Molly's Part Molly's eyes slowly went open, awakened by the early morning sun ray that was streaming into her room from her room window that was slightly open. She groaned from the burning scotch of the sun and turned away from it, slowly sitting up on her bed too. She stretched out her atms shortly afterwards, feeling so energetic this morning. It did not even feel like she had an episode last night which she found rather strange but then, slowly she recalled the incident with the chicken on her sixteenth birthday, it was as if the same scenario was repeating itself only, last night's episode was worse compared to her the episode on her sixteenth birthday and after the incident on her sixteenth birthday with the chicken, the very next day felt different like nothing happened. She blew a sigh of relief thankful that the incident of yesterday was behind her and like the next day after her sixteenth birthday she will continue to live her normal life without craving for blood. Molly quickly stood up from her bed and decided she got to leave early for school today and to surprise her parents who may think that she was still unwell. "Molly, what are you doing?" Her mum, Mrs Margaret asked after she pushed open her room door and saw her dressing up for school. She had come to sheck up on Molly, eager to see how she was doing but was surprised to see that she was getting ready for school. "I am getting ready for school, mummy," Molly replied, feeling like her usual self. She saw how stunned her Mum looked, staring at her. She must be wondering if she was dreaming, Mitchell thought, and she expected to see her like this though. she too, never expected to see herself in her usual self this morning especially after what happened last night. "Martin… Martin… please come quickly," Mrs Margaret called out for her husband Mr Martin staring at Molly from the corner of her eyes, not willing to take her eyes away from her just in case she will change and pounce on her like she did to her dad yesterday. "Is everything alright, Margaret?" Mr Martin asked, rushing into his daughter's room, his heart in his throat, wondering if Molly was all right for his wife to call out for him that way. "What is it?" He added, turning his gaze from his wife to his daughter Molly, his eyes widened in surprise as he saw her in her school uniform. "Molly," he muttered still peering at her, surprised to see her all dressed up for school. "Good morning Dad,"Molly greeted him, knowing why he too was surprised. "Are you going to school?" Mr Martin asked, blinking a little to know if he was seeing correctly or not. "Yes Dad, I am on my way to school," Molly replied, picking her school bag up and hanging it over her shoulders. "Are you sure it is safe for you to go to school today giving your condition yesterday,"Mr Martin asked, taking a few steps into the room with Mrs Margaret tagging along unconsciously. "Yes Dad, I will be all right, besides, I feel normal today," Molly said peering into her Dad's eyes. Mr Martin turned his gaze from Morley to peek up at his wife who also gazed into his eyes, both of them wondering if it was safe for Molly to go to school, they have already sent for Zach the other priest Samuel the priest said he was going to bring to try and deliver Molly from the evil spirits possessing her and they know that Zack the priest maybe on his way now if Samuel the priest has already reached his church as he left very early. "I do not think it is safe for you to go to school today sweetie," Mrs Margaret said Softly, stretching out her arm to take Molly's hand, glancing at her husband as she spoke. "Why mum?" Molly asked pressing her lips together afterwards because she already knew why her mum didn't want her to go to school, she knew they may be afraid that what happened last night with the priest and her dad would happen in school. "Mum, Dad, I feel all right now, I don't even feel strange like I felt yesterday, it was as if what happened after my sixteenth birthday was repeating itself remember, I felt normal after my sixteenth birthday just like today, yesterday's episode happened because it was my eighteenth birthday and today I feel like nothing happened yesterday. "Are you sure darling?" Mr Martin asked slowly taking her other hand in his hand too and then glanced at his wife who was looking shocked like he was. "I am going to be late mum, dad," Molly said slowly taking her hands away from her parents hands and trying to sound normal in other not to make them worry even more recalling how warriee they were yesterday. "Do not worry, Mum, Dad, I will be fine," she said walking towards her door and leaving her parents staring blankly at her. "Hold on a minute Molly, " Mrs Margaret called out for her daughter who paused immediately and turned her gaze on her Mum. "if you want to go to school then, you should at least eat something, you need to eat breakfast before going to school," Mrs Margaret said since she had seen that Molly had already made up her mind to go to school, it feels nice to see her daughter looking this way again, she said inwardly and decided it would be best to allow her go to school and forget about the incident of yesterday. "No Mum, I think I am all right," Molly replied, feeling eager to leave the house and go to school and put the incident of yesterday behind her. "Alright darling, if you do not want to eat breakfast then lrt me pack some snacks for you," Mrs Margaret said and followed behind Molly while Mr Martin tagged along still a little baffled. Mrs Margaret rushed into her small sized kitchen and packed up a few snacks in a bagpack and gave it to Molly. "Thanks Mum, goodbye Dad," Molly said, waving at her parents, and then walked towards the door to leave for school. On her way out she tried to listen for the signs of her abilities but couldn't get any signal, she shook her head slightly as she walked along the road to see if her far distance hearing ability was still intact but she couldn't get any signal even though she could see some people standing a few inches away in front of her and she could see their lips moving. She shook her head again and decided to let it go, after all, she had wished for these abilities to disappear from her and for her to feel normal again, maybe it is the heavens harkening to her request, she thought A few minutes later, Molly arrived in school and went straight to her Locker in school as usual to get some of her books before going to her classroom. "There she is," Molly suddenly overheard one of the students in school say so the group of other students she was standing with. The rest of the students there lifted their head to peer at her. Molly quickly walked past them, trying not to pay attention to their stare but a few steps away again to her locker, she saw another group of students lift their heads to gaze in her direction and mumbling words from their lips which she could not quite understand but slowly she could see that the eyes of the students standing around the walkway to her locker were all on her. "Something must be wrong," she said inwardly, slowly opening her locker to get her books and go to her classroom still trying not to pay attention to the prying eyes on her. Molly locked her school locker after taking out the books she needed and putting them in her school bag and turned to leave for her classroom. "Are you possessed?" one of the students suddenly asked as Molly was trying to walk past her, making Molly stop abruptly and turn her gaze on the student, wondering why she would ask such a question. She couldn't even recognise the female student who asked the question because she wasn't in the same grade with her. "Excuse me?" Molly muttered but enough for them to hear her, her brows lifted in surprise, wondering why she would be asked such a question in school giving how far her house was away from school. "Answer the question, Molly, are you possessed?" Another male student in the same class asked when she turned away again to take another step, trying to ignore the female student when she didn't speak further but kept her lips pressed together, staring at her. Molly turn her gaze on the male student, wondering why he would ask her such a question too. She recognised him. His name is Josh, she used to play with Josh after he starting attending her school. Josh moved from another city after his parents got transferred from their jobs to this town. She used to like Josh then because he was cute and fun to talk with, the students in their class thought they were becoming sweethearts but Molly suddenly distanced herself from Josh after the incident with one of their Chickens on her sixteenth birthday, afraid that he would be the one to stop talking to her too like her neighbours twins, Grace and Graham who were both in the same class as she. Thinking of Grace and Graham now, she knew that those two most have said something to the other students about her episode last night, knowing how those two could be. Josh peered at Molly intently, waiting for her response. He wished she would speak up and defend herself for once because he wanted her to say that she wasn't possessed in front of all the students present. He had always had a crush on Molly since the day he first came to attend her school but was afraid so tell Molly about his feelings for her because he did not want her to stop being friends with him. Josh had been surprised that Molly did not come to school on her sixteenth birthday after he had prepared a present for her all night, he went home that day feeling very sad and worried. He had waited impatiently all night to give her the present the next day when she would come to school but surprisingly Molly snubbed him after he said hello to her. He went to ask Molly again what the problem was after class but Molly said nothing and walked away and since then he tried to get her to talk to him to find out what the problem was with her but Molly wouldn't answer and so he gave up in trying to talk to her. He also noticed that Molly stopped talking to other students in class and slowly became isolated from the rest of them and till this day he had wondered why she suddenly stayed away from the rest of the students and angry too for her sudden change without expectation. "She is possessed, isn't it obvious?" One of the female students said after a while in response to Josh and the other female students questions, smiling mockingly at Molly. Molly turned her gaze to see that it was Barbara, Barbara had always hated her since the first day she came to the school and had hated her even more after she started coming top in class taking the top position away from her and was happy to have Josh all to herself after she and Josh stopped being friends in school. "You all act like you are only getting to know her for the first time while you could all see clearly how strange she behaved in class and in school, she has always isolated herself from the rest of the students here and sometimes talk to herself," Barbara added, folding her arms under her breast and still peering at Molly. Barbara has been jealous of Molly since they became classmates, she hated her because of her extreme beauty and how carefree and cheerful she could be and all the students in class loved her very much including their teachers. Barbara hated her even more when Josh, a cute teenager as at that time came to attend school with them and started hanging out with Molly instead of her who had talked to him first. she had a crush on Josh and wanted Josh to be friends with her like the way he was with Molly but Josh always run off from their conversation whenever he saw Molly, she was extremely happy after Molly stopped talking to Josh which made Josh to pay more attention to her and eventually started hanging out with her more often but she hated it more whenever Josh would bring Molly up in their conversation so she would stop at nothing to discredit Molly. Barbara had always told Josh that Molly was possessed whenever he talked about her but Josh will not believe her saying that something must be wrong with Molly which she was keeping away from the rest of them and may probably need someone to talk to about it, which still made Barbara jealous, but today after Barbara heard about Molly being possessed from her neighbours she's helped spread the news even more to make Josh believe her story about Molly being processed for real. Molly slowly turned her gaze away from Barbara after staring at her angrily for a while, knowing what she was up to. Her gaze suddenly fall on her neighbours twin Grace and Graham whom she felt were both present during her episode yesterday, she tightened her jaw muscles immediately getting angrier at the sight of them, she confirmed from the looks on their faces that they were responsible for what was happening to her this morning only she did not know for sure that they were aware of what happened to her last night else she probably would have listened to her parents and not come to school today. Molly quickly looked away from them, seeing that she was getting too angry and was beginning to get a strange feeling. The last thing she wanted was for what happened yesterday to repeat itself here in school but as soon as she took a step forward one of the students from the group of students standing around her threw something on her. Morley turned her gaze immediately on the student that had thrown something on her and almost immediately some other student did the same thing and almost immediately again every other student started throwing some peice of paper on her. Molly suddenly felt her blood boiling from inside of her as the students booed at her and continued throwing things on her. She caught site of one of the students who was throwing things on her and almost immediately she charged at her and unconsciously stretched out her hand, grabbing the female student by the neck and lifting her off the ground to the terror of the rest of the students…
