately they all stared fighting among each other with each one of them turning into their animal and hideous form.
Mrs Judy tried to find her way out of the scene in other to find her daughter Mitchell, whom she knew would be powerless and naive about the situation, but Alpha Larry and his werewolves would not give her the opportunity to do so. They kept on fighting to prevent Mr Jeffrey and his wife, Mrs Judy from leaving their mansion as he hoped his men would get to their daughter first.
Mrs Judy fought with so much rage, wishing she had consumed blood before this fight, hating the way the Stakes werewolves were fighting to stop her and her husband from carrying out their daughter's ritual

"Did you hear that?" Lily asked, turning her gaze away from Mitchell to look around the woods, feeling frightened now by the darkness and how strange the woods now seemed, it was nothing like this when she first followed Mitchell to walk through the woods earlier that evening. She was curious at first why Mitchell had to leave her party like that and wanted them to go back and not miss the party but now, she feels exhausted after walking quite a distance in the woods that has become dark that she wanted to just go back to her house and sleep in her little but cozy bed.
"I think it's nothing, Lily, it might just be an animal trying to go to it's resting place to catch some sleep." Mitchell said in response to Lily who she sensed was now frightened. She said that not to scare her any further even though she was afraid herself, especially after the revelation she heard. She heard the sound that Lily heard and talked about and thinks it was from the people her mum would have sent after them, knowing they must be looking for her now.
"We have to go this way, Lily," Mitchell took Lily's hand that she had slipped away from her before. "There is a short cut here, Lily, Hury up and please try and be quiet," Mitchell told her, feeling even more scared for her life, recalling what would happen to her if they are caught.
"A short cut?" Lily asked, her eyes lifted on Mitchell with hope as she walked behind her, her hands in Mitchell's hand, eager to leave the woods. "A short cut out of the woods?" Lily asked again when Mitchell said nothing in response but kept on walking and still pulling her along with her.
"Yes, Lily, now keep quiet and try to move a litte bit faster if you don't want to be eaten by a wild animal," Mitchell told her glancing to look at her even though she did not literally mean being eaten my a wild animal but her parents plot to kill her. She could see how terrified Lilly looked after glancing at her and then moved even faster.
"Come on, quick, hide over here," Mitchell said quickly, pulling Lily to hide behind a wood, hiding with her too as she could barely see clearly where they were going and afraid to get lost, she wondered why the moon didn't shine brightly tonight but pushed the thought away as she felt it was a good thing the moon didn't shine brightly tonight as they may have been caught by now.
She would have taken the path that she knew very well, the part that lead to the road but she didn't because she did not want to risk being caught as her parents knew a path that could lead them to that path and that is if they do not know of the path already, she thought, recalling what she had heard they were, and now that she thought of it, it became clear to her why her parents always talked about the night in the stories they told her.
"This place is creepy, Mitchell," Lily said frightfully but in a whisper, her eyes wandering around the woods even though she could not see clearly.
"I thought you are a brave girl, Lily, full of adventures," Mitchell whispered to her.
"I know how I used to talk brave and independent but this is too much, Mitchell, we are in the woods for goodness sake, I came to attend a party not hide in the woods," Lily whispered frightfully again, making Mitchell to feel sorry for her. She wished she had overheard her mum and dad discuss about the so called ritual earlier than this, then she would never have invited Lily to her house nor any of her friends at all and would have ran away from home long ago and not be stuck in the woods like this."
Mitchell quickly lifted her palms to cover Lily's mouth when she wanted to speak again as she heard footsteps approaching them.
"It's a dead end, I do not think they came this way," they heard a man say after a few seconds and then turned to leave shortly afterwards, followed by his companion.
"I think we will have to spend the night here, Lily," Mitchell whispered into lily's ear, slowly taking her palm away from her lips.
Lily lifted her gaze in terror to Mitchell as it finally hit her that something was actually wrong.
