Mitchell's Part "It's a dead end, I do not think they came this way," they heard a man say after a few seconds and then turned to leave shortly afterwards, followed by his companion. "I think we will have to spend the night here, Lily," Mitchell whispered into lily's ear, slowly taking her palm away from her lips. Lily lifted her gaze in terror to Mitchell as it finally hit her that something was actually wrong. "Who are does men, Mitchell, why are they after us?" Lily whispered, sounding so frightened. "I do not know, Lily, I have never seen them before and I do not know why they are following us," Mitchell whispered back to her, feeling very scared herself but she she was trying not to let it show because of Lily. "You should not have left your home Mitchell, why did you have to leave?" Lily whispered again, frightfully. Mitchell peered at her for a while, knowing she was right, but that is if her house was safe enough for them to have stayed in, she does not even know what to do as if it is because she never thought that her parents would be something she else, something she never imagined they would be, which means she does not even know what she is herself, a Vampire or a werewolf. She listened enough to hear her parents say that she needed the blood of her friend to awaken her powers and thinking of this now, it terrifies her more than the men she had seen and the dark woods. "Why did you leave your house, Mitchell, and do not tell me that you are running away from your house?" Lily whispered again, peering curiously and frightfully at her. "No way," Lily gasped almost immediately, seeing the look on her friend's face. "Yes, Lily, I am running away," Mitchell replied, wiling to tell Lily the truth even though she wasn't going to tell her the reason behind her running away from home especially since it will do her good. She knew her parents would find her, especially since her mum saw Lily's face. She only hope that they do not hurt her. "Why are running away from your beautiful home and from a sweet mum like your mum?" Lily asked out loud forgetting that they were in hiding. "Shh…" Mitchell said immediately to hush Lily, putting a finger to her lips. "Keep your voice down," Mitchell said, looking around to remind Lily where they are. Lily also glanced around her frightfully but turned her gaze again to Mitchell almost immediately, staring curiosly at her. Mitchell stared at her, understanding her curiousness, she too would have stared at Lily the same way if she were in her position because no girl in her rightful sense would run away from a beautiful mansion like hers and from such lovely parents she thought. "Look Lily, I know that you are curious to find out why I had to run away but the truth is that I overheard my parents talking in my dad's study room when I went out earlier to check on them." Mitchell whispered to Lily again trying to give her a reason. "My parents do not have the intention of granting my request to do some certain things my way," Mitchell whispered quickly. "What?" Lily asked in a low tone, "that's your reason for running away?" Lily asked again, still in a low tune but sounding so shocked than surprised. "Yes Lily, they were only trying to deceive me," Mitchell said immediately trying to sound convincing, even though she was feeling frustrated inside, wishing she could just tell Lily the truth about her discovery, feeling the need to confined in someone. "They plan to carry on with the usual way they treated me since I was little after the party, Lily, allowing me to bring a friend was just to make me feel like they were going to grant my other wishes but that was just a lie." Mitchell muttered, sniffing to hold back the tears in her eyes. "That is not reason enough for you to run away Mitchell, you should go back before you give your mum a heart attack," Lily whispered and advanced. "My mum is sure going to get a heart attack but that is if she has a heart," Mitchell mumbled. "What did you say?" Lily asked as she did not her what she just said. "It's nothing Lily," Mitchell replied, glancing around the woods again, feeling a little calm since the place they are hiding seemed like a perfect place to hide, she looked up too, thankful that the moon was bright tonight, giving then more coverage. "I want to teach my parents that I could take care of myself now and don't need much pampering," Mitchell added still trying to sound convincing. "You should not have ran away from home Mitchell, if you must, you should not have chosen today to do it," Lily told her calmly almost in a whisper. "You should have waited and enjoyed the party they organised for you with, they must have organised the party with so much love, I mean I like the crazy idea of running away but it should not have been today," Lily said again, gazing into Mitchell's eyes, and placing her hand on her hands, understanding her point of view. She herself could not imagine being treated like a child the way Mitchell was being treated. "You probably would have been dead by now," Mitchell said inwardly, staring at Lily's hand as she spoke to her, feeling relieved that she bought the reason she gave her for running away and thankful that she had ran away with her before it was too late. "Now that you have ran away from your home and party, where do you plan on staying, given that you have nothing on you except for this beautiful dress you are wearing?" Lily asked, feeling concerned for her and wondered how she was going to cope by herself especially after living in such luxury. Mitchell peered blankly at her, she did not think about that when she left their house, she had absolutely nothing with her. "Did you not think about that before running away?" Lily asked, seeing how she just stared blankly at her, obviously knowing the answer to that. "No, I didn't," Mitchell muttered, as it downed on her that she would have grabbed a few things, especially her purse where she had some cash in. "Get up, Mitchell, we need to go back to your house, those men where probably sent by your parents to find you, so it's alright for us to go back to your house," Lily said, quickly standing up from their hiding place but Mitchell pulled her down again immediately. "Are you out of your mind?" She asked, terrified by her actions and afraid that someone might see them. "You need to stop this now and go home, your parents would be going crazy right now," Lily said immediately and normally too, not afraid of being caught again as she felt Mitchell was telling her the truth about why she left home. "Keep your tone down," Mitchell said in clenched teeth, getting a little angry now, hoping Lily could just stop talking and adding to her worries. "If you try to expose us again, I would run away from here and from you, so that you can be alone or probably go to my house by yourself, which one would you prefer?" Mitchell asked, peering angrily into her eyes. Lily just stared back at Mitchell, surprised after seeing how angry she was, she cannot recall seeing her this angry and knew that she must truely be very upset, so she decided it would be best for her to keep quiet and not make her angry anymore. "Would you prefer that I leave?" Mitchell asked again, her brows lifted at Lily curious to know her decision. "You can do as you please, Mitchell,' Lily replied and decided to let Mitchell be but inwardly she prayed that they survived sleeping in the woods tonight and promised inwardly to go home as quickly as she could when the morning comes, and resolving in her heart to live more responsibly after surviving this. Mitchell saw how quite she was and knew her decision at once, she turned away from Lily and shut her eyes to try and catch some sleep after making a place for herself to sleep in on the ground on the woods. Lily leaned on one of the fallen woods Close to them, peering at Mitchell and baffled at how she could just lie down their as if nothing happened, especially for a girl who was pampered and raise like a princess.
