Molly's Part "Oh no, not again," Molly who heard the conversation from her room muttered, thinking that it was a bad idea because of how her body had reacted after she met Samuel the priest, not knowing how she was going to react when she met another priest, Zack. She curled herself up on the floor wishing there was something she could do to free herself from whatever was happening to her without having to face another priest or making her parents worry, as she hated it and was tired of it herself. “Can you hear a thing?” Mrs Margaret asked, turning her gaze on her husband, Mr Martin who shook his head in acknowledgement that he could not hear any sound. “Do you think she is alright now?” Mrs Margrate asked her husband again, wiping tears from her eyes with the back of her palms. “I think we should check on her to see if she is alright.” Mr Martin said, slowly standing up from where he was seated beside his wife close to Molly”s room door. “Where do you think you are going, Mr Martin?” One of his neighbours, Matthew asked immediately, lifting his gaze at him, followed by the rest of the people in the living room with them. "I need to check up on my daughter," Mr Martin replied him immediately, "I cannot hear any sound coming from her room," Mr Martin added. "Are you sure it's alright for you to go in there?" Mrs Susan asked, feeling very concerned about their safety. "I think my daughter is calm now so I need to check on her," Mrs Margaret replied instead. The other neighbours just stared at one another without saying any words but turned back on Mr and Mrs Margaret and Martin with flickers of fear in their eyes. "Think it through before going in there." Matthew said, still worried about their safety. "I think Molly is calm now, Matthew, I heard that those possessed by evil spirit regain their senses after a while, they are not possessed the entire time," Mrs Margaret said in a trembling tone, hoping the theory she had heard was correct and that the evil spirit has left Molly since she was calm now. "That is correct Mrs Margaret, that's what I have heard too about those who were being possessed by evil spirits," Mrs Susan said in agreement to what Molly's mum had said. "Only some of them do not leave there victims for long, especially if they are still in the room or disturbed," James said almost immediately, peering from Mrs Susan to Mrs Margaret and her husband, Mr Martin, who both looked at each other with fear in their eyes. "What?" James asked, referring to the eye Matthew shut at him after his statement, "I need them to be careful that's all, they should be well informed and know the risks before going back in there," James added. "Thanks James, but I think Molly is stable now," Mr Martin said in response to James. "Stay here Margaret, allow me to go and check it out alone," Mr Martin told his wife Mrs Margaret. "I will go with you, Martin, she is my daughter too," Mrs Margaret said in return, not willing to allow her husband go into Molly's room alone, feeling afraid of what might happen. Mr Martin peered into his wife's eyes, sensing her fears and her reason for insisting to into their daughter's room with him. They have been childhood sweethearts and have loved each other ever since, he knew if something were to happen to him, Margaret will not be able to survive it, neither would he be able to handle it if something bad were to happen to her. He didn't have so much money to give his wife a luxurious life style which he had promised and hoped to give her but his wife Margaret didn't care about that at all as what she wanted was to be happy by his side, he hated it seeing her cry and worried like this because of their sweet girl and it broke his heart too. He leaned forward and kissed her forehead, giving her a brief hug, "Alright Margaret," Mr Martin said in agreement to allow her go into Molly's room with him. "Please be careful," Mrs Susan said calmly, glancing at Samuel the priest who just stared blankly at them without saying a word. He wanted to go back to his church a few miles away from here but Mrs Susan and the other neighbours told him it was late to go back. They told him to stay and leave when it's morning since he was also going to bring Zack, the priest he said taught him how to be a priest himself. Mr and Mrs Margaret and Martin just nodded briefly before turning their gaze on Molly's door, they both gazed briefly at each other again before slowly pushing Molly's door open. Molly, who overheard all that they have said, slowly lifted her gaze on them, she was still curled up on the floor, her body feeling a little numb from the jerking earlier, all she could do was stare at her parents. Mr and Mrs Margaret and Martin slowly walked a few steps into her room, their gaze on their daughter, wondering if it was alright for them to have come into her room now, seeing how she was still lying motionless on the floor. "Are you sure she is back to her senses now." Mrs Margaret whispered to her husband, Mr Martin, whose gaze was fixed on his daughter, still a little afraid that Molly could just jump up from the floor and attack them. "I am not sure, Margaret," Mr Martin replied without looking at his wife's face, even though his hands were wrapped around hers. Like his wife, he was also cautious not to be taken unawares by Molly. Molly pressed her lips together, staring at her parents, seeing how hesitant they were to come to her, wondering how her life could just take a sudden turn from what it used to be to what was now. Her parents would have come and hugged her already if the situation was different recalling how they would take turn to have her hug them. They would have finished eatind dinner around this time and probably be sitting on the dining table right now chatting and laughing at some ridiculous joke told by either of her parents, especially about their farm and how the animals behaved during their time there or perhaps something else. She could see how they both looked holding each other, a few steps away from the door. Her mum's beautiful face has suddenly turned pale and saddened with worrying about her situation, her neck born sunk deeper into shoulders, looking more skinny than she looked before, and her dad, Mr Martin's dark brown hair and beard that was usually well combed now looked so tattered like it had not been combed in days, his radient and happy face, turned pale too and also looking like he had aged more in just a few hours, especially with the lines on his face. "Molly," her Dad, Mr Martin called out in a near husky tone peering at her and not sure whether to take a few more steps forward towards his daughter or not given what he had experienced and seen her do. "Dad," Molly tried to say but the word didn't come out, only her lips moving a little, unable to speak out loud, which she found very strange and wanted to force another word but couldn't. She just shut her eyes briefly wondering what could be happening to her now. "Mr Martin," Nelson called out softly after a while, walking slowly into Molly's room to see if they are alright. He paused by the door and gestured to the other neighbours after he saw Mr and Mrs Margaret and Martin standing a few steps away from the door. Mrs Susan, Matthew and James followed behind Nelson into Molly's room to see how she was doing expect Samuel the priest who stayed behind in the small living room still a little shocked for what he had experienced in the hands of Molly earlier. Molly peered at her neighbours from where she was lying, taking note of how worried and concerned they all where for her. She used to love chatting with them as they were fun to be with when she was growing up, and she loved playing with Mrs Susan's twin kids, Grace and Graham more than the other kids that often come to play with them from the houses a little far apart from theirs. Grace and Graham were both about the same age as she is, and attended the same school with her. She started isolating herself from them and the other kids after the incident with her and one of their chickens on her sixteenth birthday, even though she did not want to, she had to because they too became quite nervous playing with her, and there was nothing anyone could do about it, even Mrs Susan tried to get them to play with her again but didn't succeed, so since then, she slowly became a loner with no one willing to hang out with her. She feels lonely about that and only had her parents to play and talk with, although, sometimes she would just drift off in her thoughts and leave her parents wondering whether she was alright or not but latter on they concluded that she was quite different from the other kids. "Is Molly alright?" Mrs Susan asked softly, walking to stand beside her parents Mr and Mrs Margaret and Martin who were still holding each other and peering down at their daughter still not sure whether it was safe to go to her. She quite understand what they were going through and feels pity for them as she cannot imagine seeing any of her kids like this. "Mum," Molly tried to call out for her parents again as she needed their help to get off the ground and lie on her bed. She have slowly started feeling her body but could still not move them and she is getting cold lying on the floor and could not find the strength to get up, feeling very weak. "I think Molly is trying to say something," Mr Martin said, pausing to observe his daughter, Mrs Margaret and Mrs Susan too peered at Molly to see if Mr Martin was right. "Molly…" Mrs Margaret called out immediately she saw Molly's lips move again, moving towards her, her dad, Mr Martin followed beside her too, trying to be brave, but Mrs Susan followed slowly behind trying to be cautious since she was not sure if Molly has come back to her senses or not. "Dad," Molly muttered again, but more audible this time, enough for her parents who were now standing a few steps away from her to hear her. "Molly," her parents echoed together, rushing towards her immediately, seeing how she called out for them this time. They both bent over her, slowly pulled her up, her back resting on Mr Martin's body. "I am cold Dad," Molly muttered again, still audible enough for them to hear her. "Quick, Margaret, make her bed, she is cold," Mr Martin told his wife. Mrs Susan rushed to Molly's bed post and helped her mum, Mrs Margaret make the bed quicker for Molly. The other neighbours too came closer seeing that Molly was alright now. They helped Molly to lie on her bed shortly afterwards, Mr and Mrs Margaret and Martin pulled the sheets together to cover Molly's body to get her warm. Seeing her normal again brought fresh tears on Mrs Margaret's face, that she quickly started wiping with the back of her palms. "Stop crying now, Margaret, our daughter is going to be alright, we will find a cure for this, anything we can to bring our daughter out of this," Mr Martin said, pulling his wife closer to himself. Their neighbours soon left them after Molly had fallen asleep, Matthew took Samuel the priest to spend the night with him in his house.
